The projector kept on displaying.
Nonso looked as tense as ever,it will really break him if something bad happens,the projector was taking long to display.

~Nonso Hampson wins with 100 out of 100 in 40seconds~~
the projector beeped with results screening boldly,a load shout erupted. He felt glistens falling upon him from the stage.

The spectators clapped with a loud shout,royal high students were not left out. Nonso was shocked,he kept on bowing to the crowd

“Tough tougher toughest. This is close to the impossible,he proved genus” the judges stood up,joining the crowd in the loud ovation.
Blaine hit his surveillance angrily and clapped quietly,his face down.
Emerald high director walked out in rage.

The ovation from the spectators got intense,the shout was ever increasing. Olive joined the students in waving a billboard that had Nonso’s name.

The reporters tuned to the tv.
reporting live;”royal high really came prepared this time. They have been clapping for the past 45mins, will their clapping ever stop?”

reporting live;”Nonso Hampson won at nationals with 100 out of 100 at finals, genie record broken”.

Nonso felt like the world was at his feet,the feeling of a hero he is feeling is unexplainable.
He liked it that thousands of cameras clicked his face,many reporters want to interview him and Lila.

“You’re very intelligent”Mrs Valeria said,she won’t stop clapping.
“Thank you educator” Nonso replied smiling,he received his gold medal🏅.
Lila recieved hers also,they held hands and bowed to the spectators. The awards were presented. Nonso got three awards. For winning at nationals,another for smart kid of the year,the last one was for best representative of the year.
Lila recieved two. The award for the school and another one for best student of the year.
Blaine got the first runner up award.

The camera clicks was ever increasing,it almost blinded Nonso’s vision.
“Am I dreaming?? I need to wake up” Lila uttered,she was visibly shaking in the inside but her princess pose made it feel like she wasn’t nervous.

The emcee took the award.
“All reporters should calm down,you all will get the chance to interview them personally” he said,the camera clicks reduced a bit.

The emcee smiled and wore the mouth piece for nonso,he handed Lila a microphone as well.

“You were pretty fast,how were you able to do that? Are you a computer?” The emcee asked Nonso directly.

“Time management is the key factor in identifying a real mathematician. I would like to use this medium to thank Educator Greene. I’m glad I didn’t disappoint you today, I looooove you” Nonso blew a kiss to the crowd.
Educator Greene smiled out tears.

“Meeenn if you survived this,you can survive anything right?” The emcee joked.

“Yeah,we can! Nonso and Lila said together.

“Quick question. Nonso Hampson, how old are you?” A judge asked.

“Seventeen”
“Waoow”
“Did you attend tutorials aside going to school?” Another judge asked.

“Noooo”

“Still unbelievable”

“All thanks to Royal high,the management behind royal high,my educators,the deen admin,the distinguished director and the ever precise school president for giving me an opportunity to showcase what I love doing. Viewers at home, what are you waiting for? Hurry and bring your kids to Royal high,let’s enjoy our dream together” Nonso spoke.

The director behind royal high clapped quietly.

“This are your rewards for winning at nationals” the male judge spoke. Two huge mansions with an expensive car screened.
Nonso owned a house and car while Lila got a mansion only.

“And this” the emcee present a billboard cheque of 36millionaire.
Nonso beamed,the emcee smiled and took it over.

“I ain’t presenting this until I see your parents” he stated.
“Are your parents here?”he whispered.

“No,my sisters are here”

Rema lit his eyes up,his eyes searched around for Chidinma but he didn’t see her.
Olive smiled at the world *sisters*, she even forgot they ain’t blood,she forgot so easily that she was an orphan.

“Let’s go”olive dragged Chidinma up so they can stand as Nonso’s parent. Chidinma suddenly felt shy, she hates public.
“Go alone,see the way people are looking at us”she whispered.
“Maybe because they wish to be in our shoes”Olive said in a loud voice.

All eyes followed them, olive simply smiled back at them.
“We are Nonso’s sister,cheer for us okay” olive whispered. People in their role started clapping.
Chidinma had no choice than to stand up,she hide behind olive shadow as they took a route leading to the stage.

Chidinma felt all the hair in her body standing,she held olive out of nervousness,she wondered if olive isn’t feeling any shyness.
The way people stared at them especially her.

Chidinma smiled to suppress her nervousness,she waved to people that stared at her to ease her nervousness. Well she wasn’t wearing that much unlike olive who dressed here to kill. Olive dressing could be mistaken for a stricking model.

Chidinma had on a white laced body hug gown that had different flower colors as designs,the gown was long with a slit at the back,her hair was weaved backwards in a pretty cornrows the front was gelled curling giving her face a sweet look,she came all natural with little earrings and a small bag.
Lila was shocked,she was surprised, curious as well. She never knew Chidinma was Nonso’s sister.

Rema stared at chidinma,she had looked away immediately their eyes locked. He smiled out dimples.
Nora saw the way he looked at her and clenched her fists angrily.

“You didn’t tell me you have pretty sisters” the emcee smiled at Nonso.

“Are they?” Nonso asked.
The judges smiled and finally presented the award.

Chidinma smiled at Lila and kissed her cheeks,she took photos with her before leaving with Nonso’s billboard cheque.

“Rema Jewel,you won’t want to miss this one”
The emcee took the mic.

This time,rema stood up and the organizers directed him through another route then he got to the stage. He bumped knuckles with Nonso.

Reporting live” Nonso Hampson is indeed lucky,bumping knuckles with Rema Jewel”.

“Lil brother, you’ve made me proud today. You’re like the brother I never had”

Nonso’s eyes glistened,he felt like he was soaring the sky as Rema said those words.

“If you ever need anything at all,am always at your service. Do you hear me?”he asked.

“Understood brother”
“Keep it up. I’m hoping to see more of your performance”
“Thank you brother”

He hugged him and both of them walked down the stage.

Night…….. Uyah/Hampson’s family.

Everyone was busy in the house,
Mrs Uyah won’t stop smiling,she felt so happy.
Nonso and Chidinma are her dream come true,although she had lost a child but nonso and Chidinma never made her felt the pain.

“Madam am true” a maid jerked her out of her thoughts.
“Okay,I will check it” she replied abd went to the kitchen to check what the chefs were preparing.
Her friends will be coming to celebrate with her tonight,she just need to fix somethings up.

Everything was fixed,
Her friends started coming,her families,both the ones that are always checking up on her and those that neglected her.

She treated everyone to a feast.
The maids she payed for the day cleaned up the whole place and left

“Where’s Nonso?” Mrs Uyah asked Olive who was coming down for dinner.

“In his room with his new brothers and sisters”olive replied. Mrs Uyah didn’t get her.
“New brothers and sisters??”
“Yes,his awards are his new brothers and sisters,he has been cleaning it everytime. Am sure he will bring them down for dinner” Chidinma who was also coming down for dinner said in a chuckle.

“Are you two jealous of my son? He’s not your mate ooo” Mrs Uyah said.

“Whaaaaaaatttt” olive and Chidinma said at the same time.
They pulled out chairs on the dinning.

Mr Hampson came downstairs for dinner,he sat beside Chidinma he likes sitting beside her on the dinning.

Mrs Uyah draw out her chair and started dishing the food.
“Did you see madam Tamara?” Mrs Uyah started.

“She came?” Chidinma widened her eyes.

“Yeah she came”
“And you let her in”
“Why not???
“Mom you’re unbelievable” she scoffed.

Nonso hoped down the stairs and drew out his chair beside Olive.
“Sorry. You were all waiting for me to come down right?” He asked.
“In your dreams,I thought you’ve found new families” Chidinma said.

“You and olive are really jealous” Mrs Uyah said.

“Mom,he cleaned that thing up to 200 times today am sure they would sleep in his bed tonight” olive chuckled.

“Table manners”Mr Uyah said.
“Sorry Dad”olive smiled.
They started eating.

“Nonso,you aren’t eating?”Mrs Uyah asked.
“Well you haven’t released my PlayStation 5,you seized it. You should release it now that I made you proud” he said as he munched on his steak.

“I will release it but if I seize it again,It won’t be released. You play with it too much”

“Thank you Mom….and my iPhone 12,have you forgotten you seized it too” he added.

“I will release them”

“Thank you Mom….and my….

“I will release them all”Mrs Uyah cuts in. Nonso smiled. That was a relief.

“Darling, Thompson called me earlier. He wants to meet up with the family”Mr Uyah said.

“Okay” Mrs Uyah replied simply.
“Chidinma do you remember Philip?” Mr Uyah faced Chidinma.
“Philip? From where?” She asked back.
“Mr Thompson’s son”

“Mr Thompson? Who is Mr Thompson dad? I can’t recollect”

“My friend. The fat man that always come visiting when we are still living in the dirty path of Bian city”

“Okay. The man that wears glasses”

“Ohh yeah,his son is Philip. You remembered the day you beat up Philip,you were just 5,he was 8”

Chidinma shrugged.

“Honey,why does Thompson suddenly wants to meet up?” Mrs Uyah asked.
“Philip just returned from the state. He wants him to meet Chidinma,or what do you think?”

Mrs Uyah suddenly dropped her spoon. Chidinma dropped the meat she wanted to munch on down.
Nonso paused his meal,as well as Olive.

“What do you think about that? Philip is so excited to meet you,he saw you earlier on tv today.” Mr Uyah said.

“Have given him a date”.

“Daaaaaaadd”.

Mrs Uyah stared at her husband, unable to say a word. Chidinma shook her head.

“I know what’s good,and I will never push you into a pit okay” he said.
“It’s tomorrow you’re meeting him” he added.

Chidinma stood up and rushed out of the dinning.
“Excuse me dad” Nonso stood up and rushed after his sister.
