King Jewel cornered his lips,a ray of hope flashing in his eyes. If chiamaka will let him see Rema by asking mere questions then it’s easier. What questions will she want to ask that he wouldn’t know.

“go on,chiamaka” he replied,happily.

Chiamaka glared at the lawmakers, thus people doesn’t deserve her presence at all.

“(Clears her throat) Jewel you have 15seconds to answer each questions” she stood up,pacing to and fro in the throne room. The aura of gracefulness seating round her.
For Jewel to really know she was really serious,she had asked a maid to bring her a stopwatch.

“Go on,my queen” Jewel gestured after she had set the stopwatch.
“My queen,are we also entitled to answer in place of the king?” One of the lawmakers asked..
“Yes”

*I will relax and watch you all fail*

“And if all my questions are answered wrongly,you loss the chance to forever ask me of Rema or call him yours. Deal or not?” She asked.

“Chiamaka,you’re taking this too far, have begged you enough already. How else do I need to prove am innocent of the past?” Jewel asked, feeling uneasy.

“Yes,you’ve begged me and that’s why am giving you this golden chance and if you fail,no more chances…
There are five questions and if you manage to score just one,I will consider you. My questions starts”

“Jewel,how old is Rema?” She asked,her face glued to the stopwatch already.
King jewel watched the stopwatch ticking as well,it came so unexpected and seriously he had no idea.

“Such simple question” one of the lawmakers said.

“2…26….25, he’s 25” he answered.

A smile plastered on queen chiamaka’s face.
“Wrong”
“Rema is 23,even his fans all around the world knows this. How much more the man that calls himself his father”

Jewel dropped his head in disappointment.

“Second question. What’s rema’s favorite color?” She asked, actually this was the only question he expected him to know.

“Blue” jewel answered. All guys likes blue,he had thought.

“Wrong”
“Rema likes Red,Rema and Red are like five and six”

“Third question. What’s Rema greatest achievement?”
“No idea”
*I thought as much*

“Fourth question. What does Rema likes eating?”

King jewel looked frustrated already,his face demeaning.

“Rice pudding” he muttered in between breath..

“Wrong, Rema likes grilled chicken and fries prepared hot by me or Chidinma or the ones sold at eat rite”

“My last question. What’s Rema’s height?”

King jewel looked so helpless,he felt terrible abd disgusted within himself. He is not worthy to be called a father,all thanks to ivory.

“Time up. If you want to get answer to the last question,you can ask the social media to see how many real families has” chiamaka spoke,no remorse in her voice. It was as if she knew jewel won’t get any of the answers since he dislike rema tight from childhood.

King jewel placed all the questions chiamaka asked to the internet. He was shocked,every bone in him as well.

“Chiamaka,all what happened in the past was a misunderstanding caused by ivory. Ivory had lied to me” he stated.

“Then fix your mess yourself”.
“Queen chiamaka please don’t do that”
“Have you ever know what pain in? Well am not a wicked woman,I will give you one more chance”

“You don’t need to thank me,just bring back the boy from the past 25years and I will let by gones be by gones” chiamaka said.

“Whaaaaaattt!! Everyone gasped.
“To bring the dead back to life. Impossible. He got burnt in the fire already”

“Is that what you think? Then forget about claiming Rema,after all Charles and tochi are still available I beg to take my leave” chiamaka walked out.

She walked out and caught Charles standing at the hallway. She cleared her throat,such an unfilia son!.

He must have been listening to her conversation in the throne room, who cares?.

Charles held his anger as queen chiamaka approached. Different dirty thoughts running through his mind.

“You can’t have so much blood pressure knowing fully well that your father now wants to see Rema” queen chiamaka stated,nkem chuckled quietly behind her.

Charles clenched his fists.
“Relax,I won’t give jewel a condition to disown you so as to get my revenge” chiamaka poised.

Charles anger got out of hand,he looked directly into chiamaka’s eyes.

“You don’t stare at queen mother in that manner!! Nkem growled,holding onto Charles neck, he almost punched him.
“My son,leave him alone”

Nkem didn’t listen until chiamaka tapped him.

“Charles,you don’t even greet your elders properly. I guess you should go back to creche to learn manner” chiamaka strode away.
Nkem followed her behind and purposely stepped on Charles foot.

The atmosphere got windy,the golden curtain at the window blew font and back.
Samuel shutdown his apple laptop and hoped upstairs to his room. He suddenly felt the urge to check on Chidinma before going to sleep and he did.

She wasn’t in.
“She went out” Emily,the maid replied.
“By this time!” Samuel cuts in, possessiveness in his voice.
“Is she crazy! Samuel rushed out,he looked around the compound,he didn’t see her. He rushed back in and grabbed his car key.

He didn’t have to drive much,he saw her in the estate,she was looking so worried and serious.

Samuel calm down. The estate was a safe place. No intruder can get in and besides there are surveillance and securities around.

The rain got heavy soon enough,he watched as Chidinma strolled into a covered area in the estate,there was a chair there and a shade in case of sun or rain. She sat down there like no one’s business.

Samuel sighed and reverse back in as much as he felt like taking her back but he doesn’t want to come in between her and Rema.
He just wants her to be fine.

After a while of waiting in the cold weather,Chidinma sighted rema’s car coming. She stood up immediately,waving her hand in the rain so he would stop.

“Oh god,let him stop”
“I told him it was a prank already, why am I so stupid?”
She thoughts.

Rema stopped.
“Thank you Jesus!!!
She rushed out,and he beeped his car opened immediately. She got in immediately.

“Thank you honey” she stated. Rema pressed his lips together without saying a word. He knew she was really pranking him,she can’t like any other person apart from him.

Why??

Because she never cheated on him when he pretends to be nobody why will she want to cheat on him now that she knows who he is…
The prank came unexpectedly and he stupidly fell for it.

“Thank you so much,honey. I’m really sorry. I will never do that again, am very sorry. You can check my phone if you want,I don’t even have any guy number on my phone apart from Stanley,Chris and nkem”

Chidinma won’t stop talking.
Rema didn’t respond and it made Chidinma sad that his face was still looking serious.

She sighed and leaned in to peck the side of his cheek.

“Stop that nonsense” Rema spoke.
“What?” Chidinma said but that didn’t stop her,she pecked him and let him shout all he want.
Rema stopped the girl and took his face away.
“What? I already apologize. You don’t love me anymore right and you want to break up?” Chidinma asked. Rema enjoyed the look in her face.

“I didn’t say that” rema replied.
“Okay then” Chidinma said and lean in to kiss him,she was really cold and she needs his warm embrace.

“Stop that nonsense,okay” Rema said, seriously.
“Rema,it’s me! Are you drunk?”
“Open the car door” rema said and Chidinma did.

“Get out” rema said.
“Me?? Are you serious?
“Yeah” he replied in a low voice.

Chidinma closed the car door and faced him.
“Listen! You can never break up with me! It’s either me or no one else”

Rema rolled his eyes,he was quiet impressed. He fell for her prank but she didn’t fell for hie own prank.

“Now drive!!” She ordered.
“You heard me right,get out of my car” rema said,trying to he serious deep in his heart he was smiling. How on Earth did he meet a crazy girl.

“It’s my car and I just said,I don’t want you anymore!” Rema replied.

He faced the window side all in smiles. It’s like his prank didn’t catch her. He didn’t know what happened next, all he heard was “mom,rema has started again!!.

He turned immediately and hijacked the phone from her.
Reporting him to who??
Who exactly did she call?

Chidinma chuckled at his expression.
“Happy pranking,I called no one”
She laughed and lock lips with him immediately,she deepened the kiss abd held him so much to herself. Rema stared at her, only her with so much expression as he responded to the kiss slowly.
