Thea was dumbfounded she was oblivious to what to do, what can she possibly do? Lying is useless, Cisco is meant to find out the truth.

“Hi,” Thea forced a smile. “Hi,” Cisco smiled too, he was beyond happy that he got to meet her again.

Then his mind drifted to Davis who was licking his ice cream, is he her son? He thought with a sad smile.

“Is he your son?” Cisco inquired, Thea, glanced at David and then back at him.

“Yes, thanks for finding him,” she appreciated and held Davis’s tiny hand. “Excuse us,” she tried to walk away but he stopped her.

She didn’t notice Mitchell but she did when Cisco dragged her along.

“Wait, I know I am not In the best position to ask this but can we talk?” He asked.

“Umm… I…” Thea stuttered, Sol was hungry and Vin is getting impatient. Is she going to put them all on hold?

“Please don’t say no,” he pleaded and she could see how desperate he is, she sighed and nodded slowly.

Thea paid for her groceries and send them to her house, it seems whatever she is going to discuss with Cisco is going to take a while.

They sat on the chair outside the grocery store, Thea was uncomfortable with the silence.

Cisco kept staring at her and then at Davis like he is trying to solve a puzzle.

“Is she your daughter?” Thea asked with her gaze on Mitchell, she knew Mitchell was his daughter but she wanted to get rid of the awkward silence.

The little girl was licking her ice cream with a smile, she and Davis has been doing that since they met.

“Y… Yes,” Cisco shuttered guiltily. “I see,” Thea muttered with her head bowed.

“How old is he?” Cisco asked and she raised her head. “Your son, how old is he?”

“A year and a half,” she replied and he sighed in relief. “Is… He my… Son?” He shuttered and she scoffed.

The nerve of him to call Davis his son, what right does he have to do that?

She was not mad at him, she thought it would be fine with her when he gets to meet Davis but it wasn’t like that.

She feels her blood boil as she stared at him, she couldn’t even think of dating someone else let alone having a child

But he got Chloe pregnant immediately after she left, Thea tightened her fist under the table as the urge to punch him overridden her.

“He is our son, right?” He inquired again, she wanted to yell at him but that would seem childish.

“Yes,” she replied and heard him breathe in relief, was he scared of her having a child with someone else?

“Now that you got your answer, kindly excuse us,” she stood up and tried to hold Davis but he held her wrist.

“Don’t leave yet, please,” he practically looked desperate. “What do you want Cisco?” She was forced to question.

She wanted to have a mature conversation with him but he is crossing the line, why won’t he let her be?

“I just… I am sorry,” he apologized and she was stunned, she was not expecting an apology.

“For?” She asked. “Everything, I apologize for everything I did,” he replied.

Why is he suddenly apologizing? Does he want Davis? There is no way she is giving him her son, but what does he want?

“Please forgive me, I am begging you,” he pleaded. Thea glanced at the kids that were playing, it was like the adults were invisible.

It must have been easy for them to get along because they are half-siblings.

“I hold no grudge against you, Cisco,” Thea replied. “You… don’t hate me?” He asked.

“No, why would I hate you?” She asks. “It’s only normal that you couldn’t let go of your first love, I don’t think there is something wrong with that. You are free to live your life just like I am to live mine,” she faked a smile.

She looked at her side and realized the kids were a few feet away from them.

“The kids,” she pointed at them before going to get them.

She made Mitchell sit beside Cisco and for some strange reason she wants to carry the child, perhaps it’s because she has always wanted a girl.

“I think we should take our leave, we have somewhere to be,” Thea said and picked up her purse.

“Can we talk again, some other time?” Cisco inquired. “I guess,” she forced a smile and carried Davis.

“Bye Michell,” Davis waved at Mitchell, Thea wondered how she knew her name but that was the least of her problem.

Thea could feel Cisco’s eyes on her as she put Davis in the passenger’s seat, she glanced at him before heading to the passenger seat.

“Michelle,” Davis called again with a short giggle, Thea took a glimpse of him through the reverse mirror.

“He looks happy,” she muttered to herself.

Mavis who was watching through the window smiled when she sighted Thea’s car stop, she rushed out of the apartment to the elevator.

“Be careful,” Vin who was lying on the couch cautioned.

“When did he get here?” Mavis poured sadly when she bumped into Victor who was carrying Davis.

“Mavvy,” Davis sang out of joy when he sighted Mavis’s funny face. “Yes, godson,” Mavis poke his cheek and he chuckled.

Thea had a lot on her mind so she just walked past them, she slump on the couch as soon as she got into the apartment.

“Where is Davis?” Vin asked Thea. “With Victor,” she replied.

“Huh?” He furrowed his brows and rushed out only to run into Mavis with Davis.

“Hey nephew,” Vin roughed his hair and giggled. “Hey, man,” Victor and Vin gave each other a high five while Mavis walked to the dining table with Davis in her arm.

Thea only watched as Mavis fed him, he looked so cute and her mind drifted to Cisco and Mitchell.

She wondered if Mitchell would exist if she had told him about Davis earlier.

“Thea! Didn’t I warn you not to make sure he has an appetite?!” Vin snapped when Davis stopped taking food from him.

“Thea, are you listening?” Mavis questioned when they got no response from her.

“Hey, is something wrong?” Victor asked moving closer.

Thea sat upright and forced a smile. “I ran into Cisco….. No, Davis ran into Cisco,” she shuttered

“What?!” They all exclaimed in unison. “What happened? I mean how did it happen? What did he say? Does he know the truth?” Vin asked at a time

“Calm down Vin, give her a breathing space,” Mavis cautioned. “Sorry,” he muttered with a sweaty palm, he was nervous for some strange reason.

Thea explained everything to them and they all went mute.

“So, is he going to take responsibility or what?” Victor asked. “One thing I know, he can’t take Davis,” Mavis stated.

“I am just as confused as you guys,” Thea replied. “He will try to Father the child, will you let him?” Vin threw the question at her.

*********

Cisco went back to his family (his parents) he explained everything to them, he was still waiting for their response since they were short of words when the door opened.

“I am home,” Vin announced as he walked into the house. “Mom, dad,” he smiled but the atmosphere was not nice.

He wondered what was going on, Mitchell was still in their house with Cisco.

Did Cisco fight with Chloe? He wondered since he only stays long when he does.

Vin walked towards Mitchell and played with her, he noticed no one was saying a word so he thought he was an obstacle to them continuing whatever it was they were discussing.

He dropped Michelle and made to walk away, but his mom’s statement stooped him.

“Thea has a child for your brother.”

Vin sighed and replied. “I know.”

“You knew?!” Cisco was displeased, how can Vin be aware while he was clueless?

“How long have you known?” Mr. King asked and he turned around. “While she was pregnant,” he answered.

“Why didn’t you tell me? Why didn’t you speak up?!” Cisco questioned loudly.

“Mitchell is here,” Mrs. King cautioned and he sighed, Mitchell pouted in confusion as she watched her daddy raise his voice at his uncle.

“She didn’t want you to know, not after what you did,” he replied and Cisco was tempted to throw him a punch.

He would have if not for his daughter, he doesn’t want her to see him as a violent person.

“You liar!” Cisco snapped and Vin scoffed. “She doesn’t hate me, you kept it a secret because you thought you would have a chance with her!” He pokes his chest.

“Will you stop acting childish?” Vin inquired. “What did you say? I am acting childish?” Cisco questioned back.

“Yes! You are childish and stupid!” Vin blurted. “Mom, take Mitchell away,” Cisco requested.
