“Enjoy your meal, Ma’am,” Kim said carrying the tray and was about to step away when Sara stopped her.
The new girl stared at Kim speechlessly. She was finding it hard to believe Landon’s maid was this hot lady.
“Where are you going?” Sara asked looking at Kim.
“To the kitchen Ma’am. To clear some stuff.” Kim responded smiling.
“Why? Come and join us.” Sara said and Kim furrowed her brows.
“what? Ma’am, I don’t have to right to sit down at Mr. Landon’s dining table when he is eating. It was stated in the rules of the house.” Kim rapped and Sara smiled.
“I was the one that gave birth to the one who set those rules. So I can do whatsoever I want to do.” Sara muttered while Landon just glared at the both of them.
He knew his mother was up to something.
First, her sudden kindness to Kimberly. Then the new girl, and now asking Kim to sit at the table.
“What are you planning mom?” Landon thought still looking at him, mother.
“So go and bring your food. I need you here.” She said and Kim looked at Landon to know what he felt about it.
She thought it would be another test from his mother. Maybe she wanted to see if she would agree to it without the consent of her Son.
“Mr. Landon, can I?” Kim asked as politely as possible making Landon smirk.
“Why is she acting so nice and sweet in front of mom?” he thought with a smile on his face making Kim arch her brow in anger.
“My mother already told you. She can make the rules around here. Why are you still asking me?” Landon asked reaching for the cutlery.
“You are still my boss sir. It will be a disrespect on my side if I agree to Ma’am without your consent while you are sitting right here. The correct thing is to ask you if I can.” Kim explained making Sara smile.
The new girl Abigail stared at them uncomfortably, she was hungry but couldn’t ignore them and focus on the food.
She had to wait till everyone was ready to eat before she can even think about it.
“Kim, obey my mother. You obey her you obey me.” Landon said and Kim nodded smiling faintly.
“I am sorry Ma’am. I just wanted to be sure if he was going to be fine with it.” Kim uttered and Sara nodded.
“I understand you, and I love what you did. But next time, don’t question my authority in this house.” She said calmly with a smile making Kim feel at ease.
“I won’t. And I am sorry again.” Kim said and Sara shook her head.
“it’s fine. You should go bring your food now.” She said to Kim and Kim smiled walking back to the kitchen.
Landon glared at her as she walked. She already changed the cloth she wore to the hospital and was already in her tight uniform.
Landon couldn’t help but stare at her beautifully curved backside. Landon’s mother smiles widely as she saw Landon stare at Kim.
Abigail kept waiting for Sara to eat so she could start too. She was hungry and that was what was affecting her. All they did wasn’t her business.
Sara noticed the way she looked at spoke up in surprise.
“Abigail, why are you not eating?” She asked in surprise.
“Nothing Ma’am. I just wanted to wait for eternally to start eating before I start.” She said sweetly and Landon scoffed.
A part of him kept telling him that she was just pretending. He took few glances at her and noticed she looked so hungry.
“You are hungry. You can eat up.” Landon said and she looked at him.
“No, it’s fine. I can wait.” She said and Landon sighed.
She was boring to him. He knew if it was Kim, she would have started eating. For some reason, he preferred Kim’s arrogant behavior to Abigail’s gentle acts.
“Eat up,” Landon said adamantly and Sara nodded in agreement too.
“he doesn’t want you to go hungry. Eat up.” Sara uttered and She smiled.
“Thank you.” She said picking up her cutlery and served out her pasta.
Kimberly walked back to the dining table carrying her food and stopped abruptly after noticing there were just two chairs.
One next to Sara, and the other next to Landon.
“Sara it is.” She thought walked to where Sara sat and sat next to her with a beam on her face.
She noticed the new girl was eating already and didn’t bother to serve out the rest of the plates.
Kim grabbed Sara’s plate and picked up the big fork as she began to dish out the food.
“Thank you, Kim,” Sara said loving her even more. Though it was Kim’s responsibility, she noticed she did it without thinking twice. She knew the right things to do, and the right words to say at the right time.
She dropped the plate after adding some sauce to it. The aroma was breathtaking and Sara couldn’t wait to dig in.
After that, she picked Landon’s plate, and without them knowing, the back of her hand brushed his fingers and Kim felt this super hot sensation run down her spine.
Her lips parted as she pulled the plate away and Landon glared at her.
“Sara noticed again!!”
Her focus was always on both of them.
“Abigail, don’t you think it would be amazing if you served my son?” Sara asked as Kim almost poured the pasta into Landon’s plate.
“Oh yes. My bad.” She said grabbing the plate from Kimberly. She moved the plate close to the pot of pasta.
She began to dish it out and when she felt it was enough she stopped and added some sauce.
“that won’t be enough for him. He would need more.” Kim said and Abigail looked at her, and then at Landon.
“is it true?” she asked and Landon smiled.
It was true, but he didn’t want to show Kim she was right, not when his mother has been acting so weird.
“No, it is not. This is perfect.” He said collecting the plate from her and Kim furrowed her brows.
“If he doesn’t eat so much, why did he eat so many pancakes?” She thought knowing she was right. But she decided to keep mute.
She needed to play nice in front of his mom to avoid losing her job.
They all began to eat and Abigail was almost done.
There was an awkward silence among them, and all they could hear was the fork hitting the glass plates.
“So…” Sara said breaking the silence. They all looked up to look at her.
“What are your plans today?” She asked Landon.
“Nothing. I will be home resting.” He responded drinking water.
“Well, you can rest tomorrow. Today you need to take Abigail out.” Sara said and Kim almost choked on her food making her cough.
“Are you okay?” Sara asked and she nodded grabbing a glass of water to drink.
“I need to take her out? You are making it sound like it’s a must.” Landon stated and
Sara smiled.
“it’s no must. I just want you guys to have fun and by so doing know each other well.” She said and Landon and Kim exchanged looks.
“don’t tell me you are going.” Kim thought speechlessly.
