I hate to admit, I hated what I just heard… that was really tearing my heart.

Why do I feel scared to this? And why do I feel like she’s right about what she had just said?

” Uhmm,,, sorry we didn’t ask earlier, would you mind for anything? ” I asked.

She shook her head, ” No, thanks. “

” I think I need some air. ” I said, excusing myself.

I didn’t mind Bella’s eyes on me, I just wanna think about this straight.. once and for all.

I ran to the garden, stopping I folded my hands around my chest, sniffing hard.

” What’s going on? ” I asked myself, hoping to find an answer. ” Why are you here Reyhon? ” But there was no one to give an answer to that.

” Let’s just hope he does nothing stupid. ” I heard an unfamiliar voice say from behind.

I turned to see who it was, indeed it was Derek’s… Step brother. Never expected we’d meet face to face.

” Hi, ” he greeted first.

” Hi, ” I replied. ” Was I too loud? ” I asked.

Yeah I have to, cos, I’m pretty sure I wasn’t and how did he just heard me??

Guess I always forget one thing, wolves have super hearing abilities.

” Not too loud, I’d say.” He smiled, ” I’m Greg by the way. ” He introduced. ” Nice meeting you… “

” Diana… It’s a pleasure to meet you too, Greg. How do you know I am here? ” I asked.

” I saw you running out from the palace, so I decided to check if you were okay. “

” Yeah, yeah I am. I guess so. Not really tho. ” I just realized I’ve given a random reply at the same time. ” What am I even saying? “

” It’s okay, I understand. “

” You do? ” He does?

” Who doesn’t? You know, I know how it feels being someone else’s target. I mean, someone you don’t even know, you haven’t met before. We all meet people like that, most at times. You just have to know one thing for sure, not everyday are Christmas. “

” But that guy is worst than the devil. You can’t even believe it, his mate is scared of him. She even hates him. “

” Sometimes, we end up with the wrong people. Some alpha’s are like that tho. “

” But Derek isn’t. “

” He’s different. “

” So, I heard you two are related? Like step brothers? ” I asked.

” He told you that? “

” Yeah, that’s because I asked him. “

” Have we met before? “

” Nah, saw you from my window two days ago with some other guys. You were playing football and,, I almost thought you were Derek. “

” So how did you found out I wasn’t? “

” Your eyes, it’s obvious. Derek has a blue eyes, but yours is green. “

He chuckled, ” How smart of you. “

” So, you two are really step brothers, aren’t you? “

” I’d rather call it brothers. Putting the step, that isn’t necessary… to me. “

” Why do you prefer staying at the other side of the castle? ” I asked.

Was I supposed to ask that?

Like seriously, when did that slipped out of my mouth??

” It’s a part I take care of. “

” Wow,” I whispered. ” That’s great. I mean, you’re like an alpha there? “

” No, ” he laughed, ” It’s just like I property I own. “

” Great. I uhmm,,, I’ve never seen you two together, you know… never. “

He chuckled again. ” Honestly, we do. Most times. “

” Oops. Well, that’s great too. “

” So, what do you think he’s up to? “

” Who? “

” Reyhon, as they call him. “

” Honestly, I really don’t know. But whatever it is, I just hope it doesn’t cause a scene. But, what if it actually does? “

” You know, that’s the least thing we always wanna think of. “

We discussed at length, I’ll admit,,, he was really fun to be with.

I know he knows something about Reyhon’s arrival but.. he just doesn’t wanna tell me.

Excuse me, why do I feel like there’s more to Reyhon than just being here? Why do my instincts keep yelling like a mad dog in my head??

This is totally freaking me out and I’m like… What’s today’s date again?

Okay, this is going to be fine, Diana. You just have to take a deep breath. I assured myself.

I took a deep breath for three times, exhaling heavily. That was a bit helpful.

We waved a good bye at each other as we went to our seperate ways, and it’s been like hours Derek has been discussing with Reyhon.

I really wanna talk to him, I really do. He’s the only person I wanna talk to right now.

As I returned back to my room, I saw Reyhon. He was with a guard as he trailed from the opposite direction.

Our eyes were locked to each other as we got closer and closer, as well as those silly smile on his face. They kept growing wide like crazy.

” Hello, Miss. ” He said, stopping at my front.

” Hello, Mr. ” I said, with no smiling face.

” I heard a lot about you.. “

” So soon? ” I asked, he smiled.

” Maybe I was just being too inquisitive. ” He said.

” Don’t you think your inquisitive nature can get you into trouble? I think there’s time for everything, and sometimes, it’s not everything we ought to know about. “

” I’ll take the advice, thanks by the way, it was very helpful. “

” A pleasure, ” I wanted to leave but he held my right wrist.

I stiffened at his grip, trying to let go. ” It’s okay, I’m not going to hurt you. “

” You don’t have to before I know that you already are hurting me. ” He left go and smiled again, but stopped immediately.

He was staring long at me and I hated those gaze, they were so terrifying. So, I walked away without getting his supervision result.

Reyhon ✓

I held her hand and her skin felt soft in mine. Where had Derek brought this human from? He just caught the right fish.

I noticed how frightened she was, ” I’m not going to hurt you. “

” You don’t have to before I know you already are hurting me. ” I let go off her and smiled.

Her stubbornness was impressing me. The more she tries to be mean, the more it made me laugh,, and I can’t help to laugh more harder.

But I stopped immediately. Did you see that?

Her eyes, with those angry look she gave to me, something just happened.

I’m sure I wasn’t day dreaming when it turned purple for a second. No, I was actually alive when I saw it turn.

What the heck is she?

I doubt she’s just a human. There’s more to it. More to know behind those purple pretty eyes.

And I just discovered she was wrong about one thing… Sometimes my inquisitive nature can give me the best information I can ever get.

I smirked.

I went to my room, Pamela was already there, she had just changed her clothes to a towel tied around her chest. She was going to have her bath.

” Where have you been? ” I asked.

” What’s that supposed to mean? ” She asked back.

” I asked you a question, you’re expected to answer it. “

” Excuse me, I never forced you to ask me any questions. So, don’t try to force me to answer your damn question. ” She entered the bathroom, spending hours of her time.

Pamela was a pretty lady, I’d admit but, I don’t know why I seem not to have any feelings for her.

I can’t even believe the moon goddess could fate us together, and thankfully she doesn’t like me too.

After she was done bathing, she stepped out on a different cloth. I kept staring at her but she didn’t seem to notice that.

It would have been better if she had changed to the dress right before me. She sat on the bed, folding her legs together but her face staring out of the window.

” Who’s the girl? ” She looked at me. ” The white blonde haired girl. “

” What about her? ” Why the heck will she be asking me that.

” Will you keep asking me back? ” I asked, annoyed.

” Why do you want to know about her? ” She asked again.

” Don’t you think I have to? Besides, I know you’ve been with here the whole time I was with Derek and I’m very sure she told you more about herself. “

” Even if she did, I won’t tell you. ” She sternly said.

” Fine, maybe I’ll just have to read your mind instead. “

” Go ahead, that’s totally fine with me. ” she said, less concerned.

Maybe, they never said much about themselves. I concluded.

But that doesn’t change the fact that I will have to find out more about her. Once I learn Derek hasn’t touched her yet, maybe I’ll just have to do it myself.
