Thea sighted Cisco giving instructions to his secretary as she walked into his office, Cisco dropped the file he was holding out of bewilderment when he saw her.

“Thea,” Cisco called with a smile and he stood up, pushing his secretary slightly out of the way. “What brings you here? Is Davis with you?”

He had a smile on as he walked closer to her, he was unaware of the unfriendly expression she has.

His arms were wide open for a hug but he was hit in the chest instead, Thea slapped his chest with the check given to her by Chloe.

His jaw dropped and he slowly dropped his arm to pick up the checkup.

“That is quite a huge amount of money, don’t you agree?” She asked as he stood straight.

“It would have helped a lot you know, but… I am not a slut,” she stated staring right into his eyes

“I want you and your pathetic wife…” Cisco interrupted her.

“She is not my wife!”

“Oh,” she was stunned. “I don’t care what she is, I want you to warn her, it won’t be nice if I stripped her In the street, would it?

Cisco could only blink as he watched her speak, he has never seen her that furious while they were dating. He has seen her go through pain and illness but he has not witnessed her lose her patience.

“My son and I were doing fine without you and I have no doubt we will still be fine even if we live on the streets, you and your family should stick your nose out of my business. I don’t need your help, and I will never need your help. Go to hell with your dirty money!” She retorted and glared at him disgustingly before walking away.

Cisco wanted to run after her but his shoe was suddenly glued to the ground, his eyes could only follow her as she walked away in a rage.

He hated the fact that she hates him more all thanks to Chloe, why does she need to ruin his Life all the time?

Why is she so obsessed with her? Cisco turned around to find his secretary staring at him weirdly.

“Why are you there?” He questioned. “Umm… You haven’t signed this,” he raised a file.

“Keep it there I will get back to it,” Cisco replied walking towards his table.

“Why aren’t you leaving?” Cisco queried. “I don’t think it is advisable to leave the files here,” he replied honestly

“Why? Do thieves come in here?” He questioned. “No, sir but the last time some files were left here, you couldn’t differentiate between the trash and the files. I spent hours in the dirt, looking for the files you trashed,” he reminded

“Is that so, you think I am absentminded?” Cisco asked with a smile. “No, that isn’t what I meant… I just think it is better if we are more careful,” he explained with a smile.

“Walk out of the office or I will make the securities help you and you might never walk in here again,” Adrian threatened.

His Secretary rushed out of the office while he sighs tiredly. “Chloe!” He growled as he stared at the check-in rage.

Chloe stopped in front of The King’s mansion, she had a sad expression as she walked towards the house.

She has not been there in a while, the last time she was there was when Nathan was born.

It wasn’t a pleasant visit if she could recall clearly, she got into a fight with Mr. King then Cisco scolded her, she picked up her daughter and walked out of the house in a rage

She spent days at Victor’s place before returning to the mansion, she has never come back since then.

Why was she going to come back? Looking for trouble might be her hubby but she loves avoiding one once in a lifetime.

She took a deep breath before pressing the doorbell, it took a while for a maid to open it.

The maid recognized her so she stepped out of the way. “Good afternoon, Miss,” the maid greeted.

“Where is my daughter?” She asked but the maid was clueless that Mitchell was her daughter is she replied.

“I have no idea of who your daughter is or her whereabouts,” the maid replied and she scoffed loudly.

“Do you know who I am? Or who my husband is?” She asked rhetorically, the maid tried to find an answer but nothing came to her mind.

She isn’t Octavia and neither Cisco nor Vin are married, Mr. King didn’t get a second wife, did he?

“No, ma’am,” she replied, maybe she wouldn’t have been hit if she knew it was a rhetorical question.

The maid held the cheek Chloe just hit her with teary eyes, what has she done or said wrong to get hit? All she did was answer questions but now she is getting beaten up

“Learn how to speak!” Chloe scolded. “You should learn how to behave like a human first,” Mr. King said as he walked into the living room, he has been watching for a while.

“Dad,” Chloe called with a smile walking towards him she pushes the maid out of the way but Mr. King glared at her.

“Is your father missing? Or do you have trouble identifying him? I am sure I am not your father and even if I had a daughter, she would not be as rude as you,” he spat and she felt humiliated.

However, that was just the beginning. “Apologize to her,” Mr. King ordered.

“What? Why should I apologize to a maid?” She questioned. “Because you have hurt her,” he replied.

“Well, I don’t give a damn… Mr. King, she is a maid, and never in my life will I apologize to a maid,” she said with her gaze on the girl.

“Excuse me, Mr. King,” the girl said in a teary voice and walked away.

Mr. King turned to look at Chloe disgustingly. “I hope Mitchell doesn’t take after you,” he uttered and shook his head sideways.

“What if she does? I am her mother, it is only right she takes after me,” she replied proudly.

“And where is my daughter?” She asked staring around.

“Asleep,” he replied. “Where is she sleeping? I will go get her,” she said staring at the doors.

“I will get her for you,” Mr. King said and walked away before she could protest.

Mitchell was asleep in Mrs. King’s arms, while Mrs. King slept behind her.

Mr. King smiled as he watched the scene for a while, he carried Mitchell slowly so she wouldn’t wake up or wake Mrs. Kings.

He walked out of the room and Chloe rushed to take the baby from him, she didn’t bother to thank them but simply walked out of the house.

“Vin needs to control his dick,” he mumbled.

Chloe walked into the mansion with Mitchell still asleep in her arms, she planned on laying her on the bed before having lunch.

But Cisco stopped her immediately after she entered. “We have to talk Chloe,” he said and she thought it was about his father.

She would not be surprised if he called him to report her, it’s not like he has better things to do.

“You are home early,” she said instead still walking upstairs, he rushed to stand in front of her.

“What?” She raised a head at him. “What is this?” He raised the check.

Stupid Thea, where she thought she accepted the check. Why does she need to act childish and show it to Adrian?

“A check I gifted to someone, I am confused how did you get it?” She asked feigning innocence.

“Why did you do it? Why did you need to stoop so low? What if Thea had fought with you?” He asked

“Did she say she would have?” Chloe asked with a smirk. “That would have been cool and I will get to remind her where she place it,” she smiled and try to walk past Adrian.

“How long are you going to continue being a bítch? For how long do you think you can keep this attitude up?” He asked and she stopped.

“Cisco,” she called with widened eyes, they have fought a lot throughout the years but not once has he called her names.

“You called me a bitch? For that pathetic girl, you called me a bitch?” She asked unbelievably.

“Thea is not pathetic,” he defended. “What makes you think she is not? Isn’t she just begging for attention? Why did she have to come to you? She is pathetic and desperate,” she replied.

“No, she is way better than you and the attention seeker is no Other person except you,” he blurted

“I am your wife! You should love and support me but you have been doing the opposite lately,” she cried.

“You are mistaken Chloe, we live together with our child but that doesn’t make you my wife or girlfriend! You are my baby mama!” He scowled at her.
