EPISODE 14
Shannon’s POV
I got home few minutes after Jasmine and Emily left only to meet a furious Emily waiting for me in front of the door.
“Kuya Shannon,why didn’t you come along with Sis. Jasmine and I? ” She asked me as soon as I entered..
I was about to give her a reply when Jasmine walked towards us.
“Go to the room, I’ll come meet you” I told Emily who frowned before leaving.
“Hey” I said to Jasmine when she finally got closer.
“Shannon,i understand you don’t want my classmates,your new classmates know we live together but it doesn’t mean you should pretend not to know me” She said.
“I never said I’m hiding the fact that I live with you from anyone”
“Re..really? ”
“Yeah” I replied sheepishly heading to my room but..
“I wasn’t able to say to you a proper welcome to my school.., so I’m saying it now, Welcome” She said.
I scorned: “Are we in school now? ”
“I know we aren’t but I’m saying it now b’cos I know you would snub me in school tomorrow just like you did today”
“Whatever”
“Shannon we can get along but you are making it complicated, I’ve said I’m sorry thousands of times, why don’t we put the grudges aside and be good” She said.
“Why don’t you try to be nicer? I mean buy a time machine,go back in time and be a changed you” I told her.
“You know it’s impossible, I’m a changed person now so what else do you want from me? ” Jasmine said.
I could see she likes me and she’s ready to do whatever I want..
The ball is in my court, I should play it wisely.
“Why don’t you learn how to cook? ” What exactly I’m trying to do would go along way…
I shouldn’t just tell her that her apology is accepted.. Who knows,She might return to her usual self…she is such a chameleon!
“Dinner is cebolada, why don’t you join me in the kitchen?” I told her.
“Why not, I will” She exclaimed.
I smirked and told her I’ll be right back while I went into my room, pull off the uniform and wore something simple.
I returned,
Jasmine was still waiting.. I think she’s really serious.

Jasmine’s POV
We got to the kitchen,wore an apron I find it hard to put on..
“Slice the onions first” He commanded.
I quickly grabbed a chopping board, an onion and a knife then began to slice it into different sizes…i tried to, I’m trying to impress him but the onion I didn’t even bring closer to my eyes made me cry..
“Shannon” I was about to complain.
He smiled as he saw me cry yet I continued to slice the wicked onion.
“Try to close your eyes too” He told me.
I obeyed but, but.. I cut my finger..
“Shit! Blood! ” I cried out, dropping the knife immediately and showing my wounded finger to Shannon.
At first, he showed a concerned look when he saw my bleeding finger later he laughed at me.
“Just a little cut and you are making a fuss” He said.
How harsh!
“See Shannon, it won’t even stop bleeding” I told him still showing him the finger but he didn’t want to see it again.
“Leave the kitchen, I know I would end up doing it all by myself. You messed the first step by making a fuss over a slight cut” He said ignoring me,picking up the knife and slicing the onion faster which made it look very easy to do.
Slight cut my foot! I blew air into the bleeding finger..
“I will go give it a first aid treatment” I told him as I was about to leave the kitchen.
“A little cut” He repeated smirking.

Shannon’s POV
Alex joined in the kitchen, he’s rarely seen these days.
“Shannon, you didn’t tell me you’ll be attending Jasmine’s school” Alex said.
“You became a rare gem,how could I have told you” I told him “You said I have you all day and all time but that turned out to be a very big lie”
“Sorry dude, I made that statement when Ivy and I were apart”
“I know right”
“So do you like the school? I heard there are so many pretty girls there.. ” Alex teased.
“Really? should I get you ten or twenty? I whined.
“I won’t like to see the other side of Ivy…I’m satisfied with her and her only” He said and added “You should get yourself one instead”
“Shhhh”
