Nora had a sleepless night,she is becoming more worried she hasn’t gotten the news she wanted.
Her phone rang.
” hello”
” double our pay and we will take this mission more serious I want to add my boys to the game”.
” I will triple it,just kill her”
” okay madam”
” but what about her address,have you find out about it?
” no ma’am,we are still on it
” you’re still on it since how many days! dont worry don’t do it again. seems am paying you for nothing”.
she dropped the call.

it was still late in the palace,she washed her face in the washroom,the worry almost ate her liver. she flipped her hair backwards and Pat her face.

she was just on a nude colour bra and pant. if one didn’t see well,one might think she is naked. she applied her face cream then wore a well embroidered robe to cover,she walked out of her suite to the guards quarter.

she knocked on Stanley’s door when she finally arrived. It’s so cold outside,she waited patiently for him to open the door.

A few minutes passed before the door opened and Stanley got out.

” you left me standing out here!” she glared as she pushed her way past him into the house.
” I’m sorry” Stanley muttered in between breaths, he wondered why Nora will dress like this to see him when she knows he’s rema’s most trusted guard,after nkem, rema trust him as well..

” apology accepted” Nora nodded and moved in fully. she picked on the belt of her robe, Stanley looked away from her body. He finally looked when he remembered rema has nothing to do with Nora.

” I know you are part of rema’s personal guard shift,I need your help on something” Nora said with air of superiority. Stanley looked at her admittedly.

” talk about it”
” it’s about Chidinma,I want her to go far away from everyehere mostly from rema”

” but that’s your business not mine” Stanley thought.
” I know it’s not your business,but trust me that girl is ruining rema” Nora lied. Stanley looked serious,Nora knew he will want to do something about it.

” who is she…who are her families?”
” well she was a maid in this palace”
Nora said.
Stanley recollected he knows only one Chidinma in the palace and that was actually the girl that cured rema’s insomnia.

” describe the Chidinma you’re talking about”
Nora described and it was really her.

” wait dinma..dinma….I think I…does she have anything to do with rema?
” never,she is a nobody she is just around him to steal from rema,she has stolen quiet alot” Nora said. Stanley sighed, rema actually loss a lot of money when he was still in this palace. could it be Chidinma?..

” so, do we have a deal” said Nora.
” sealed,thank you for the information” Stanley said.
he watched Nora walked out..
” none of these girls deserve rema,I wonder the type of girl that will deserve him… I’m actually going to help and am also going to make sure you, Nora also stay away from rema cos you also don’t deserve him”
Stanley locked his door.

” he is not a stranger he is my boyfriend” Chidinma said lowly,her mother widened her eyes.
that was when Chidinma realized what she had said,she covered her mouth but it was too late.

Her mother was so shocked. The silence that followed was nerve-wracking.
” you…..” Mrs Uyah was saying, Chidinma looked away slightly,she wondered why she slipped talked it.

Mrs Uyah was just sooo stuned,like she doesn’t have much words. When she wasn’t saying anything,Chidinma walked away to her room,she bashed her lashes as she took slow steps hoping her mom won’t call her back… she knows how much efforts she puts just to ensure her and Nonso’s safety.

Chidinma sighed and lay beside olive, are used another wrapper to cover up herself. She felt a warm embrace. at least I told you so you won’t feel sad if you find out yourself” she said to herself,mere thinking if it made her felt goosebumps.

Chidinma woke up earlier, she entered the guest room, rema just finished calling his driver or whatsoever he call them.
” good morning” rema dropped the call and peck her lips..
she nodded. ” you need to leave very early”.
” your mom right?
” yeah..
”okay,I just called Tom and Stanley,they are on the way”.
” but your car is outside” Chidinma spot his car key..” let’s go I will walk you to the car” she added and look at his waist.
” rema did you say your jeans”
rema chuckled
” no I didn’t”
” I think you did”
”no,I really didn’t,it’s because I was lying down”

Chidinma looked at his diamond stonned belt she wondered why everything about him was just so expensive.
she instantly pulled the trouser up, rema laughed.

Nonso beamed as he walked down to the door, the conversation he had with them yesternight was awesome.

Drema Jewel is even more intelligent than nonso thought he’d be,he proved himself worthy to be a role model.
He is everything chidinma had mentioned and he didn’t regret choosing to look up to him.

He cleared his throat,rema and Chidinma turned instantly.
” good morning” nonso greeted,holding the door knob. He was already prepared for school.

” nonso,you look good” rema replied.
” will I meet you here when am back from school?” nonso asked.
Chidinma shook her head.

” no,his schedule is tight and this is not his house” Chidinma said and rema glance at her.

” ohh” Nonso sad,a bit sadly.
” I never told you I was going to work” rema faced Chidinma.
” your schedule is tight everyday and I don’t allow you miss today because you want to stay here”
” I can decide not to go and everything will be fine”

” alright then” Chidinma walked nonso out.
Rema waited patiently,he hastily wore his face cap.

” I know you must have felt so comfortable on the bed,you should go home now and rest” Mrs Uyah said,she entered the guest room and met rema waiting. She had expected him to leave since it’s morning.

” no,it’s fine. I’m waiting for my drivet” rema added.
” ohh okay,do you need anything before your driver arrives?” she asked.
” no,am fine”
” alright then” she added. Rema drank the orange juice she served him fully. he sat back on the couch and replied some text messages.

Mrs Uyah eyes won’t still give up.
” why are you being so nice to my family? she asked, rema’s philanthropic company has helped her and several woman in times of needs even before Chidinma started that maid work.

” ma’am,do you think there is a reason?” rema asked.
” I know you’re a philanthropist, you’ve helped so many people without them knowing you but do you want anything from me….I will gladly give you” Mrs Uyah said.

” you will?” rema asked.
”yes” mrs Uyah replied.
She knows Chidinma had feelings for rema and at this point what lingers in her mind is if he feels the same way for her.
She had sight him stare at her daughter several times yesternight when she introduced him as a guest….but that doesn’t mean he feels the same way for her.

Rema smiled in dimples,he looked very sweet, tender each time he opened his mouth to speak. Mrs Uyah noticed that.

” what I want from you is not the reason I helped you. I wouldn’t even know I helped you if you didn’t mention it…I helped people because I wanted to,nothing is attached” rema replied.

” okay,am glad you want something from me so what’s it?” Mrs Uyah asked,she somehow find rema too straightforward and honest.

” I like dinma. I have feelings for her”
Rema said lowly,Mrs Uyah was amused. his he not scared to say it in my presence..

” and I want to know if you trust me enough to put her in my care…..besides am actually a royal” Rema added, Mrs Uyah felt her world spinned.

She swallowed hard, wondering if this is a dream.

” yes..yes…yes” her mind screamed but her mouth and eyes remained pinned, memories of the past suddenly cloud her brain.

” a royal again!!! why must he be one of them!
Mrs Uyah stared at rema with so much expression.

” baby your driver is outside,you need to hurry before the reporters get here” the door opened.Chidinma stepped in and with one glance at her mother,she knew what was going on.
