the man repeated and nonso nodded.

He followed the unknown man with an uneasy mind.
”what happened to Chidinma?” he thought fearfully,his head already begin to calculate in hundred folds.
ohh heavens…my sister can’t be in danger, not now. I already lost an older brother,I can’t lost a sister too.

” did something happen to my sister?” nonso asked but the man didn’t respond.
on a norms,he wouldn’t talk to a stranger he didn’t even want to follow him but he just mentioned his sister.

His sister!!
the only one he loved the most in this world.. if there’s an afterlife,he wish they would exist as siblings again.

The man walked down,Nonso follower finally they arrived in front of a black sporty car. The man opened the back seat for him to get in. He nodded and look in the man’s face.

following a stranger because he mentioned my sister? and he didn’t even mention her name.

” get in,what are you waiting for?” the man asked.
” what’s my sister’s name?” Nonso asked, prepared to run if he mentions the wrong name.

” chidinma” the man answered.
” can we go now?” the man added.
” how am I sure it’s really my sister,where is your prove?” Nonso defended.

” she is Chidinma Daniels,a former maid in royal Palace. Can we go now?” the man asked
” what happened to her?” Nonso asked but again the man ignored him and he had no choice but to enter.
The car drove away in full speed. Nonso hastily brought out his notepad and write the car plate number which he had cram earlier.

Stanley,Nkem and Tom arrived into the estate down to the shooting complex.
Stanley stepped down, Tom stepped out beside him just then a woman in white uniform came out.

” welcome sir” she greeted rema’s guard.
she turned to Stanley.
” Stanley,is rema coming today?” the second woman asked.
” might not, am here to drop the clearance in place of him” nkem said.

” not might not, he won’t. you know rema hates crowd” Tom said.
” too bad,this was an opportunity to look at him for a long time” one of the models said.
the reporters stepped back.

Are all the reporters here for him?
wait,who leaked information that rema will be here today!!!

Stanley and nkem eyes met. They looked at Tom in turn.
” tom did you leak out that rema will be here today?” nkem asked,his eyes just met the crowd waiting for rema.
worst still the crowd was ever increasing.

”and why will I do that? are you accusing me or what?” tom looked scary.
” it’s okay guys,I will drop the clearance” Stanley said. Nkem scoffed and turned. A car drove in..

nkem recognized rema even though the window was quiet tinted,it’s so stupid to say he can recognize rema’s shadow..
He grew up with rema,he was meant to live with him as a guard,but he instead he lived a luxury life like they were blood.

if you weren’t told,you will think they are brother’s only close relatives knows nkem is a guard.

Queen chiamaka might have her saucy side but she never treated nkem as a guard. She brought him up as a son and that makes nkem love rema so much.

the queen had tried to make him stop being rema’s guard,but he won’t,he doesn’t want to stop…
he just love rema so much,
Rema is his family,he is just so kind,humble and humane.

Apart from the fact that he has achieved more than his age,his future is not a simple one. Only a simple and contended girl like Chidinma can be with him.
someone who will love him,crazily and never cheat on him,someone who has experience pain just the way he has..

Kelvin and bethel are tired of investments.

everyone shouted his name crazily like they have been expecting him. The crowd was ever increasing.

” oh my god!!! It’s rema… Rema Jewel in qw complex”
” reporting live; our city’s sweetheart shows up at qw complex today”
a crazy girl went live on Instagram.

Rema walked faster ,the crowd only worsened.
Nkem scoffed at Tom,he doesn’t really trust tom being around.
Paparazzi took pictures of them,the press threw questions.

” Rema are you doing a commercial for qw
” Rema is this your first commercial with qw how do you feel?
” Rema how do you feel with your music collaboration with Yankee..
” Rema please answer us.
Rema stopped and took the mic.
” thank you everyone,I love you all.
be returned the mic then he walked further people kept shouting.

Nkem admired how the people struggled to touch rema. Indeed if one is good to people, they will always do anything to stand by you. Nkem ran close to rema,he admired the way he walks.

The girls walked on the other sides admiring rema…Rema didn’t even blink. He got to the glass door and electronic voice said. ”welcome to qw commercial complex,have fun”….
the door opened on its own,rema walked in with nkem…

he ignored all other sections and walked to the meeting section where his workers say waiting for him.
They stood up and bowed the moment he entered…
he responded to their greetings and sat on the high chair facing them all.

” the other commercial is as competent as we are so we have to put in all our best.The contract worth a lot of money and you will get so many tips off it. So I hope we all work very hard for this upcoming project” Rema said, he already watched the chats displayed on the electronic bill board…
they listened as he spoke professionally and most of the female employee gushed over him as usual.

Rema manages to avoid their gazes all the time cause they do nothing than to cast him seductive glares.

” we will put in our best” they chorused.
” have a great day,Nkem will fill you in on more information”rema said and stood up. He picked the bottle water on the table and headed for the door.

” ohh,I forgot. Bethel said someone dropped this and left without waiting to see you”
nkem said holding an envelope with the words ”private abd confidential” printed on it with bold letters.

Rema collected it and opened it. It was a contract deal. Rema knows something was more to the contract than money. He would never sign it.
He crumbled the paper and trash it.

” the envelope was from pw again,they want me to sign that deal”
” ohhh” nkem sighed.
” check the CCTV footage for who dropped the envelope” rema added…
” and rema,I suspect Tom…I feel a bad aura each time I see him” nkem said

” bad aura…. Tom. What happened? why did you say so? has he done any bad of recent?” rema asked.
Nkem went silent. He actually have no prove.
” (sighs) I just don’t like him around,he looks suspicious” he said.
” He has done nothing bad. Start liking him,he is part of us” rema said and walked down…

Chidinma panicked as she glanced up at the wall clock for the twentieth time.

Nonso is not yet back and she is seriously running late for the talent show she signed up for…

”Chidinma,what are you still doing at home, selection will soon start” that was olive. she called chidinma on phone.

” am on my way now…am waiting for Nonso, who knows if he’s having extra classes” Chidinma said.
” I will soon be there,I won’t miss it” Chidinma said.she hung up and checked the time again.

Nonso is yet to be back.
it’s already several hours past closing time, she had even went to Nonso’s school and the security man confirmed all the students left.

He is not even picking his calls,which made her more worried.
she glanced at the wall clock once more.
” I think am going to call mom” she said so worriedly.

she was about dialing the number when the door to her room opened,she quickly turned hoping it was him.

Her room door opened and Nonso rushed in.
she couldn’t help but feel relieved.

”am sorry,sister”he said.
his face wasn’t bright as always.
” where did you go to?” Chidinma asked…

” am… sorry….I….” Nonso started.
” I want the truth…..” Chidinma stated.

Nonso stared at her,only her with so much emotions.
