Mrs. King stared at innocent Mitchell and then her father who looked mad, she gulped nothing down.

“Francisco,” Mrs. King called. “You should calm down,” she advised.

“Take her away mom!” Cisco snapped and she rushed to the girl, Mrs. Kings took Mitchell to her room.

“Repeat what you just said,” Cisco demanded as he pushed Vin. “I dare you to repeat it!”

Vin closed his eyes and inhaled. “I am sorry,” he apologized.

“What’s wrong? What happened to the fearless Vin? Why are you suddenly apologizing?” Cisco questioned angrily.

“I didn’t mean to say those things,” he replied and Cisco scoffed. “I don’t want my daughter or my son around you!” Cisco snapped and stormed into the room.

“Francisco! Son! Wait!,” Mrs. King called after him as he walked out of the room.

He carried Mitchell and glared at Vin before leaving the house, Vin sat on the armchair and roughed his hair.

“Why did you do that? You should have given it a thought,” Mr. King scolded. “You should let him be, what happened is no one’s fault,” Mrs. King said and she took a sit on the couch.

“You are always siding with him, that is the problem,” Mr. Kings spat and went to his room.

“Son,” Mrs. King called. “I am fine mom, you have nothing to worry about,” he replied.

“You don’t look alright,” she said and he forced a smile.

Vin went to his room with a heavy heart, he fell on the bed and closed his eyes.

‘Why did I do that? I shouldn’t have uttered harsh words, but he hurt Thea what was I supposed to do now he wants to be part of Davis’s life? He has no right, he abandoned them when they needed him why does he want to be part of his life out of the blue? Why?’ Vin wondered as tears escaped his eyes.

He sat on the bed motionless, he opened his eyes and stared at the ceiling.

‘Do I love Thea? I don’t, right? I got over her after I found out about their relationship, why do I feel this way? Why does the thought of her getting back with Cisco annoy me? Just why?!’ He wondered mentally as he glared at space.

He picked up the pillow and threw it away out of rage, he picked up the duvet and pushed it to the floor.

‘I just want to protect her, that is all I want to do,’ he thought as he slipped to the floor, he held his hair and shut his eyes.

Cisco felt guilty and hurt at the same time, what he did to Thea was wrong but he had reasons for his actions.

He should be understood not judged, he parked the car in front of the mansion and glanced at Mitchell who was fast asleep.

He turned his face back and a deep sigh left his mouth. “I am sorry, I am sorry for hurting everyone,” he muttered and opened the door.

He carried Mitchell and walked into the mansion.

“Welcome sir,” a maid greeted and took Mitchell from him, Chloe was rushing downstairs when she bumped into the maid.

“Is she alright?” She asked the maid. “She is asleep ma’am,” the maid replied.

“Take her to her room, change her dress but be careful not to wake her up,” she warned and the maid nodded before walking away.

“Why are you just returning her? Wasn’t the plan to bring her back in the morning?” Chloe questioned.

“Let’s talk about this tomorrow,” Cisco replied as he took off his suit. “Tomorrow? No, we are having this discussion tonight,” she replied.

“Now answer me, why is my daughter returning just now?” She questioned.

“Can’t you see that I am exhausted? I don’t want to talk about useless stuff!” He snapped but she was not shocked.

“You think keeping my daughter away from me for two days is useless? You told me you were going to bring her home in the morning but you did the opposite and you didn’t call,” she protested.

“Do you have any idea how worried I was? Do you? I was worried sick and tried calling you but you ignored my calls!” She growled.

“Enough!” He roared. “I have had enough of you,” he stood up and moved closer to her.

“Everything is ruined because of you, you should be grateful to Mitchell ’cause I would have kicked you out if not for her, so quit giving me a headache and behave,” he seethe before walking upstairs.

Chloe fell on the nearest couch as her heart hurt, it was broken into a million pieces. She held her chest as it felt a bit hard to breathe.

Cisco went to Mitchell’s room, the maid was done changing her dress and was about to cover her with the duvet when he walked in.

“Leave, I will take care of her,” Cisco said and the maid bowed before leaving.

Cisco sat on the space beside her, he smiled as he covered her with the duvet.

“My princess,” he called and peck her forehead, he switched off the lights leaving the table lamp.

He stood up and turn to leave only to see Chloe standing at the door with a teary face.

Cisco didn’t say a word but simply walked past her.

“Why is it hard to love me?” She questioned and he stopped, she turned to face him as tears finally escaped her eyes.

“I don’t understand why it is so hard for you to love me, it wasn’t hard with Thea, it wasn’t hard with Mitchell. It was even easy for you to forgive Fiona, why can’t you love me? What exactly is wrong with me? Tell me!” She demanded in tears but Cisco didn’t say a word.

“Why aren’t you saying anything? Don’t you have an answer?” She asked. “You should stop trying,” he simply replied and left.

Chloe felt her leg getting weak, she slumped on the floor as tears fell uncontrollably from her eyes.

She didn’t want to wake Mitchell so she dragged herself to her room, she covered herself with the duvet as she sobbed uncontrollably.

Cisco was sited in his office but he was lost in thought, he couldn’t get his mind off Thea and Davis.

He badly wants to see his son again, he wants to be home and tell him that he is his father.

“You signed the wrong file sir,” his secretary reported.

He brought out his phone and showed him a picture of Thea.

“Her name is Thea Robert, get her address,” he ordered.

Thea was just coming out of the broadcasting room when she bumped into Cisco.

“Sorry,” Thea apologized and tried to walk away but Cisco stopped her, she slapped his hand off when she had no idea who it was.

“Hey,” he waved while she looked at him stunned. “Wh… What are you doing here? No, how did you find me?” She asked.

“I told you we would meet again,” he replied and moved closer. “It’s nice to see you are okay.”

“What do you want?” She questioned. “Let’s talk,” he replied.

“We already talked, what more do you want to talk about?” She questioned.

“Davis, I want to talk about my son,” he answered. Thea scoffed, she was displeased with the fact that he called Davis his son.

Yeah, he is the father but he has no right to call him his son.

“You talk as if you knew about him since he was born,” she muttered angrily and walked past him.

He followed. “I apologized about the past, it is only natural for me to talk about him now that I know him.”

Thea didn’t say anything afterward, they simply strolled side by side.

“Where is he?” He asked. “With my mom and Allison,” she responds.

“Allison?” He repeated bewildered. “Yes, she is back in the country with her son,” Thea answered

“Oh, what’s his name?” He asked. “Sol,” Thea replied since she thought he was talking about Allison’s son.

“Umm… I was talking about Davis, what’s his last name?” He asked, he wanted to know if Thea ever acknowledge him as his father.

“He has king on his birth certificate but I have plans of changing it soon,” she replied and he held her arm.

“Why?” He asked. “Because it is the right thing, you have a family. I am sure your wife will be displeased when she finds out about Davis I don’t want my child to feel inferior to yours. I believe it is best if he thinks his father is dead,” she said.

“You just can’t erase me from his life,” he stated and she scoffed walking away. “I can, he is my son and I know what’s best for him,” she replied.

“I want to be part of his life,” Cisco blurted. “I don’t understand,” Thea muttered and stopped, Cisco walked closer.

“I want you to introduce us,” he answered.
