princess shadia faced down and there was tension on Xara’s face as well.Ebere laughed lowly.
“okay ma’am I will just get the incense staff for you” Princess Akuna said and approached the glass.
she opened it.
hmmm is she really a virgin?.
A tear dropped from her eyes,
Xara rushed to her.
“ohh Akuna,your sickness again.It had arrived in full” xara said.
“look here the physician just came”
Adaeze said.
we turned and there was a middle aged woman with a box kit.
she rushed to Akuna,
then she felt her pulse.
Her face was now dull,I mean so dull.
“hnn nothing is wrong with her”
amarachi said.
I felt one of the twins prince walked away with his lips pouted so beautifully.
I knew instantly it was lotanna,he is fond of that.
“how can you say nothing is wrong with her,she had been down with fever for the past one week and is just recovering fully” the physician said.
“that’s true,her mother told me about her health issues.Someone help her to one of the royal room for medications” the queen said.
hmmm I moved out and went to akuna side so I can help her.Xara rolled her eyeballs and held Akuna’s other shoulder.
the other princess walked away,
they don’t want the queen to call on them.
“who do you want to touch?”
Akuna asked,harshly.
the queen turned,I hastily grabbed her stuffs.
she gave out her hands when the w
queen turned.
“where exactly should I touch?”
I still don’t understand why she hates me..the queen walked away.
“I will find someone else to take the incense,Amarachi is still young and not up to eighteen” I heard her saying.
I cleaned my hands on my wrapper and still wanted to help Akuna.
“my sleeve,don’t touch my hand” she said and I held her sleeve till we got to the royal room,
I dropped her stuffs on one of the heavenly couch.
The other princess came in.
“are you sure you can still attend the feast?” one of the princess asked.
what am I still doing here….
I went out and passed that gkadd where the incense staff was then I got to the maids suite.
Rhoda, Vicky,chioma and dumebi rushed to me.
Ife tell us
is she really sick or a plan to escape there?.
“but wait,she is sick does not mean she can’t still take the incense staff” Ebere said.
“hmm that Akuna suppose to be an actress,I know she had been deflowered’ dumebi said.
“so who will get the incense staff and the queen won’t allow someone poor to get it.I really wish I can help but am just 17 not even up to 18”
Rhoda the youngest said.
“what do you expect from someone like Akuna- is that the person that want to marry a prince” Ebere said and we all laughed.
“Ife you’re not saying anything”.
Ebere said.
“hunnn what should I say? I don’t even know if she is faking” I said.
“does that mean there won’t be prayers for the prince in tonights feast–the incense is the gods staff of authority” chioma said.

we stopped talking and dressed for the nights feast.
Shadia’s p.o.v
I got so angry ad I look at Akuna on the bed pretending to be down with fever but I couldn’t talk right now….
if I should talk in my angry state,
Akuna and I will fight.
“you really did well,I was so scared. I mean seeing the almighty Akuna getting embarrassed in front of those poor and insulting maids.
They will laugh at us” Xara said.
“good better best actor” olamma said.
“I only got intimate with three men. Prince iyke,prince uchenna and prince chindindu” akuna said.
I got more angry.
“Akuna you’re so so irritating me, how can you- gosh this isn’t how to be a good example at all.
You’re wealthy and a princess doesn’t mean you should be senseless and wayward.I sincerely do not like these circle of friends-
it’s disgusting!!!
I said with furry.
“Shadia!!! Adaeze shouted my name.
“motivational speaker,shey your ancestors are virgins” Xara said.
“please do you wish our friend embarrassment” olamma said.
Akuna stood up and silenced them with her hands up.
then she faced me..
“look who is preaching to me…
who are you? she clapped her hands.
isn’t this shadia!
oh my god you wouldn’t have become a princess if your mother wasn’t a prostitute, she lured your father!

I passed the hall where the feast would take place.

I smiled.”am not leaving”.
I strolled around the compound with a glass of wine in my hand.
I heard the securities telling a girl that she can’t enter.
“hmm sir please,she is my sister she came to see me” a voice that sound like music said and the girl was allowed in.
Turns out to be ngozi.
“could you wait for me in the maids quarter,I was sent on an errand” Ife said.
“sure” ngozi replied.
ife approached where I was standing with a basket filled with coral beads.
waoow,she’s so beautiful!.
her skin glittered even though it was dark,her fairness still lit up darkness.
why isn’t she dressed as a maid?.
anyways,these cloth suite her.
if only she’s not a maid.

Lotanna’s p.o.v .
Jedinna and i dressed fully as a king.
I still had to pull out most of the custumes.To be sincere I don’t like it at all,am just wearing it because of the incense and would take it off soon….
“I still haven’t found a virgin”
mother said.
“why not call Akuna,she’s sick doesn’t mean she can’t touch the incense” Jedinna said.
I walked away and entered my room, the first thing I pulled out was the crown.I feel like i toon off a huge load away from my head.
I can’t imagine dressing like this.
Soon enough,the intercom beeped.
I checked the projector,
it was Amarachi and Ife…
I opened the door,they both entered.I got carried away by ife’s beauty.
aaah this girl won’t kill me.
“mother said you should select coral beads” Amarachi said and left,
it’s actually a prank to bring Ife for me…
I watched her drop the basket,
then we stared into each other’s eyes, no words..
“the beads” she said..
I blinked my lashes.
“select for me” I said and watched her as a movie.
the way I actually plan to love her is exceptional .
spoil her till money has no value in her eyes .
spoil her for myself,
won’t stop till the world hear her voice.

I stared at her.
“I will just wear it for you” she looked away and come closer to wear the neck bead for me, I kissed her lips…
the bead dropped from her hand,

I wait and wait and wait,
Adeife wasn’t coming…..
I wanted her to drop the incense here so it would save my mom the stress of looking for a virgin.
I was almost giving up Ife would come,the inner door opened and there she was with the incense.
“nobody saw me,this is it!
“where should I dropped it?” she asked innocently.
I couldn’t comprehend my happiness as I quickly went to her.
“drop it on that place–”
I said.
The door opened,
Ife got so scared as she quickly hide behind my back.
