Aurora’s POV

I got home and drop my backpack on my bed. I went inside the bathroom and splash water on my face.

I’m so tired and down, my head hurts badly.
I went back inside the room and sat down on the bed, I removed my canvas and toss them beside the bed.
I sat Indian style on the bed and bring out my phone from the backpack.

The first place I went to is my message box, Dian said that he will text me earlier.

I checked it and there were no new message from him.
I dropped my phone dejectedly and lay back on the bed.

My phone started ringing and I ignored it, it must be Arielle or Bobby.
It continue ringing and I picked it up without looking at the caller.

Hello.” I said tiredly.

Did I disturbed you? The voice I’ve been wanting to hear said calmly to me which make me gasp.
I never expect him to call me at all.

No, not at all.” I quickly said.
How are you doing? He asked, his voice sounds more husky this time.
Am fine, and you? How are you doing? I asked back.

I mentally scold myself for asking him such silly question.
Of course he is always fine.

He laughed a little and I can’t help but smile, he sound so manly while laughing.

I’m always fine Aurora.” He said.
His voice sounds kinda juicy while calling my name.

Okay.”

What were you doing at the hotel today? He asked, this time around his voice wasn’t calm anymore.
It was a little harsh.

I…I wanted to work and not stay lonely.” I said. Stuttering a little.

I did told you to resume at the mansion right? What’s holding you up?
He asked.

I am still thinking about it.” I replied calmly.
Why thinking about it I want you to stop going to the hotel, you sure know that Mabel will play pranks on you right? He asked.

His he concern about my safety?
I don’t understand what is going on.

Okay.”
The line was quiet for a while before he speak up.

I will see you at the mansion tomorrow, good night.” He said before I could say anything he hanged up.

He must be joking right?
Tomorrow?

I throw my phone on the bed and sigh.
I left the room and walk inside the kitchen to cook something.

I picked up the frying pan and placed I on the cooker.
I pour some oil inside it and went to the fridge, I brought out five eggs and some vegetables, tomatoes including onion.

I wash them with clean water and slice them according.

After mixing them up I pour it inside the hot oil.
After putting some ingredients in it I stir it and bring it down.

Dinner is ready!

I went to dad’s room and met him already sleeping.
I went back inside the kitchen and dish out his portion with a glass of juice and carry it inside his room.

I tapped him gently on the back and watch him frown in displease.

“Dad, come have your dinner.” I said and he open his eyes.

“You’re back.” He said rather than a question and I nodded.

He raise his body and sat down Indian style on the bed.

I placed the food in front of him and dropped the juice on a nearby table.

This is how we live here, this is how our daily life went.

“It’s delicious.” He said and I smile.
“Thanks dad, i’ma go and have mine.” I said and he nodded.

After dinner I took my bath before returning inside the room.
Examination is around the corner, I think next week or the following week but who am I to think of when it is, I have to read my books for me to pass out.

Senior exam is not a joke, I’ll have to do my project and I’m not ready to miss half of my marks.

I picked up the project sheet and Sigh.

HOW DO YOU KNOW A MONSTER? EXPLAIN WILL A WORTHY PROVE.

This is not going to be easy for me.

I’ll tell dad that I’ll be going back to the mansion tomorrow.
