“Are you leaving?” Thea asked as she watched Cisco check himself out in the mirror.

“Don’t you want me to?” Cisco smiled and turned to face her, she sat up and replied.

“You should.”

He moved closer and held her face, he peck her lips and asked. “Do you want me to stay at home? We can cuddle all day and have some fun.”

“That would be cool but I won’t want to be the reason for your company’s bankruptcy,” she replied.

“Come on, a day off work won’t make me bankrupt,” he stated and threw his hand dramatically in the air.

“You should leave, I love you,” she pecked his cheek, going for his lips would have led to something else.

“I love you more,” he replied and reluctantly got off the bed, he grabbed his laptop and blew her a kiss which she caught before leaving the room.

Thea sighed and covered her feet with the duvet, she picked up his tab that was on the lamp table.

She went through it and eventually decided to log in and start her class, she has missed a few classes already.

About ten minutes later her phone rang, and Mavis’s name appeared on the screen.

She picked it up with a smile. “Hey.”

“Good morning, it’s a beautiful morning,” Mavis sang and Thea chuckled lightly.

“It is a beautiful morning indeed, why are you so happy?” Thea inquired.

“Guess,” Mavis replied and Thea played with her hair as she gave it a thought.

“You got your salary?” Thea guessed. “On the way,” Mavis replied.

“Bonus?”

“Nope, try something else,”

“A transfer?”

“I don’t want that, try again.”

Thea got out of bed and walked to the dressing mirror, she stared at her reflection for a long time.

“A promotion?” Thea guessed. “Yes, baby yes!” Mavis squealed at the other end.

“I am so happy for you,” Thea said. “Promotion means double salary,” Mavis giggled and hum a song.

“We should celebrate later,” Thea suggested.

“I agree, we should. Where do you want to go?” Mavis asked.

“Anywhere you can afford baby,” she replied. “I will pick you up later,” Mavis said.

“You are going to do that with a cab?” These asked and she hummed.

“You are unbelievable,” Thea mumbled and facepalm herself.

“Vin!” Mavis screamed. “What? Is he there?” Thea asked.

“No, I can invite him and then ride in his car to pick you up,” Mavis said.

“Sounds cool,” Thea replied. “I got to hang up, boss is on his way,” she cut the call before Thea could say bye.

Thea stared at her reflection for a long time, she realized she hasn’t seen Vin since her dad passed away.

“I should invite Cisco too,” she muttered and rushed back to the bed.

Flora was playing chess with Mr. King and she was horrible at it, Mrs. King helped her with the moves while she was given the honor of saying, checkmate.

Mr. Kings let them win since he loved the priceless smile on Flora’s face every time she says checkmate.

Octavia kept staring outside, she was lost in thought and was far from reality. No one bothered to bring her back since they were having so much fun too.

She hoped Greg has not changed his mind about taking them home, she missed her husband and family so much.

“Checkmate!” Flora screamed making Octavia turn to her, Mr. King had a funny face as he pretend to be sad.

Octavia never knew Mr. Kings could be so lively, even if it was going to be their last night she was happy her daughter was having a good time.

“Why are you so good? Should I come to take classes?” Mr. King asked Flora who was still rejoicing over her victory.

“I would take the tutorial money while grandma will teach you,” she blurted her plan and everyone laughed, even Octavia chuckled.

How could she speak about money at her age? The World is indeed becoming something else.

“You want money?” Mr. King asked and poke her nose, she giggled and fell into Mrs. King’s arms.

“Yes,” she replied. “What are you going to do with the money?” Mr. King asked.

“Take care of my mommy and buy a plane for myself, I can fly all over the world then,” she answered with her tiny hand demonstrating things she was going to do with the money.

“Wow, tell me Flora what do you want to become In the future?” Mrs. Kings asked getting her up.

“A flight attendant,” she answered. “Why?” Mr. King asked.

“Mom loves stories,” she said staring at her mom who was equally looking at her with the same love.

“I want to come back from every flight and tell my mom the stories of how fun it was,” she added.

“That is so nice of you my dear,” Mrs. King peck her hair and smiled.

“Come here,” Octavia opened her arms for a hug and Flora ran into it. “I love you, baby,” she muttered.

“Love you more mummy,” she replied and the door was opened.

“Can I join the hug?” Greg asked and Flora let go of Octavia, running into his arms with a smile.

Greg squatted to reach her level, and he wrapped her arms around her. He missed her so much, how could he have been dumb enough to let them go?

“Sorry,” Flora apologized and disengage from the hug. “Why are you apologizing princess?” He asked fondling her hair.

“You are mad at us,” she replied innocently and Greg raised his head to Octavia who was standing behind Flora.

Octavia squatted beside her and pat her hair, “Daddy apologized,” she said. “And I forgive him,” she smiled at Greg.

“I love you both so much,” she said and hugged the both of them.

“We love you too,” Greg replied and Mr. Kings watched with a smile that faded immediately after he remembered Allison and Cisco.

He went to the room while Mrs. Kings joined the happy reunion.

He called Allison but she didn’t pick up, he smirked as he stared into space.

He is going to make her pay if she defiled his orders, he walked out of the room and met them discussing.

Thea walked into the bar and sighted Mavis sitting between two guys, she recognized one to be Vin but the other was unknown.

“Thank God,” Mavis muttered happily as she stood up to hug Thea.

“Are you okay?” Thea asked noticing her uneasiness.

“Not really, these two have been bickering since morning,” she replied glaring at the two guys.

“Cruz,” Thea called through gritted teeth, she wished she could throw a punch in his face for what he did to Mavis.

However, Mavis decided to let things slide so she just needs to control her anger.

“Robert,” he replied. “You two know each other?” Vin asked stunned.

“Yes, I remember the jerk who broke my best friend’s heart,” she replied sitting beside Vin while Mavis sat between them.

“I am a changed person,” Victor replied. “A snake might shed its skin a thousand times but that won’t stop it from being a snake,” Thea replied.

“Why do you hate me so much?” Victor asked. “Why did you invite him?” Thea questioned Mavis instead.

“I came here with Vin but he followed,” she replied. “Are you a stalker now or what?” Thea asked.

“I just wanted to make sure she is safe,” he replied with his gaze on Vin.

“Oh, he is a good guy and he is way better than you,” Thea pointed at him.

“Hey guys,” Cisco said and they all turned to him, Thea’s smile vanished immediately she sighted smiling Chloe beside Cisco.

She waited for Cisco by his car and pleaded to go with him, she claimed it was boring at home.

Cisco had no choice but to take her along since he was going to have fun anyway.

“What are you doing here?” Victor asked the question Thea wished she could throw at her face and for the first time, she was pleased with him.

“He invited me,” Chloe replied and interlock her arms with Cisco. “I did….” Chloe interrupted Cisco, he was going to deny inviting her.

“What are you doing here?” Chloe questioned. “It’s my ex-girlfriend’s party,” he replied and tried to wrap his arms around Mavis but a glare from her sent his hand back.

“Hey Maverick,” Chloe greeted sarcastically. “It is Mavis, and I thought you died,” she replied in an unwelcoming tone.

“Oh, my bad I have other important things to think of than your name and I am alive and well,” she replied

“Mind your choice of words Chloe,” Victor warned

“You two know each other?” Thea finally asked. “Yes, he is my little brother,” Choose answered.

Cisco who was tired of the drama sat beside Thea and Chloe sat next to him.

“Let’s have some drinks,” Vin suggested.
