It’s been one month since the reconciliation, everything has been going smoothly for Chidinma,her career, Nonso, her family…just everything. She launched her resort which she named after her name and rema’s name- D&D safari valley resort and it’s doing well more than she imagined. Her goods don’t take long to sold out and that made her quiet impressed.

She employed Tina and Dika in charge of her resort and she pays them well. They are quiet good.

She has started taking her adult classes serious as well. Everything is just fine. King Jewel gave 30% of his wealth to queen ivory and charles and they moved out of the palace. The remaining 70% was shared among Tochi and Lila since Rema and queen chiamaka said they don’t want anything. Tochi will take up the throne as well. Everyone made peace,but no one knew Charles movements.

Samuel comes over once in a while to check up on them,and Chidinma could swear she sensed the lovey dovey between him and Olive.
She saw them…but pretends not to see.

“I love you so much,honey” Chidinma heard, she jerks out of her thoughts and looked around. She saw her make up artist,Kelvin.

“Kelvin did you say you love me?”
“No,but I love you
Chidinma smiles.
“Don’t worry,I must be hearing things.
“Okay

“I love you” she heard again. She smiled and deep her finger inti her ear,she felt an earpud . She remembered when Rema was playing around with her ears,she smiled. Rema was the one whispering in her ears.

“Good luck” he whispered gently.
Chidinma chuckled,her makeup artist looked in her face.

“Are you okay,madam”
“Yes,please”
“Okay”

Soon,her make up was done,she got dressed.

BACK AT THE HALL🤩🤩🤩

🔊 Welcome ladies and gentlemen to the fifth biggest contest in Bian city.

Everyone clapped.

🔊 We have 20 contestants but only one can wear the crown,who is it?

The crowd shouted,displaying different billboards containing their favorite names.

The first contestant walked in, the bikini she choose was waoow,her heels clicked sharply as she walked and her smile was seductive..That was Kendall Martins.

Nora Edwards was the second contestant; She catwalks in, everyone shouted her name. Her pose was so amazing,she was in all smiles as she posed but deep inside,she was depressed not because she knew she has low chances of winning but because she is now a toy in men’s hand, men in the industry. Loran makes sure all the men had her.

More contestants were called in, lastly Chidinma Hampson was called. The crowd screamed so much that the echoes shook everywhere.
Chidinma catwalks in. She wore a neon colored bikini and a long hairy jacket like feathers to cover up.

Designers were taking pictures of her, her combination got them crazy, she walked down,her pose majestic enough. She heard rema’s voice again.
“I love you”

She let out another blush,she searched for him with her eyes among the crowd. Maybe that’s just a waste of time, she can never try to eye search him among the huge crowd present. The hall was a stair cased.

“I love you,I love you more than I love the world” she heard him again as she continued her pose.

Everyone was screaming her name, Chidinma got scared the moment she felt a wave of dizziness stung her, her sight turned blurry immediately. In her eyes, the stage was upside down, she suddenly felt like she was in the middle of oceans and sharks were swimming towards her in speed.
She felt everywhere rotating, she lost track in her pose immediately.

“Ohh my god,not now” Rema hurried his face in his palms.
“Hey, just stand still honey,no movement!!

Chidinma was trying hard not to shake, it took everything in her to control the dizziness. She managed to make a small pose and she waved like a model before going to her stand.

🔊 Wow, it was a tough competition. Finally it’s over and our judges are getting the result ready.

Chidinma stood quietly. “I’m sorry Rema,I didn’t win. Our baby doesn’t want me to get this award”.

🔊 The result is out,the ex top model of Bian city will announce it”
The emcee walked down and the ex model took the stage.

🔊 Am honored to be given this opportunity. I have only one name here.

Silence….the silence was stretched.

🔊 Am sorry but others will leave this stage, only one person gets the crown. Congratulations Chidinma Hampson.
Everyone started clapping. Chidinma smiled out tears, Nora smiled as well she collected the crown and volunteered to crown her.

Everyone clapped as Nora placed the crown on chidinma’s hair, she wore her the sash as well.

“I’m sorry for everything,you deserve better”she wanted to hug her, Chidinma hesitated at first but then, she doesn’t want to embarrass her so she just took the hug.

“I love you all” she blew kisses from the stage and waved to everyone, pictures of her where taken from all angles. She was given the mic to say a word of appreciation.

“Thank you so much, I am so honored” she dropped the mic immediately she still hasn’t regained herself from the dizziness that surge her seconds ago.

Camera’s were flashing at her till she walked back stage.
Minutes after the show, she got dressed, her phones were beeping.
She picked the white one.

💌 Congrats” that was Nonso.
💌 I told you….you will have the crown, you wore me the bag brand” that was Lila.

💌 Congrats, beautiful” that was queen Iko, Tochi’s mother.

💌 Hey, congrats” that was a strange number.
The number was from a different country.
💌 It’s Charles….and I mean no harm”
💌 Ohh thank you,bye” she dropped the phone and her maids packed her stuff. She walked down the the red carpet, camera’s still followed her, she entered rema’s car and he drove off…

6years later.

A very annoying noise from the kids room made Chidinma jerked out of Rema’s arm immediately. The twins noise was getting out of hand seriously.

“I will so whip your ass mercilessly!!! That was Khai’s voice to his twin sister- Kaylani.

“You wouldn’t get a chance!” Lani replied in a strong troublesome voice.

“And I will report you to dad” khai threatened.

“Ohh really and I will also tell dad you were the one who scratched the gold fish aquarium, you also gave out your ps 5 game pad to your friend, you throw party everyday to your friends in the school cafeteria, you don’t have any savings….you lavish up to 6million every week,in fact am going to report! Maybe your brain needs some default settings, I’m reporting to mom first” Kaylani growls,in a voice that shows she meant it.

No words from Khai,he suddenly went quiet.

The twins are so adorable except for the fact that they spend most of their times quarrelling. At the age where most kids plays with toys, dolls, their gifts consists of bags, shoes, jewelry, phones and makeup kits. Whenever they go out, there is a driver following them and at home, there are maids at their beck and call serving them.

In school,their grades were passing excellently with Khai taking after Rema,in appearance,kindness, calmness and politeness while Kaylani is the opposite although in a little way. She’s troublesome, quiet polite.
They both are very identical that people mistake khai for a girl, since he also keeps hair.

At the age of five, the kids opened an art gallery. Although khai likes spending most of his time alone, he’s quiet grumpy, very grumpy only to his sister and he wouldn’t let anyone make his sister cry. Only him can make her cry, asides him no other person is qualified to make her cry.

Pain and suffering is never in their dictionary as the only way to describe their life was “victory”.

“Okay,it’s okay…don’t report me okay?” Khai switched his tone to calmness.

“Look here mister, that innocent eyes of yours can’t save you. Even if you open heaven,I will still report” Kaylani sticks her tongue out and made an attempt to take the stairs.

Khai’s fisted his hands to the side and pulled her pigtails. He yanked it softly. “I said,don’t report”.
The maids rushed out but no one made an attempt to separate the kids, they only stood around to make sure they don’t hurt each other

“Ohh no,my hair!! Mom!!!
“Mummy!!!!
“Daddie!!

“Little Ms CEO, will you shut your mouth and let dad enjoy his sleep”

Chidinma couldn’t take the noise anymore, she rolled out of Rema’s arm and slammed her face tiredly, her other hand on her waist, she had taken in already with her third child. She’s just 2month pregnant.
The little bump could be seen in the purple nightie she wore, nothing changed about her, she still had her young look. “Why are this children doing this to me? I’m so tired, must I be woken up with noise again. Honey look what this children are doing to me”

Rema couldn’t believe her eyes was wet again. He stood from the bed and hugged her from behind. “It’s okay, they are kids, they will outgrow it”

He lowered his head and kissed her bumped. “I will go caution them”

“No, they don’t take you serious. You play too much with them,I will go instead” she chuckled.
Rema curved out a smile, the kids are only like that each time he’s around but if it’s only their mom, they dare not pass their boundaries.

“What is happening this early morning?” Chidinma’s voice came calmly, but the kids knows better not to upset their mom.

Khai left Kaylani’s hair immediately. Kaylani straightened up immediately.

“Nothing mom,we are hugging each other. I love my brother so much” Kaylani said sweetly and pulled khai into a funny hug,she pinched his sides playfully.
Khai didn’t get the chance to return his own.

“Good morning Mom,did you sleep well? We won’t make noise again!” The kids rushed up to hug Chidinma one after the other.
She lowered to their level and kissed their cheeks one after the other.
“Remember, your daddie is traveling to Vietnam tomorrow….”

“Whaaattt again!!! The twins gasped.

“Yes,again. You’re free to disturb me with noise today and tomorrow, make sure not to cos he won’t be around and I restore you back to default settings”

“Ohh no mom, I don’t want default settings. Remember I love you Mom”

The maids chuckled.
“I love you too, but no noise no quarrelling with your brother and you no pulling of Kaylani’s hair, okay?”

The nodded gently, rema chuckled from behind and took Kaylani in his arm,he held khai and they both walk out.

“You’re spoiling this kids too much!” Chidinma scoffed and went back inside.

The woman sat celebrating and drinking. Olive came with her daughter, Diane, Nora who later got married to a white man came with her son,Dylan. The women were so happy to see each other again.

“What’s up Nora?”
“I’m fine, Zayn has been a good husband”
“We all have good husband’s”
They chuckled.

“Why that face, Nora? You don’t look happy?* Chidinma asked.
“It’s Dylan” Nora sighed.
“Your son? What happened to him?” Olive questioned.

“He’s repeating the same mistake I made in the past”

“I don’t understand, he’s too small to repeat the same mistake, he’s just 6, same age as my twins”

“That’s why am sad. I know am so proud in the past, now Dylan own is worst, he doesn’t want to mingle with anyone….he’s so” Nora burst into tears.

“Hey, it’s okay. It’s just a minimal issue. Just make sure he mingles with others, take him out to meet with other kids,he will learn and adjust” Chidinma suggested.

“And you think that works, have tried, it didn’t”

“Well, should I help you?” Chidinma asked.
“But I used to beat my kids oo, sometimes i reset their brains with anything I see in the moment”
Olive laughed.

“Kids over here! Mummy have a gift for you” Chidinma called out.
The kids stopped playing and gathered. Dylan came lastly.

“Khai, Kaylani, Diane meet Dylan, your new friend”.

“Hi,I’m Diane, mum said we should be friends”

“I’m not interested in being friends with a black girl, I already have a friend”

“Who?” Kaylani interrupts.
“You” Dylan replied.

“You do not have me as your friend, I wouldn’t get the chance to see your ugly face if your mom isn’t my mom’s friends and I wonder why she’s that” Kaylani replied.

Nora smiled,she was enjoying the show. Kaylani is quiet a savage.

“I’m not ugly, my mom says am a catch” Dylan replied.

“Well if my sister catch you,she will throw you back in the ocean” khai cuts in.

“Go ahead cos there are plenty fishes in the ocean” Dylan said, his white face turned red out of anger.

“Well when the fishes sees your ugly face,they will start walking on the land” Kaylani replied.

Nora almost burst into laughter, the twins are quiet a savage. Olive bursted into an uncontrollable laugh.

“Kids it’s okay, honey come here” Chidinma gestured unto Dylan and he rushed into her arms and rested his head on her bump.

“Nora this boy really took after you!”

“They are your friends okay,go to them” Dylan nodded. Soon the kids started playing with each other in the field.

The women laughed over them.
“Mom rocks” they make a toast to each other.
