JERICHO’S WEAKNESS Episode 41

“You fool!!” Hapitha snarled and hit Ethan hard across the face, making him bleed.
“How dare you?! How dare you ruin my plans??! You’re going to pay with your life!!”

She took up a knife and tried hitting him with it.

“Hapitha! No! No! Don’t do this. Please?” Klaus yelled in.
“We can settle this. Just let us go and we’ll never hunt you again”. He pleaded and Hapitha grinned.

“The biggest mistake one could make is trusting boys like you” she replied and tried using the knife on him again but this time around, a strong wind interrupted her

The wind was so heavy – it made the walls crack and rumble. Everything shook and lost balance in the room, Hapitha was swept off her feet and even the two brothers on their knees had to fall on their back.

“Ah!!” Hapitha shrieked as her back landed roughly on the floor.

Jericho – he knew exactly what he was doing. He knew Hapitha would be standing, and his brothers would either be chained or on their knees. So, making the house rumble would affect Hapitha more.

Hapitha’s eyes shun brightly as she looked out the window – trying to see if she could spot him.
This was Ethan’s fault!!

The plan was to make Jericho walk right into her trap without having to know it was a trap. But now, everything was ruined because he already knew it was a trap and his target would be to harm her.

“I hate you!!” She yelled at Ethan and tried standing on her feet, but the strong wind came again and made her fall back on the floor.

“Argh!!” She screamed, her entire body jerking on the floor.

Klaus and Ethan tried freeing themselves from the chains, but it was clearly impossible. And Jericho wasn’t coming in, probably because he knew there was a barrier at the gate.

Hapitha stretched out her palm and threw fire out the window, hoping it’d hit him. And soon, one of the windows came crashing to the floor.

She flinched as it occurred to her tht Jericho was coming in through the window.

“No!! No!!” She yelled and crawled back on her butts.

She tried standing up again, but the strong force pulled her down and pinned her to the floor.

Jericho had tiny injuries on his skin – due to the glass he had broken. But they didn’t bother him at all as he jumped in.

Ethan and Klaus were breathing in relief – both of them trying to signal him to get her. She was too important.

“No! Jericho! No!” Hapitha shook her head miserably.

She threw another fire with her palms, but he missed it and went straight to her.

He got hold of her neck and squeezed it roughly, making her choke.

“It’s over for you, Hapitha” he groaned.

“Jericho! No! Don’t kill her. Don’t kill her!” Klaus called out.
He knew his brother pretty well.

Jericho didn’t even spare him a glance as he continued choking Hapitha until she passed out.

Afterwards, he left her and went to Ethan, landing a punch right on his face.

“Jericho!”

“What did you do to Valerie?” He asked angrily.

“Jericho…Hey! Get these chains off me” Klaus called out to him , but Jericho was more focused on Ethan.

“Answer me?” He gripped his collars roughly.

“Let me go, Jericho!! I was only doing what was best for all” Ethan yelled.

Something in Jericho’s head wanted him to punch Ethan more, but realizing he was the only one that could heal Valerie, he decided to let it slide.

He released him of the chains, went next to Klaus and did the same to him. And finally, the three brothers were free.

“Damn! Good job, Jericho”. Klaus said and lookedat Hapitha who was still unconscious on the floor.
“How do we get her to talk?”

“We’re taking her home, we’ll tie her up and wait for her to regain consiousness” Jericho answered quickly.

“Whaat?? I don’t think that’s a good idea, Jericho. We should wait here for her to…”

“We’re not waiting here because Valerie is there at home, almost at the brink of death!” Jericho yelled at Ethan who went dumb for a second.

“Valerie was trying to help me” he continued. “She was trying to help me get to Hapitha just before you hurt her. So, don’t tell me what to do, but do as I say!”

“Hold on” Ethan scoffed. “Are you really acting this way just because of Valerie?”

Jericho’s jaws dropped immediately as it dawned on him that he had been over reacting. But he didn’t give the expression a chance to show on his face as he turned around.

“There’s no time. We need to go now” he stated grumpily and walked away.

Hapitha was taken into the car just like Jericho had instructed. They tied her up and put her in the boot and after a long while, they arrived at the mansion

Klaus and Ethan went ahead to get Hapitha out of the car while Jericho rushed in to check up on Valerie

The plan was to wait until Hapitha was awake, force the location of the key out of her and return back home. Everything was coming to an end. .

Getting to the room, Jericho was relieved to find Valerie still safe and lieing on the bed. But her hands had become extremely cold.

“Hey!! Ethan!!” He called out, but there was no response.
Where the f*”k was he???

“Ethan!!” He called again and shortly, the door opened with Ethan rushing in.
Klaus was tieing Hapitha up.

“She’s getting too Cold! Do something!” He stated impatiently but Ethan looked reluctant.

“Jericho” he turned to him and called. “The only reason I’m doing this is because we’re so close to accomplishing our mission already and will leaving soon. Else…”

“Damn you, Ethan! Cut the crap and do something!?” He yelled and Ethan exhaled deeply before going to sit in front of Valerie on the bed.

He took her hand, squeezed it roughly with her eyes pinned on her face.

Jericho watched with a little bit of anger as he performed the action and hoped it was really going to work out. It wasn’t too late , was it?.

He continued watching her face and finally, she awoken with a sneeze.
