CELEBRITY FAVOURITISM SEASON 2 EPISODE 2

The day went from bright to dark as Erick was
called by Charles, cause he suddenly have this
shoot for a certain brand. And he had to leave.
I kissed him goodbye at the door and that was it.
I went back to my room to have another rest, it’s
been weeks since I’ve been able to rest like this.
Lying on my bed with my phone on my face, I
decided to check Mahnline’s daily pop news to
see what’s trending in this city of ours.
Of course Daniel was number one in what’s
trending in Mahnline and then Erick, then
Giselle before me.
Giselle is an actress, she suddenly became
popular around the time I rose up too. And now
she was suddenly stared in this new movie that
is taking the city by storm and honestly she’s
pretty good. I’ve seen her movies and she’s good
hands down.
My phone suddenly vibrated in my hand before
it starts to ring.
Annie.
“Hey girl” I smiled into the phone.
“Uhh where the heck are you? I’ve been standing
by your door for ages now and ringing the
doorbell and years to come and no one has
bothered to even open the door” Annie expound
and I quickly jumped down from my bed and ran
downstairs…
I cut the call as I got to the door. I opened it and
Annie was standing there, dressed in a cute
dress, her hair dyed with blue, though we like
talk most of everyday on the phone, make
Videochats, this is the second time I’ll be seeing

her in person this year. Wow. Talking about my
career it’s made me face a whole different
direction and has taken a lot of my time.
“So because we’re done with school, you went
ahead with blue?” I said, kind of admiring her
hair.
“It’s Daniel’s signature hairstyle, what do you
expect” she rolled her eyes. *this story is written

Annie, a fan of Daniel and forever will be.
“And sorry about waiting, my grandma and
auggie must be busy with something they didn’t
hear the doorbell, I can’t believe I didn’t hear it
either” I said and opened the door wider for her
to come in.

Annie and I both sat on my bed and she took her
bag off her body.
She looked at my hair, “Who would have thought
super dark black and purple streak would be
your signature look, I wanted to go purple but
no, I went with Daniel instead, Daniel is the new
blue” Annie smiled.
I laughed “No kidding you love Daniel to the
core”.
“Well yeah, but look at my lockscreen wallpaper”
she said bringing her phone to my face.
“That’s me” I smiled.
“Yep, Daniel had to step down a bit immediately
my best friend became a star, not anyone but me,
I’m your number one fan” Annie gave a wink.
I laughed. “No kidding, so if anyone ask, me or
Daniel, who do you love the most?”
“That’s a tough question” she said dramatically
placing her hand on her chin.
“What? That wasn’t supposed to be a tough
question Annie, me or Daniel? You’re not
supposed to think about that, you should just
say me” I yelled.
“Just calm down, I can love you both equally, I
don’t have to pick you know” she smiled.
I threw a pillow at her face. “Some best friend
you are”.

“I Was just joking” she laughed throwing back the
pillow at me.
“So… How’s Erick?” Annie asked. “Oh yeah, I
need not to ask that, cause he’s fine, I’ve been
following you four on social media, I’m y’all
biggest fan, I’m kind of like the president of you
four fanclubs” Annie said proudly.
“US four?” I asked.
“Yeah, you, Erick, Daniel and Giselle” Annie
replied.
“You follow Giselle too?” I asked.
“Yeah, I follow what trends and Giselle is also the
talk of town like you three”
“Wow, you’re the best human being on earth” I
smiled.
“Of course, I know that” she primed.
“Anyways, are you getting ready for prom?” she
asked.
“Prom?” I looked up at her.
“Yes prom!” her eyes widen at me and I gasped.
“Oh my God, I totally forgot about prom”.
“So, you’re done with highschool and you expect
them to let you go without having prom? I’ve
been looking forward to prom since kindergarten,
it’s that one night when magical things happen”
Annie said daydreaming.
“This is your first and last prom and yet you’re
talking like you’ve been to prom before.” I
laughed.
“Well at least I’ve heard stories from our seniors
and hearing them all talk about prom is just so
magical” Annie gave a sigh and I couldn’t help
but laugh.
“You’re crazy, you know that”.
“Everyone’s crazy and prom is in two weeks, and
I don’t care if you’re a celebrity or not, it’s your
highschool prom, if you happen to have a concert
that day, your shifting the concert, cause I
already imagined us both walking into prom
looking glamourous in our dresses, so do not
dare ruin this for me” Annie threatened and I
laughed “Don’t worry I won’t.”
“Talk about dresses, I tried online shopping the
other day and you won’t believe this dress I
found, it was gorgeous but my entire savings that
I’ve saved all my life wasn’t enough for this dress,
so I had to get a cheaper one.” Annie sighed.
“Really? At least you’ve gotten a dress, look at
me, I forgot we had a prom coming up” I said and
she laughed.
“So June, I need your help” Annie said moving
closer to me.
“with?”
“So, there’s this… There’s this boy…
She smiled.
“oooohhhh… I said teasing wiggling my brows at
her and she hit my hand.
“Just listen” she rolled her eyes eating her smile
and holding back her flushed face.
“Okay” I laughed.
“His name is Andy and he’s been like kind of
flirty with me these days, and last night, he told
me he has feelings for me” Annie smiled.
“Wow” I said.
“Yeah, wow… I never really thought a boy would
like… You know… Like me, I’ve always been the
crusher… But now it’s the other way round”
Annie stated.
“Why wouldn’t a boy like you, you’re pretty” I
rolled my eyes.
Her face went flushed immediately and she
pushed me causing me to land on the pillows
behind me.
“If you say things like that, I can’t help but feel
like my head is going to explode” she stated shyly
and my laughter filled the whole room.
“Stop laughing, so what do you think I should
do?” Annie asked.
“I don’t know, a boy confessed to you, if you feel
the same way, your answer will be yes I guess, so
do you feel the same way?” I asked.
“I don’t know” Annie faked cried and I smiled.
“Well just give yourself time to know how you
really feel about him” I expound and Annie
nodded.

Annie forced me to shop for my dress online.
And before we know it we’re adding a blue dress
to my cart.
I was like so glad Annie came over, I was super
glad, I was more than glad, cause after Erick left
I felt Lonley, but Annie just showed up like an
angel.
I wished she could stay over like a sleepover, but
her mom would literally Bury her alive, she has
never had a sleepover before with me but the
thought alone made my tummy dance.
Annie left after she had lunch with me in my
room, and I just wished she wouldn’t leave.
I went back to my room and just like an
unknown spell, I fell asleep. I’ve worked myself
too much I really needed good time sleep.

— I woke up and the smell of sweet and different
delicacies filled my nostrils and I went downstairs
immediately. It was my grandma’s cooking and
seriously it was the best.
I had dinner with my family and went back to
my room. I suddenly got a call from Hannah.
She suddenly asked how I was and all and
reminded me of my career.
“You’re planning to release an album soon you
know that” Hannah said.
“Yeah I know that” I sighed.
I just got only a day off which is today.
“Good, you know we have to get to work
tomorrow right?” Hannah said.
I sighed. “Yeah sure, if only I can just rest
tomorrow too”.
“Don’t worry when this album is released, you’ll
be taking more than rests this time” Hannah said
and I could feel her smile.
“Okay, I’ll be in DH in tomorrow” I said as I cut
the call.
It was getting late and the house was pretty
quiet. Ella barks could be heard from her dog
house downstairs.
I was feeling a bit… Lonley.
How come?
When we used to live in the rooftop house, I’ve
never felt like this before.
Is it because of the small confided space we used
to live, cause even if it was small, we all felt
connected being in different rooms, and in here
it’s just so big and our rooms are just so far away
or is it that I haven’t really adapted to this place.
I looked around my room, quietly seated on my
bed, I was bored, I was Lonley and didn’t even
know what to do.
And at that moment Erick called
Oh thank God.
“Hey, June” I heard him say and also heard
Daniel’s voice behind him.
“HI” I couldn’t help my smile.
“You sound beat, what’s wrong?” Erick asked.
“Nothing, just glad to hear your voice.” I said
sincerely.
“So you missed me that badly?” his cunning voice
sounded through the phone and I rolled my eyes
even though he couldn’t see me but still yet I
wasn’t able to control my smile and the relief I
felt.
“Yeah, so badly I almost walked to DH by foot to
see you” I Lied and he laughed.
“So you’re going home right?” I asked.
“Yeah, my body aches, seriously my new dance
steps and teacher are a no joke” Erick laughed.
“You complain so much about dancing, but
suddenly on stage you dance so well like it wasn’t
so hard for you” I smiled.
“Well I guess that’s just me” he said.
“So you’re going home right?” I asked.
“Uh, that will be the second time you’ll be asking
me that” Erick said.
“I know right? It’s just that…
“Just what?”
“I know you’re tired, your body currently aches,
and I know it’s a bit selfish for me to want you to

come over right now, I want to know if you can
make it?” I said and bit my lips.
“Is that how much you missed me?” the ornery in
his tone made me smile.
“Can you come over or not?” I snarled.
“It’s just seven forty five, I don’t see why not” i
could feel his smile already.
“Thank you” I breathed out.
I hung up and fall back on my bed.
Finally, time to kiss this loneliness goodbye.

It was already thirty minutes and Erick wasn’t
here, it takes thirty minutes drive from my house
to DH, and still yet, he’s not here.
I sighed impatiently and I crawled down my bed
and went down the stairs.
I sat by the door patiently waiting for Erick.
Goodness, what has gotten into me. I laughed at
myself for desperately wanting to see him, but
still it’s not a bad thing.
I suddenly got excited when I heard the door bell
ring and I quickly stood up and opened the door.
“Whoa! That was fast” Erick laughed seeing me.
“I was waiting by the door” I said as I wrapped
my hands around his body.
“How June of you” he said making both of laugh.
“I wasn’t laughing because it was funny, I was
laughing thinking of how stupid it was” I said to
Erick.
“way to break my heart” he sighed and he kissed
my cheeks causing me to smile.
“It’s cold out here, let’s head inside” Erick said
and I nodded and let go of him.
We both walked inside and shut the door behind
us.
