Chapter 1

🦋June🦋

My alarm woke up in the morning, I quickly got up and checked the time. It was six on the dot.

I stretched my stiff body before rushing to the bathroom.

I did my usual morning routine, brushed my teeth, splashed water on my face then moved to my wardrobe to wear my jogging pants.

I’m already naked cause I’m not used to sleeping with my clothes on.

After dressing up,I put on my sport shoes, packed my lengthy hair up in a ponytail before going to Kayla’s room.

I barge into the room thinking she’ll wake up but as usual, she didn’t even move.

Hmm yet she wants to jog with me.

“Kayla!! Wakey wakey!” I shouted

She only grumbled from her sleep and used a pillow to cover her head. I chuckled “Seriously Kayla, I’ll jog without you if you don’t wake up.”

Still nothing “Kayla aghh for God sake get up, I don’t want to be late for work” I waited for her to get up,she didn’t rather I heard a loud snore.

“Aghh that’s it! I’m going bye”

My name is June Walker, twenty three years old. I graduated last two years from Cambridge University and decided to rent an apartment with Kayla.

My uncle was mad about it but after much conviction,he finally agreed.

Kayla and I knew each other from college, we’re the complete opposite of each other..yet we get along.

She’s the wild kinda girl while I’m the calm one, I only go crazy when the situation calls for it.

I usually jog in the mornings before work, it’s something that I can do without.. Kayla is trying to practice it but always ends up not going cause she’s a sleepyhead.

I’ll remember to tease her about when I get back.

Her long dark hair was what captured my attention and I haven’t even seen her face.

She was jogging down the street, twirling her hair from side to side, her tracksuit hugged her body like a second skin.

I became hard immediately..

I gazed at her body and hot damn!

She’s got the package, her backside was bouncing with every steps she took- drawing all the guys attention to her.

And yet, she doesn’t seem to notice this.

She was passing some group of guys when someone smacked her bum and laughed.

I growled and suddenly had the urge to go to her. The weird feelings shocked the hell out of me.

I can’t remember the last time I wanted to help someone.

“Darling,what are you looking at?”

I shut the blinds and turned to my date, Jenny.

She’s one of the best model in the city, of course,I always go for the best. We are on our way to an event but currently stuck on traffic.

I raised my perfectly shaped brows at her

“Let me make one thing clear, we’re on a date, so act like one and don’t ask questions” I said coldly.

She became quiet, it’s not like she could say anything, I am Khalid Black after all, an invisible tycoon who’s always been suspected to be the richest man in the world.

I’ve never announce the magnitude of my wealth, I love to keep them guessing.

At twenty seven, I’ve already make it in life and I’m damn proud of it.

I brought out my phone and texted the guards riding behind me to go help the girl out and find out everything about her.

She doesn’t know this but she’s mine already, I’m going to have her.

Later That Day..

I walked into my mansion that day with my mind still on that girl, who is she?

Something about her has piqued my interest, it’s rare for me.

My private investigator already said he was on his way, I decided to go shower before he comes.

“Welcome home young master”

I nodded at the butler”Let me know when the investigator gets here”

Minutes Later, I’ve showered and dressed up in a comfortable clothing, James (The butler) already told me he has arrived so I went downstairs.
