“Sol quiet!” Allison snapped and he pouted sadly, Thea glanced at her mom who shrugged.

Thea gulped down and bowed her head slightly, Cisco was nervous. He prayed she would agree but with her expression, there is a great possibility she won’t.

“Can I?” He asked again and Thea rubbed her temple before raising her head again.

“I am sorry but, no,” Thea replied. “No? Yes,” Sol smiled and stick out his tongue at Cisco who looked sad.

“Sol!” Allison gave him a questioning glare. “To your room,” she ordered.

“Why?” He inquired with a frown. “To your room, don’t make me repeat myself,” she glared harshly.

He stood up reluctantly and Davis held his shirt. “Sol,” he called with a sad pout.

“Don’t touch me! It’s your fault I am being punished!” Sol snapped at him and ran into his room.

Davis crawled out of Cisco’s arm, and though Cisco didn’t want to let go he had to.

Davis ran into Thea’s arm and she hugged him. “Mommy,” he called with tears rolling out of his cute eyes.

“Yes, baby,” Thea answered and he pointed at the route Sol took. “Sol,” he reported.

“Don’t cry, Sol is going to come around,” Thea assured and he hugged her tightly.

Cisco was sad, his son didn’t acknowledge him. It was not Davis’s fault, he wasn’t around when he needed him.

He wasn’t there when his mom had crazy mood swings and cravings, he was not there when he was born or while he was growing up.

He is not expected to show up out of the blue and be acknowledged, he bowed his head shamefully.

Sol screamed angrily in his room and Thea glanced at Allison who shrugged.

“Allison, you should attend to Sol,” Mrs. Robert suggested. “He is fine, he acts up whenever he is angry,” Allison replied not wanting to leave.

“He might hurt himself,” Thea said and he rolled her eyes before heading to his room.

“I will take Davis,” Mrs. Robert informs Thea and she carried Davis who buried his face in her shoulder.

“I think you should leave, Davis is not in the mood for bonding,” Thea said and stood up, Cisco ran after her and pulled her arm.

“Cisco,” she called taken aback. “Why? Why don’t you want him to meet my family?” He asked and she almost regret her decision

But it was the right one, he hurt her and she vowed not to get her revenge but he can’t have everything on a platter of gold.

“Because you knowing him is enough,” she replied. “I don’t understand, they are his family too. Why can’t they meet him?” He inquired desperately.

“He is a kid, bonding with new people at a time will stress his brain. Can’t we just take things slowly?” She requested.

“He is a smart kid, he will be fine,” he assured her, she rolled her eyes when he sounded like he knew the boy.

“Maybe some other time, but definitely not today,” she replied and he tightened his grip on her arm.

“Why are you being impossible Thea?!” He questioned furiously and she freed her arm from his grip.

“You don’t have the right to say that,” she stated with her index finger pointed at him. “You can’t show up after two years of an unreasonable break-up and refer to me as an unreasonable lady, nor can you tell me what to do with my son, you are lucky to be part of his life.”

She turned to walk away but he held her arm again, she pushed him angrily and he staggered a bit It was unexpected.

“You are overstaying your welcome, I suggest you leave,” she said and called Nora.

“Ma’am,” she rushed out of the kitchen. “Show our guest the way out,” she rolled her eyes at him and walked away.

Cisco scoffed lowly as he watched her disappear into a room, his leg found its way to the road and he left.

Thea sat on the bed in her room as her heart felt slightly heavy, Allison walked in a few minutes later

She happened to witness the whole drama, she sat beside her and rested her head on her shoulder.

“Why did you turn down his request? I thought you forgave him,” Allison uttered curiously.

“Yeah, but when I think about the fact that he wants to take Davis I feel my blood boiling,” she replied honestly.

“Do you hate him or you are scared he will take Davis away?” She asked. “I don’t know Allison, I just don’t think it is time for his family to be part of Davis’s life. None of them rebuked him for his actions, and neither of them cared when they find out the truth. Tell me, Allison,” she raised her head.

“Why should I let them meet Davis? Why does he want Davis?”

“I don’t know Thea and I am not going to blame you, because only you understand your pain. You should do what you think is right,” she supported and Thea hugged her.

“It’s fine,” Allison pat her back gently. “I am confused Allison, my decision makes me feel like the worst person,” she sobbed.

Mrs. Robert walked into the room and met Thea in that state, she sighed sadly and left unnoticed.

She walked into Davis room and meet Sol trying to make him go back to sleep, she watched with a smile as she successfully made him sleep.

“Stubborn boy,” he chuckled and turned around to find Mrs. Robert smiling at him.

“I thought you are mad at him,” she said. “Yes, I still am. I just didn’t want him to disturb aunt Thea, she seems to be having a bad day,” he replied

“Daddy,” Mitchell called happily as he walked into the mansion. She got down from the couch and ran into his arms, he carried her and kiss her forehead.

“Cartoon, daddy cartoon,” she pointed at the TV as her way of telling him she is watching cartoons.

“That is cool, love,” he dropped her and she ran back to the couch.

“Welcome,” Chloe smiled and he nodded, she noticed he looked downcast. He was happy when he left the house, it got her wondering what went wrong.

“Are you alright?” She asked but he ignored her, what was she expecting? For him to hurriedly tell her how his day went?

She must have lost her mind, but she was not going to give up. Just not anytime soon.

“I will ask the maid to set the table,” she stood up heading to the dining table but he held her wrist.

Her heart skipped a beat and she could have sworn she felt a butterfly dancing in her stomach.

He hardly touches her, it must be her lucky day.

“Mitchell, has she eaten?” He asked still holding her hand but his gaze was on the floor.

“Yes, she didn’t have lunch so I got to feed her. I was worried she would reject dinner just like she did at noon, I was scared she would sleep with an empty stomach. However to my dismay…”

Cisco interrupted her. “I have a son,” he blurted. “She actually ate…” Chloe trailed off and she loosened her wrist from his grip.

“What did you say?” She asked hoping she was hallucinating. “I have a son, and he is the same age as Mitchell,” he explained further.

“You have a son?” Chloe freaked with her eyes almost falling out of its socket.

“How long have you known? Were you cheating on me?” She questioned. “No, and if I was cheating, it’s none of your freaking business because we are not together!” He snapped.

“Why are you telling me if I meant nothing to you?” She questioned. “I don’t understand that either, I just don’t want you to hear it from someone else and end up developing high blood pressure,” he mumbled.

“Who is the mother?” She asked. “Thea,” he replied.

“Thea? As in, Thea your ex-girlfriend?” She asked more surprised and he nodded. “Is he… Your son going to live here with his mother?” She asked.

“They have no plan of living here so you have nothing to worry about,” he replied and tried to walk past her but she held his wrist.

“Do you love her? I mean Thea, will you go back to her now that you found out about your son?” She asked.

“I am not obligated to answer that,” he replied and walked away. “Am I going to lose him?” Chloe wondered as she watched him walk upstairs.

“I can’t, I have endured all this while, I can’t lose him,” she muttered.

“Mommy,” Mitchell called and she walked closer to her. “Yes,” she answered with a fake smile.

“Cartoon,” she pointed at the TV and Chloe realized the show has ended, she took the remote and changed the channel.

“Yay!” Mitchell threw her arms in the air happily. “Thea is not going to be a part of Cisco’s life, not again,” she muttered as she glared at the TV.
