Kim rushed out of Landon’s room-shaking, she was so scared and she didn’t know what to do. She got to the living room and picked up the telephone to make an emergency phone call.

She got to the living room and picked up the telephone, she dialed 911 and waited for them to pick up.

“Hello, what is the emergency?” A woman asked from the other end of the phone.

“I need an ambulance at Landon Hernandez’s mansion. Landon just fell unconscious.” Kim uttered In haste and hung up the call.

She ran back to the room and still met Landon in that position. She was so confused that at a point she just stood and began to glare at him.

“What if he is pulling my legs? What if he just wants to see how I will react?” she asked herself. Then she remembered his pulse was faint.

“Oh, God. Landon, please stop scaring me, open your eyes.” She whimpered holding his hand.

After few minutes of touching his face and brushing his hair with her hand, she heard the siren of the ambulance close by. She sprang to her feet and rushed out of the room.

She ran to the main door and barged out of the mansion.

She saw the ambulance in front of the house already and she waved to them.

“Over here! Bring the stretcher.” Kim yelled and the nurses rushed down with the bed in their hands.

They rushed into the house following Kimberly’s lead. They pulled the bed through the stairs successfully and when they got to the top, Kim had already opened the door.

They pushed the bed in and met Landon still lying lifeless on the bed. With medical gloves In their hands, the five nurses carried Landon carefully and placed him on the bed.

They pushed him out in haste again. Kim went into his room to pick up his phone, she felt it would be later needed at the hospital.

She ran into her room to get her phone too before running to the living room again.

“Any of his family around? Are you his girlfriend?” A man which had a different robe from the nurses asked.

“His mother just left, but I can put a call across to her,” Kim uttered.

“And who are you? We need to know your status with him before you can go anywhere with him.” He stated.

“I am his girlfriend.” Kim lied. But she did have her reasons. She wanted to know what happened to Landon.

“We can’t just accept that. We would have to talk to his mother too.” He said as they both walked out of the mansion.

“Can’t we postpone this till we get to the hospital? We are delaying the ambulance.” Kim muttered and the man nodded.

He hopped into the car and Kim also followed him. She sat at the back where Landon was laid.

They began to work on him already. They first passed oxygen through his nose and other stuff Kim had no idea what they were.

The ambulance moved at great speed, but all this still didn’t seem fast enough to Kimberly.

She wished they were at the hospital already, and the doctors were working on him already.

“Could it be that he is allergic to Pasta too?” She asked herself silently.

“No, it can’t be that. He loved it and even stole the rest of it, it is not that.” Kim thought shaking her head.

“Or maybe he just doesn’t want to help me pay my debt?” She thought again and then shook her head.

“No, Landon would never do this because of money. If he wouldn’t help me, he would tell me instead.” She thought again.

“Which means he seriously fell unconscious? Oh My God.” She mumbled breaking down into tears.

She was scared for Landon and herself also. She kept thinking about a lot of things.

“What if it was the pasta? Maybe she added the wrong ingredient.”

Then she remembered he wasn’t the only one that ate It. They were four in number including her, how come Landon is the only one down.

She picked up his phone from her pockets, she wanted to call his mother. She swiped up his screen saver and saw he had a password lock on it.

“Oh no! How do I get this?” She thought trying to figure out what he would use for his phone password.

She first tried the name of his company, but that didn’t work. She decided to try his name but it still didn’t work.

She decided to try his mother’s name and Abigail’s name but all didn’t work.

“What could he have used?” she asked herself and then the ambulance stopped.

“Are we at the hospital already?” she asked and they nodded.

“Yes.” They responded and the door opened. She climbed down the vehicle and walked to the main entrance of the hospital.

She stood under the shed waiting for the nurses to push Landon in.

“Have you called his mother?” The doctor asked again.

“I am yet to. I am trying to unlock his phone but I am not getting his password.” Kim said and the man furrowed his brows.

“Are you not his girlfriend? You should know his password.” He said and she sighed.

“I don’t do anything on his phone, so I don’t need or have to know his password.” She replied feeling frustrated already.

“Can’t you be the password? Some men love using their partner’s name for their password.” He said and Kim scoffed.

“That is the last thing that would ever happen. He can never use my name as his password. Who am I? His maid!” She thought.

“well, you can keep trying. But I need to be inside the hospital.” He said and she bobbed. He walked into the hospital, leaving Kim where she was.

“Don’t you think you should try your name too?” Her brain asked and she scoffed again.

“That is a waste of time.” She mumbled to herself.

“Trying won’t hurt. What if it works?” The thought came again and she sighed.

“Fine.” She said swiping up the screen saver again. She typed in her full name “Kimberly” but it still didn’t work.

“I am so stupid to think it would work.” She thought shaking her head and walking into the hospital.

She traced the ward where they took him and she saw they were already doing what they could do on him.

“Please be fine Landon.” She prayed. Though he is annoying and egocentric, she never thought of him dying or falling sick for once. She didn’t hate him.

She stood at the window watching them with worry written all over her. Suddenly, she heard the monitor next to Landon make this loud fixed sound. It wasn’t beeping anymore.

Her eyes widened knowing exactly what that sound means. She saw the doctors were disturbed and at that moment, she felt her forehead dripping. She was so sweaty that it was beginning to drench her clothes.

“Let me in!” she yelled but they couldn’t hear her from inside the operating room.

“Let me in!! I want to talk some senses into his head!” Kim yelled in anger and pain. The anger of losing him and the pain of seeing him that way.

“Ma’am you are disturbing other patients.” Some nurses said and she fell to the ground in deep tears.
