JERICHO’S WEAKNESS Episode 31

He left Valerie immediately as he stood up from the bed with his knife.

What the hell is he doing there??? How did he even find them??

Jericho stood by the door, his eyes watching Valerie as she bled and cried on the bed – halfly n@ked.

He trailed his eyes back to Derek who was glaring hard at him.

“Get out of here, Jericho” he said with gritted teeth.
“Leave while you still can, and I won’t kill you”‘.

Jericho was silent for a while, two specific thoughts running through his mind.

He moved away from the door and took steady strides into the room, walking towards him.

Derek was alarmed, perplexed.
Should he attack him? Kill him? But how did he even find him in the first place?

Jericho got so close to him and using his survival instincts, he lifted his knife to him, but Jericho was fast enough to suspend his hand in mid air.

He drew him close and kicked him on his ribs, making him groan and fall on his knees.

“You’re a fool, Derek” he stated gruffly and snatched the knife from him and even before Derek could blink, he stabbed him right into his chest.

“Argh!!” Derek groaned and spit out blood.

Dread filled Valerie’s eyes as she watched the scene in front of her. She could hardly feel her heart beating.

She sat up on the bed, huddled her arms and legs and watched in sheer horror.

Jericho took out the knife and stabbed him again and this time around, he didn’t pull it out but dragged it downwards, cutting him open like a chicken.

Blood gushed out like spring as he choked and dropped dead on the floor.
And Valerie screamed out immediately:

“Arghhhhhhhhhhhhh!!!!!!!””

She screamed out her lungs, her eyes opened wide in shock and fear too small to describe what she felt.

It’s never here heard of:; she’s never experienced it – a man being killed in that way in front of her very eyes!

She bursted into heavy tears, huddling herself backwards to the wall like she wanted to get lost into it.

“No… No” she kept whimpering, shaking her eyes sideways as she shivered uncontrollably in fear.

Jericho took out the knife from Derek’s abdomen, throwing it to the floor and gave a glance at his corpse. Then, he looked at Valerie who was covered in fear and tried walking towards her

“No!! Please!!” She screamed, her eyes sore from excessive crying already.
Her arm and leg were still bleeding.

“Please… don’t come close. Just leave. Please!!”

His hands were stained with the blood from Derek and that terrified her the more and didn’t want to be close to him. He just killed someone in the most brutal way – cut him open like he was actually an animal.

Goodness! Only a monster can do such a thing! They were all dangerous! Everyone of them!!

“Just go please” she whimpered more.
“Please…I beg you”.

Jericho stared at his bloody hands, then ignored her pleas and went closer to her.

“No…No… Please…!” She gibbered, still finding a way to go closer to the wall.
The whole scene was traumatic for her.

“Will you stop this, Valerie?” Jericho scoffed as he got on the bed.
Her eyes widened more in shock. The sight of the blood on his hands were terrifying for her.

“Please… Please”.

Jericho reached out for her hand, but she forcefully took it back, shaking her head sideways and indicating she wanted him to leave.

He understood her perfectly, understood the fear she felt having to experience such scene for the first time. But he wasn’t having the patience at rhat moment.

“Valerie, we need to leave now. It’s not safe staying here” he tried being a little calm as he reached for her hand again, but the blood from his ended up staining hers and she let out another scream.

“Valerie!” He shut her up.

“You…you killed him…” She stuttered whisperingly.
“You… killed him, w… without… any remorse. You killed him”.

“He was going to kill you, Valerie” he said in a deep grunt.

“You…You killed him. You killed him. Oh God…”

Jericho looked down at the bed, thinking of what he could possibly do to calm her down. But being the kind of person he was, he completely had no idea.
So, he just got hold of her hand and pulled her hard this time around, forcing her away from the wall.

“Ah!” Valerie shrieked. “Y… You’re going to…kill me too?”

“Stop it, Valerie! I’m not killing you!!” He half yelled and more fear got imbued in her.

She stared down at the floor and wept more. Then, Jericho lifted her shirt to cover her exposed b00bs and afterwards, he dragged her away from the bed.

“We need to leave – now” he told her as they stood facing each other, but Valerie couldn’t think of staring at him. Never. Her teary eyes were pinned to the floor the whole time.

Still holding her hand, he led her out of the room where she let out a wince as they came across Derek’s cold body on the floor. Her intestines tumbled and she felt like throwing up. The sight was so horrifying for her!!!

Her legs were hurting like hell, but Jericho couldn’t notice and she also couldn’t tell him.

She covered her mouth with her palm to prevent her from bursting into more tears and soon, they got out of the house – out to the roadside.

The road was so dark and quiet and it only increased Valerie’s fears. She couldn’t even find her car, except for a strange car which was parked by the side. It was Jericho’s car.

“Come on; get in” Jericho said as he took her to the car and opened the front door for her. But Valerie stepped away.

“I… I don’t wanna go with you ” she shook her head. “I don’t wanna be here. Please, just let me be”.

“Take a look around, Valerie. Do you see anyone or moving vehicles? You’re in greater danger here. So, get into the car and let’s go” he rasped, not minding the fact that he was making her more scared.

Valerie stared pathetically.

“Your brother…” She whimpered. “Your brother doesn’t want to see us together. He…he said he’d kill me…if I…”

“Get into the car” Jericho cut her off, more calmly this time around.

Valerie sniffed and finally got in, realizing she had no option.

Jericho went round to take the driver’s seat and in no time, they hit the road.

Valerie couldn’t stop whimpering in the car and for someone like Jericho,not knowing how to pet someone or anything, he just let her be.

They spent a long time on the road and Since Valerie was staring at her nails the whole time, she didn’t even realize he wasn’t taking her home.

It was when they finally stopped moving that she lifted her eyes and discovered they were in a strange place – a different house.

Her eyes dilated more in shock as she turned to look at Jericho.

“Wh… Where did you bring me??! What’re you doing?” She panicked and Jericho almost rolled his eyes.

“Calm down, Val. I just need to clean you up. Get out” he replied and stepped out from his own side.
