LASU launches open educational resources (OER) repository

The Directorate of Information and Communication Technology has implemented the directive of the University Management by setting up an Open Educational Repository which has been a core demand of NUC for Nigerian Universities.

The OER is a portal that contains Open educational resources, like open textbooks, Course Lecture Materials, Multimedia Data, Research Data and Policies, Supplementary Materials including past examination questions etc. OERs are used to enhance learning either at minimal or no cost depending on the services that are being rendered over the OER portal with a handshake between the ICT and the University Library.

The content build up is on-going as many questions are already on the portal.

To access the content on the portal users should take the following steps:

1. Visit lasu.edu.ng

2. Click on Academics

3. Then OER

At this stage the portal opens on another window and you may then chose the service you require.

You may choose any of the following:

1. Lecture Notes

2.Past Questions and Answers

3. Publications and Articles

4. Others

Please note that the content is masked and only available on Windows OS.

We are LASU, we are GREAT
