** June pov **
I don’t know why the boy in black asked me what I did
yesterday, I don’t recall all, but I know I delivered news
paper and stuff.
“Annie, Daniel can I have a word with you, and you too
Auggie” the boy in black said and the Daniel Annie nodded
before working out with him, and Auggie behind them.
“How are you feeling Miss June.” the doctor smiled at me.
“Fine” I smiled. “I don’t recall how I got into an accident
but I’m fine, though I feel a little pain in my head but I’m
fine” I replied.
“How your words are so detailed, I like patients like you”
the doctor said with a smile scribbling something down on
his clipboard I guess.
“So, can you feel your legs?” he asked.
I looked down at my legs, “I do feel them a bit, but I can’t
lift them up.” I said trying to lift them up.
“Don’t try to lift them, they’ll heal and also what about here”
the doctor asked pointing at my stomach.
“I feel fine there though” I said and the doctor nodded with a
smile.
“Well then June, with our best hospitality, your bright
charisma and sharp voice, you’ll be fine in no time” the
doctor smiled.
“Okay” I smiled too.
My grandma lips curved into a smile.
“Okay then, you’ll be getting shots later, I’ll leave you with
your family and friends then.” the doctor smiled before
walking out.
I turned to my grandma to see her still sobbing.
“I’m fine grandma” I said to her.
“I know” she sniffed.
“Can this bed actually like go a little higher?” I asked and
the Hannah lady nodded.
“Let me help with that” she said and walked up to my bed
and after after making the bed lift me up a bit she smiled at
me.
Now I could see the whole room clearly.
“Thank you” I smiled.
“No problem June” Hannah smiled at me.
She’s no nice, I wonder where or how she got to know me.
“So Hannah right… I don’t recall seeing you before.” I
stated…
“Wow” Hannah smiled.
“Look at you talking like you’ve got no bandages on your
head or legs, I love bold fighters like you” Hannah said and I
smiled at her.
“And besides, I’m a friend of your grandma” Hannah said
and she and my grandma shared a small glance…
The door opened and the boys, Annie and my baby brother
walked in back into the room and Auggie seemed to be in
more tears, but he hid that immediately he saw me staring at
him and stood behind her grandma.
Annie and I made eye contact and she smiled at me, I
smiled at her too.
“It hasn’t been a day and it looks like you’re already getting
better” Annie smiled at me.
“Yes I do feel better, but Annie” I called.
“Yeah.”
“Won’t the school complain, you have blue hair” I said and
she bit her bottom lip, she glanced at both of the boys before
looking at me.
“It’s a wig. A super tight wig that I’ll take off after I get
home” Annie smiled and I nodded internally.
“You must be hungry, I’ll go prepare some food for you” my
grandma said grabbing auggie’s hand.
“Come on, we’ll come back” my grandma said and after
giving everyone a look in the room she walked out of the
room with Auggie by her side.
Annie sat down on the bed and gave me a careful light
hug…
I laughed lowly .”What?” I said into her ear.
“I’m just giving you one of my get well soon hug” she
replied and I smiled even more.
Annie disengage the hug and the Daniel and the other guy
who I still don’t know his name sat on the cushion beside my
bed. Leaving Hannah on her feet.
The boys were clearly looking at me and I was feeling kind
of show. I turned to Annie.
“Who are they?” I whispered to her but the boys kind of
heard it.
“I’m Daniel Anderson” the boy in blue said, making his
friend glance at him.
“And… Am Erick.” the boy in black said sadly.
Erick.
“Okay, well nice to meet you both” I smiled.
“Yeah nice to meet you too” Erick said gazing at me.
That gaze.
I looked away immediately. It was weird. How in the world
did I make friends with two hotties.
The air seemed quiet and since nobody said anything, I
didn’t either.

[] ERICK POV []
Watching my girlfriend talk on the sick bed and introducing
myself to her was more painful than placing my hand in hot
oil.
The way she took her eyes away when she met her gaze, it
shattered me. How it hurts, I can’t tell her I’m her boyfriend,
cause she’d want to ask how we started dating and then it
will lead to a lot of things and she might want to try
remembering things and ends up hurting her head. And
Giselle has done enough I don’t want to cause more
damages.
I wonder how the incident happen, and the fact that she
doesn’t recall.

She’s still the same June but she felt like a different person.
Everyone remained quiet and I suddenly recieved a
message on my phone. It was my father.
** I heard June got Into an accident, is she okay? Where is
she, tell me the name of the hospital, and I’ll be there** I
squeezed my phone In my hand and sighed heavily and
everyone turned to me.
Mr Dhousten coming here, will make June wonder who he
is and that’s like violating the doctor’s rule. But we should at
least tell her she has amnesia.
“The fact that we’re awfully quiet is really strange” June
suddenly said and I turned to her.
“Well want me to sing you a song?” Annie asked.
“You have a terrible singing voice” I smiled.
“Thanks, best compliment I’ve received all year”.
“But to be honest I really love this blue haired wig on you,
it’s beautiful and it suits you perfectly” June said to Annie.
“Thanks, someone actually said it really didn’t suit me”
Annie said and I know she’s referring to me.
“Well the person’s wrong” June smiled.
If only I can just make her recall her memories. Like she
has so much going on in her life right now, for example her
career.
And the doctor said patients with dissociative amnesia tend
to forget the part of their life that caused them stress.
Was her career so stressful to her? Was meeting me so
stressful to her.
I didn’t know when my hand suddenly reached for hers and
I held her girls fingers into mine.
She looked at me, eyes widen and a little shock and slowly
she starts to slip her hand from my grip and looked away
awkwardly.
Annie shot me a girl.
So what? I’m supposed to act like we have nothing going
on? What kind of torture is this.
Hannah suddenly gasped and we all turned to her. She
smiled at June and turned to me. “come with me for a
second now Erick” Hannah said and I nodded before
standing up.
I glanced at June but she looked away, it’s just the way she
kept looking away and it hurts every single time.
I walked out with Hannah and immediately she closed the
door she breathed. “Your father just texted me, he’s coming
here he just found out the hospital adress, I need you to go
talk to him, he’s still at DH and look” Hannah said and
placed her phone in front of my faceI read what’s on her phone front screen and my eyes widen
when I saw a blurred hospital room and the headline.

“How in the world did this get out.?” I asked.
“Examples, the doctors around” Hannah replied.
“You, go stop your father from coming here, cause him
coming here he might attract paparazzi and we don’t want
anything to trigger June’s head.” Hannah said and I nodded.
“And I’ll go meet with June’s grandmother, june incident
wasn’t an accident, her grandma think so though, she thinks
someone wanted to hurt June intentionally” Hannah said.
“What? Really?” my eyes widen.
“Yes, she said she was getting worried when she sent June to
the grocery store not so far from their house and when June
wasn’t coming back she had to go check it out herself, she
even said on her way she kept ringing June, but June wasn’t
picking up. She said the street was dark and quiet no cars or
people were around but on the floor she could see as
something lit up, she trailed the light and it led her to June’s
phone on the floor, she said she freaked out when she saw
the scattered grocies on the floor and finally she saw June
lying lifelessly beside a fire hydrant, her head released blood
and it seemed like it crashed with the fire hydrant and her
legs were twisted in a way wasn’t really pleasant to look at”
As Hannah explained this, I was trying not to break down,
this is all just too much for June.
“And… And what makes June grandma thinks it’s not an
accident” I asked.
“she said immediately she started to call 911 something
suddenly lit up and it were the front lights of a car. And
immediately the car left the scene, so what she was trying to
say was that if the car has been sitting on the street for a
while, there must have been someone Inside and maybe the
person must have witnessed June’s incident, but the person
didn’t bother to call an ambulance and even the police, the
person just hid his or her car in the dark and watch June
bleed to death or maybe the person was the one who
intentionally hit June”. As Hannah explained this none
other than Giselle crossed my mind…
Oh if it happens to be her, she is so dead.
“I have to go now, I need to go elsewhere after meeting my
father” I stated and Hannah nodded.
“And I need to get to the bottom of this, June might be
clueless but we’re not” Hannah stated and we both split ways
and walked out of the hospital.

*JUNE’S POV*
With just Annie, Daniel and I in the room, the room seemed
to be quiet, it’s been ages since I landed in the hospital. I
hate hospitals. You can do less and just sit on the bed…
I looked around.
I need my phone, I hate this quietness, at least a little song
from Maria Li.
“Where’s… My phone?” I asked.
“I don’t… I don’t think it’s here.” Annie said looking around.
“What do you want to do with it, you can use mine” Annie
said giving me hers.
“You got a new phone?” I smiled taking the phone from her.
“Yeah ages ago– I mean just last night” Annie cleared her
throat.
“Okay that’s great” I smiled.
I paused when I saw Daniel as the wallpaper on the phone,
he had one of those earset microphone and it seemed like he
was on stage.
“Is… Is this you?” I asked Daniel showing it to him.
He glanced at the phone then at Annie and then back at me.
“Yes this is me..” he said.
“Whoa. You’re a singer?” I asked.
Annie tapped me and smiled.
“He’s a big time celebrity, bigger and brighter and then your
all so maria li” Annie mocked.
It’s always her going with my maria li.
“Wait, is he the Daniel Anderson you always tell me about?”
I gasped.
“Wait? You remember that?” Annie eyes was wide open.
“Yeah, why wouldn’t I, that’s like two days ago” I shook my
head and she frowned.
“Yeah, yes it is”.
“So what is a big time celebrity doing here in the hospital” I
whispered to Annie.
She just shrugged. “Don’t ask me!”
I glared at me and she smiled.I turned to Daniel. “You’re one of DH entertainment artist
right?” I smiled.
“Wow, I wonder what it will be like to be an artist under
DH, I mean it’s my dream, but you can’t actually dream
when your legs are this way” I said and gave a small laugh.
Annie suddenly started to cry.
“Annie!” I turned to her.
“What’s wrong?” I asked.
Her voice became even louder and Daniel Anderson tapped
her back.
What’s wrong?
