Aurora’s POV

I glance at Dian and he was looking somewhere else.
I turns around to see what he was staring and there goes Mabel with a devilish smirk on.

She walk towards our table and scoffed.
Up till now I didnt know that Dian and I were holding hands not until she disturbed our dinner date.

“Hello babe.” She greeted Dian and turned to face me, a stupid grin playing on her lips.

I glance at Dian and he was quiet.
I don’t like this, I font like what’s going on.

Why can’t she just leave us alone.

“Mabel I’ll love it if you’ll stop using endearment on me.” Dian said and she scoffed.

“Because of her? She asked the obvious.

Yes baby!
Because of me!

“Okay I get it, not like she’s a saint anyway.” She added.

“What do you mean.” I asked out of annoyance.
The fact;) I’m not claiming to be a saint.

But she have no right to talk to me like she’s my f**king mom!

“I’ll pretend like I didn’t hear that.” She said mockingly.

“Mabel please…..”
The waiter came back with our orders and dropped it in front of us before leaving.

“As I was saying earlier Mabel, just go as you can see we will love to have our dinner now.” Dian said. His jaw clenched and his fist right on track.

“I’ll go because you asked politely babe, we will be seeing each other pretty often from now on.” She said and peck his cheek before walking out.

What the hell!
The audacity she have to peck my man in front of me.

I know that we are not on the same level but bitch I still got him.

I look at Dian and he was also starring at me.

“I’m sorry.” He said and I shrugged it off.
I bite on my steak letting go of what just happened few minutes ago.

I was quiet throughout the dinner, she succeeded in spoiling my mood.
After eating the food the waiter brought a bottle of wine with two glasses.

Dian opened the wine and pour for me first before pouring into his glass.

I sip on my wine and relax back on my chair.

“Baby, I sorry. I didn’t know that she will be here tonight.” He said.
I’m not mad at him, but I’m mad at myself for allowing Mabel to take the upper hand every time.

I am so weak, I couldn’t even talk back at her.
She peck him in front of me but I kept quiet.
I’m furious with myself.

“It’s nothing Dian, I’m not angry at you its totally cool.” I said and flashed him a reassuring smile.

He place his hand on the table and held my hand into his.

“I love you Aurora and I hope for a lasting relationship with you, I really do love you.” He said and laughed nervously.

“I do love you too Dian, more than you can ever imagined.” I said and winked at him.

“So how was your stay with your mom? I asked.
It became awkwardly silent and I needed to start a conversation.

“It was cool, she was cool with us being together.” He said and smiled at me.

I really want to meet her, I want to meet the famous politician/ business tycoon Amelia.

Her name screams power!
I really don’t know how I got do lucky to be dating her son.
Her only son or let’s just say only child.

“I really want to meet her before she go back to Canada.” I said sincerely.
He smiled at me, his pearl white teeth asking me to look at them.

His smiles caused me to do the same.
Smiles really fit him but with the false facade he used to mask his real self it became really weird for me sometimes to see him like this.

Our first meeting wasn’t really the best because it was full of cursing from me.

But here we are tonight on our first date.

“She will love to as well, she invited us for dinner tomorrow.” He said and I practically stood up from my chair.

“Really!

“Calm down babe,” he said and I sat down back on my chair.

“I’m sorry, I’m just so overwhelmed with joy.” I said and pout my mouth.

“This is a restaurant baby, and I’m sure as hell you don’t wanna we your face on the news tomorrow morning because of this.” He said and I nodded.

He is right.
Who knows if this stupid paparazzi are our there taking pictures.

“So we’re really invited for dinner tomorrow? I asked again to be sure of what i heard.

“I remembered saying so sweetheart.” He replied and bring out his wallet.
He bring out some money and place it on the table before standing up.

“Let’s go.”
I stood up and was about to follow him when my heel step on something slippery.

I was about to fall but was quickly held by Dian.
