“So Mr Jeremy, my son Alex will be taking over the company very soon” Mr Bryant told Mr Jeremy but he smirked and Mr Bryant wondered why he did that..
“Why? ”
“Mr Bryant, since you already know late Mr Dawton’s son, what’s stopping you from handling over the company to him instead?” Mr Jeremy asked.
“Well… ” He muttered not knowing what to say.
“Shannon legally own the company” Mr Jeremy added.
“And why are you so concerned about him? ” He finally spoke.
“I have always been..His father and I were really really close remember? that’s why I’m assisting him in finding out who murdered his parents” MrJeremy said and saw Mr Bryant’s throat as it gulped down and he didn’t swallow anything.
“Worry less, Shannon would find out soon who killed his parents, get all what is his and then the war has just started Mr Bryant” Mr Jeremy said smirking again making it so obvious to Mr Bryant…
“What are you saying Jeremy? ”
“I’m not surprised if you don’t understand now b’cos you will, later”
Mr Bryant tried to smile instead in order to hide his inner doleful feeling..
Investigation process requires lot of action and pretence.
That’s only what he is trying to do.. He is trying to get some words from him and later use it against him.
The best he should do is to stay silent.
But how could he speak to him in that manner with so much courage?
The Mr Jeremy he knows talks to him with shaken voice but right now, his voice was firm and very audible.
He was even smirking and smiling wickedly all along.
What is he up to?
“One more thing Mr May”
What??
The only person who calls him Mr May is the late Mr Dawton..
“What? Jeremy? ”
“I’m resigning.I don’t need to write a resignation letter since I’m already here with you. Today, I Mr Jeremy is no longer your personal assistant” He said laughing almost hysterically as he turned to go.
“I do not understand you Jeremy? What’s with all this attitude and you are so full of yourself” Mr Bryant said with an accent to remind him that he was still his boss.
“I’m repeating it again Mr May, you will understand later” Mr Jeremy repeated.

Shannon’s POV
“Hey Alex” I called peeping through his door.
“You know you are free to jump in but if you prefer to stay that way, then it’s fine” Alex said instead of beckoning me in or opening the door, well I can do it myself.
“Silly” I said as I walked in.
“Isn’t it surprising? You’ve been indoor through out today, you’ve not gone out to see your lovely Ivy, anyway how is she? ” I asked.
“Hmph, I’m seeing her tonight” He answered with his tongue out and I laughed..
“Well, I do not need to ask you about my sister too. I know everything” Alex said.
My eyes almost bulged.
What’s that suppose to mean?
Alex laughed seeing me afraid.
“Just kidding though” He added.
“Anyways you’ve got all questions and all answers to yourself, it’s great isn’t it? ”
“Uhm? ”
“Let’s put that aside, I’m visiting my parents grave soon, what about the picture and portray? ” I asked.
“Oh My Gosh!! ” Alex almost screamed
“What’s it? ”
“I’m sorry Shannon, I have totally forgotten..I’m gonna do it right now and you’ll have the portrait in a day or two” He said as he moved to the table he kept the picture.
“Oh.. Ok then” I said making no fuss.
“Is the picture with you? I mean, I kept it here but I can’t find it” He said raising a book for me to see, opening the book and re-opening the book but when he didn’t find it, he flinged it.
“The picture has no legs, it would be somewhere around, I’ll go now to have a nap, inform me when you find it” I said as I was about to exit.

Mr Jeremy dropped the earphone on the table in front of him then tap the pause button on his phone screen to halt the audio that was playing.
He sighed.
It’s time to confess to Shannon.
It’s time to tell him i know who killed his parents.
I’ve hurt him once by leaving him when he wants me by his side, I shouldn’t hurt him again.
He is going through so much trying to find out who killed his mom and dad when the answer is just right here with me.
I’m going to tell him now..
I’ll tell him Mr Maya Bryant killed his mom and dad.
