CELEBRITY FAVOURITISM SEASON 2 EPISODE 20

– June’s pov Continues –
–
The sound of beeping sounds, the smell of antiseptics, the
loud distance voices I was hearing.
My head and heart pounded at the same rhythm.
I slowly opened my eyes but everything was moving so fast
I had to close them again.
I was fully aware of myself but suddenly something was
fading, I didn’t know what it was, it was fading and for some
reason I needed to hold on to it but I couldn’t reach it.

I opened my eyes to see myself in a white room, it was
white and bright and the lights were beautiful. The antiseptic
smell made me realise I was in a hospital.
Huh?
How come.
I slowly turned to my side to see my grandma in tears, the
bright sunlight lit up on my baby’s brother face as his eyes
was also red due to the tears.
Oh my God, how Auggie has grown so much.
“She’s awake” my grandma announced.
“Oh great, June…” I heard a familiar voice and I turned to
my side to see… Annie?
Why does she look so different, and pretty and older, with
blue hair?
I tried to speak but I couldn’t, I mean my vocals were still
there but I just couldn’t speak.
I noticed an older lady standing beside Annie.
Who Is she?
“Oh my God I’m so glad you’re awake June” the lady said
and sniffed her handkerchief, her tears making me feel bad
for her. Why are they all crying?
“June, it’s me Hannah!” the lady stated wiping her eyes.
Hannah? Who’s Hannah?
I don’t think I know her before.
The door suddenly opened and a boy walked in. He was
pretty, very pretty. His hair was black with some kind of red
streaks, he was putting on a blue shirt and Jean shorts.
“Found the room, Erick… She’s in here!” The boy
announced and his voice echoed through the whole room.
Another pretty boy walked into the room, wearing a black
shirt and black pants
He and his friend shared the same heights their looks were a
bit competitive, but still the boy in blue…
Who are all these people? Do I even know them?.
The boy in black shirt walked up to my grandma and slowly
walked up to me.
“June.” he breathed.
Okay.. He knows my name.
And I guess his name must be Erick since his friend called
him that earlier.
“So glad you’re awake June” the boy in blue added and I
wondered what his name was.
“Uhh” I finally manage to say.
Yes finally I feel like I can speak again.
“Uh… Grandma.” I said and everyone gathered me.
“Yes dear.” my grandma gasped happily looking at me.
“W…wha..
I breathed in and out.
“What’s going on? ” I asked, my voice was low but could be
heard very clearly.
“You had an accident, June but don’t worry you’ll be just
fine okay, I promise you that, you’ll be fine” my grandma
said and a single tear dropped from her eyes.
An accident?Why can’t I remember it?
Was it that bad? That it brought everyone and this two boys
including this lady to tears?
Well according to me, I feel fine, my head kind of hurt a bit
but aside from that, I’m fine. I am perfectly fine.
The door sprung open and a doctor walked in. His white
overall almost sweeping the floor, he was super short.
“Uh… Ma’am… About her.. can you come with me please”
the doctor said to my grandma and my grandma nodded
before standing up.
“I’ll come too” the Hannah lady added.
“I’ll come too” the boy in black shirt said and they doctor
gave them all a look before telling them to walk outside with
them.

Now it was just me, August, Annie and the charming boy in
blue. Is he my friend. Since when do I make friends with
boys and as pretty as this.
“You’re okay now right?” August asked cleaning his tears.
I slowly smiled. “Of course i am” I said lowly.
“So that means, all this injections will be taking away from
your body, the bandage around your head and legs will be
taken away from your body and you’ll come home with us
right?” Auggie sniffed.
“Yes i will” I smiled.
My legs were bandaged? How come I don’t feel my legs that
much. I feel them though, but at the same time it’s like
they’re not even there.
Auggie seemed to be more emotional as tears still dropped
from his eyes.
“I’m fine August” I said with a small smile.
“You don’t look fine, and you still don’t sound fine” Auggie
added.
Taking every bit of my vocal I said. “I promise you Auggie
I’m fine and before you even know it, we’re back at the
rooftop house climbing those stairs you hate so much”.
“Rooftop house?” Auggie repeated and looked at Annie.
“What are you talking about June, you guys don’t live there
anymore” Annie stated.
We don’t?
“Then if not there, where do we live now, we don’t have
enough money to move” I stated and my head starts to hurt
really badly from all the talking.
But what in the world are they talking about.
“You don’t remember?” Annie looked at me awkwardly.
“Okay June do you remember me?” the blue shirt boy asked.
No I don’t.
I shook my head Negatively at him.
“Its me Daniel” he said and gave himself a tap.
Daniel? Why doesn’t the name ring a bell.
“I don’t… I don’t know…. You… Sorry” I said and he sighed.
“Wow” Annie breathed out and a tear dropped from her
eyes.

*ERICK’S POV*
I was done taking my bath that morning when I recieved a
call from Annie.
“Yes…” I said into the phone.
“Erick!” her voice shook and I paused.
Is she crying?
“Annie is there something wrong?” I asked.
“June…” she breathed out.
“Yes June.. What happened to June?” I was kind of getting
scared.
“June is at the hospital right now, she got into an accident.”
Annie breathed out and my soul almost left my body.
“W…what hospital?” I tried to talk calmly but I couldn’t.

I stormed out of my room and as i was rummaging through
the living room couch for my car keys remembering where I
put them last night, Daniel walked out of my kitchen.
“What are you looking for in such a hurry?” he asked.
“My frigging car keys” I said with gritted teeth.
“It’s right here.” Daniel said snitching it from the wall it was
hung. I grabbed the key from him and start to put my shoes on.
“Where are you going in such a hurry?” Daniel asked.
“June got into an accident, she’s in the hospital right now” I
said.
“Whoa… What?”
Yeah he was shocked. So was I.
The two of us ended up leaving the house together and I
suddenly didn’t care but I drove at the highest speed to the
hospital.
I got to the hospital, and without even letting the nurse at
the reception office tell us anything, we just went to find
June on our own..
Daniel found the room she was in and I quickly head there.
We both walked in the room, to see, June’s grandma,
Auggie, Hannah and Annie already in the room.
I broke into pieces when I saw June on the bed.
Her head was bandaged, under her stomach and also her
legs.
June…
“June…” I breathed out and she turned to me, no expression
on her face.
“So glad you’re awake June” Daniel breathed out and June
looked at him, she finally breathed a word and what she
asked after was.
“What’s going on?”.
Her grandma suddenly got emotional and told her she got
into an accident.
The doctor walked in and asked to talk to June’s grandma,
Hannah asked to come too and so did I.
We all walked out with the doctor and as we all stood by the
door. He adjusted his collar and cleared his throat.
“Okay so for June Peterson, she was badly injured from her
head to her stomach and her legs, so first I’ll start with her
legs, it will take like weeks for her legs to heal and for she to
start walking again, she may or may not need therapy, for
her Lower abdomen she got brutally injured there but
thankfully it’s only externally, but for now she’ll take
nothing but cold food. And for her head is the worst she hurt
her head the most and after doing a brain scan this morning
we found out she’s suddenly suffering from amnesia, but
don’t worry it’s not your regular type of retrograde amnesia
where she forgets the past and all, she clearly remembers,
she’s suffering from Dissociative amnesia, You see
dissociative amnesia is a type of amnesia Characterised by
episodic memory loss, it’s like one episode of retrograde
amnesia loss may last from an hour ago, a week ago or…
“Sorry” Hannah interrupted. “I’m lost”.
“Huh? Lost about?” the doctor asked.
“Disso what? Amnesia? Retro what? I clearly don’t speak
doctor English, and so does granny over here, so can you
please explain in words that we understand!” Hannah stated
and the doctor sighed.
“OKay our patient June, is now suffering from Dissociative
amnesia, and this… She might not recall a certain time in her
life, for example her memories might be intact but she
doesn’t remember the year twenty eighteen or twenty twelve,
or maybe she doesn’t recall what happened a week ago, or
what happened hours ago, that’s what I’m trying to say!” the
doctor said.
“Oh, you mean she doesn’t remember a certain time in her
life right now?” June grandma’s asked and the doctor
nodded.
“So, how do we know what certain time she can’t
remember.!” I asked.
“I don’t know, we’ll just have to find out, and if we do find
out, we can’t force her to remember for her memories will
come back, it might take time but it’s better than forcing it
in, for example there’s a door knob and there’s a red button
at the bottom of the Knob, you suddenly need to turn the
knob to the right to touch the knob and when you do that it
goes smoothly cause it’s the right way to go, but the red
bottom is closer to when you turn the Knob to the left, but
then when you also turn the Knob to the left, it’s faster but
has cracks and the knob breaks when it gets to the red button
using the left side. So letting June recall her memories
herself is turning the knob to the right and meeting the red
button even if it’s the farthest but the smoothest, and
mentioning about her lost memories means forcing her to
recall and that’s like turning to the left side of the Knob to
meet the red button, it’s the closest but after meeting with
the red button it got damaged, so you could hurt her Brain
by forcing her memories, you know June has a lot going on
in her life right now, she’s a celebrity and all that, and when
it comes to amnesia like this patient tends to forget the most
stressful part of their lives.” the doctor explained and I
sighed.
When did it all come down to this?
Poor June.
“understood” June grandma said and the doctor smiled.
“Great, she’s okay but let’s just check with what she’s
missing on” the doctor stated and we all walked in.
Everyone turned to us and the doctor held a smile on his
face and walked up to June…
June suddenly turned to her grandma.
“Grandma, what… What are they all talking about, they are
all saying we don’t live in the rooftop house anymore.”
June’s voice was low.
“No, we do… They’re just confused” June grandma said and
gave auggie a look.
Wait. If June recalls Annie, her grandma, auggie, but don’t
remember that they’ve moved.
That means…
“Yeah, they’re just confused, so what did you do yesterday?”
I asked holding my fist.
“I… Uhm.. I just went to deliver news paper” June replied
and I couldn’t breathe anymore…
That means she doesn’t recall me, or Daniel, or Hannah or
anything that happened at the middle last year and this year,
so she doesn’t recall her celebrity life too! ”
