I grabbed my phone beside the night light and stopped the
recording video.
Annie’s phone beeped and she turned Me immediately.
“he replied.” she stated.
“I can tell” I smiled at her.
“Now you read it and reply him, I’m not going to keep
replying him forever you know” I said laying back on the
bed.
“Come on June, I’m nervous here” Annie said and pulled me
back up.
“Seriously just be yourself and be free with him, I can’t be a
third wheel to you guys conversation that would be
awkward” I stated.
“Awkward, it’s not, and besides you can never be a third
wheel now please just help me out, it’s just a one night thing,
I promise by the end of tonight I’ll be able to text him on my
own” Annie said and I groaned very loudly showing her
how pained I am.
“Okay read what he sent” I instructed.
Annie nodded quickly and brought her head down and
closer to her phone “Great, let me guess you’re already at
June’s residence because of the sleepover.” Annie read out
loud and I gasped.
“See the way he’s free with you, he’s clearly starting a
conversation, don’t end it, keep the conversation going”. I
said to Annie and she nodded.
Annie smiled. “what should I reply then?”.
“I don’t know” I shrugged.
“What?? How can you not know” Annie half yelled.
“Because I’m not the one he’s chatting with. Now if you let
me if like to have my Beauty sleep now Annie” I said and
fell back on the bed. “And don’t you dare try to wake me up”
I said before closing my eyes…
I opened my eyes slowly to Annie typing on the phone little
by little. Well that’s the spirit.
And I fell asleep that way…

I opened my eyes to see sunlight bursting into my pupils
immediately. I shut my eyes and slowly opened them again.
“Rise and shine Cinderella, I didn’t know you slept this
much” I heard Annie’s voice and turned to the other side of
my bed to see her standing by my closet.
She had worn her clothes and her beanie was on her head
again.
“Leaving already?” I asked with a little yawn.
“Yeah, it’s getting to noon” she said.
“But you haven’t had breakfast yet, why do you want to
leave like that!”
“Well while you were still asleep your grandma and I made
breakfast and I had breakfast thank you for caring” Annie
smiled.
“So how was last night? Did you and Daniel… Took it to the
next level. Or…” I asked with a smile.
“What next level” Annie laughed. “We just talked and the
chat ended five minutes after you fell asleep” Annie said.
“Why? It ended so quick did you say something bad? Or…?
“I didn’t, it went great, we just talked and I ended the
conversation saying I have to go to bed.” Annie said and I
gave her a look
“Anyways, have you seen the news?” Annie said to me as I
got down from the bed.
“What news?” I asked and immediately Annie’s phone start
to ring.
“Yikes, it’s my mom, I’ve got to run bye” she said and
walked out of my room immediately.
I shrugged and head to the bathroom.
I brushed my teeth and as I dried my mouth with a towel, I
walked to my bed and grabbed my phone.
I opened my N’stagram the first thing I saw was on number
one today’s headline.^ERICK_J IS GOING TO MAKE A SPECIAL GUEST

I Blinked twice looking at the headline again.
My Erick. In a television drama? Well he’s making a special
appearance and all, but I was a bit confused cause I don’t
know the endanger film they were talking about.
But sure, I’m very sure Erick would make a great actor.
I decided to read the comments as I scrolled down and I
paused seeing them.

*Okay I just woke up and saw this news, is today a blessing
or what? Erick-J in endanger?? Could this series be any
more interesting or what?”
*Hold on, I’m literally screaming right now Erick as
GREL??? As in hinah’s long lost lover, so are you saying
we’ll be seeing Giselle and Erick getting intimate?*

*I’m trying not to scream, oh my God, this is… Amazing and
we know Erick-J is in a relationship and stuff but who cares,
he and Giselle will look perfectly great together*

I scoffed.
I hated that I scoffed but I did. And I couldn’t believe I did
but I did have every right to scoff. Erick and Giselle??
Really?
I don’t mind him acting… And of course acting with Giselle
but then again I don’t have a problem with it. But the way
these commenters are saying it like… They’re actually saying
that like Giselle and Erick are a couple and they suddenly
seemed like the whole world to everyone.
Of course I had every right to be jealous.
I quickly searched about the endanger series on the internet
and decided to read the series plot, see the casts too and
wow like o expected Giselle was the main character. Who
knew she was starring in such a popular series.
I slammed my phone on my pillow and breathed out a sigh.
Should I call erick.? Or should I not call him.
And is this the big news Annie wanted to talk about.
My phone suddenly starts to ring and I looked at the phone
to see it was Erick.
I picked it up.
Breathed in and out before answering the call.
“Hey babe” Erick’s cheerful voice sounded from the other
side of the phone.
“HI how are you?” I asked.
“I’m pretty good actually, though my schedule has suddenly
become really tight” Erick said and let’s out a small laugh.
“Let me guess because of the endanger series right?” I
asked and he gasped.
“You saw the news”.
“Sure did” I said with a small smile.
“And I didn’t know Giselle was the female lead.” I cleared
my throat.
“I didn’t either, I didn’t even want to take on the role of Grel,
but then Charles said it would be for my own good if I did
and I did, not knowing Giselle was the lead character but it’s
cool, at least it’s Giselle, someone I’ve met before if it was a
complete stranger it would have been awkward introducing
ourselves and stuff” Erick gave a small laugh.
“Why do I feel….” I sighed.
“Why do you feel what?” Erick suddenly asked.
Why did I even say that.
“Nothing, it’s nothing” I tell him.
“I know you June, it’s not nothing, now just spill it okay!” he
sighed
And I sighed too. “Okay, can I be judgy?” I asked.
“Judgy… Uh… I don’t know what you mean but sure be
anything!” Erick stated and sighed.
“I don’t like the idea that you are actually going to film this
Grel character”.
“Why? Do you think it’s a bad idea? I know I’m not really a
good actor, but it’s just a one episode appearance I’ll do my
best” Erick said cheerfully.
“No it’s not a bad idea but…” I sighed “But does have to be
with Giselle.” I whined like a child. “I’m confused… June, can you maybe elaborate” Erick said.
“Okay, online everyone is psyched about you and Giselle
being lovers and all in the series and they started to ship you
two saying how good you look as a couple… And.. I
suddenly felt tossed out” I explained and Eric’s sweet
laughter filled the air.
“Wait, I should get my head straight, are you jealous??”
Erick asked.
He’s seriously teasing me? Like right now? This dude must
be crazy.
“Don’t I have like every right to be jealous?” I yelled.
“Yes, yes of course you do have every right to be jealous,
but wow do you know what this means, I mean I’ve never
really seen you get jealous, it’s always the other way round.
But now you’re jealous and this makes me so much happy, I
feel like rewinding this day to when I first called you, wow!
June thank you, for getting jealous. Its an honour ” Erick
breathed out and I rolled my eyes. ” You’re weird” I tell
him.
“We both are, but seriously your jealousy just made my day,
but to tell you what, even if the entire universe ships Giselle
and I over one stupid episode of endanger, I don’t fucking
care. Why? Because you June, you’re my universe. They can
ship all they want but they should know that Erick doesn’t
rhyme with the alphabet G but with the alphabet J… I am
Erick-J for a reason you know, don’t ever forget that, the J
stands for June the whole world knows that too.” Erick
explained and I almost shed a tear.
“And to be honest, you’re June how can that little ship about
Giselle and I make you jealous?” Erick asked.
“It’s not also about the ship, in the series you guys are lovers
and of course you’re going to hold a kissing scene.” I said
lowly.
“A kissing scene, for christ sake I can’t kiss Giselle, nope,
never we are going to have a kiss scene but our stand ins are
going to be the one to kiss that’s why they’re called stand in,
these lips are never touching any woman’s lips” Erick stated
and I laughed.
“Oh please, you’re always so dramatic” I couldn’t help my
smile.
“did that help quench your jealousy?” Erick asked
“Yeah” I giggled.
“Good, get jealous more often June, because it makes me
realise how much you love me, and of course the feeling is
mutual and forever will be” Erick stated.
“Okay now you’re getting all cheesy I can’t help but laugh” I
blurted and I felt Erick breathed out a smile.
“Now you make me when to get even cheesier”
“If you do that, I’ll hang up” I threatened.
“I doubt it… June without you in my life it’s like having
pancakes without maple syI cut the fall and laughed. He thought I couldn’t do it.
I suddenly received a text message and I looked at my
phone to see it was from Erick.

I smiled and dropped my phone back on the bed.
I came down from the bed and decided to go have brunch. I
am free the whole week and wow, I feel relieved, now that
Erick has finally spoken to me on how he and Giselle’s
kissing scene would be fake.
After eating brunch, I want back to my room and decided to
call Erick back, we talked again and he asked if I wanted to
go with him to shoot on the day of his film shooting, I
agreed but I forgot I had my own career to move on with. I
thought I had the whole week of free time for myself. But
unfortunately Hannah called me and said my music video
shooting has been pushed back.
I canceled the plans with Erick, but it’s fine he can go to the
film set on his own, nothing will happen.
I started shooting my music video on Wednesday and we
had to move out of town for it.
Too bad I didn’t get to meet Erick before leaving.

Staying in an unknown city faraway from mahnline,
knowing no one but just your manager, and staying in an
hotel, is not very fun, Day six of shooting my music video
and it wasn’t very fun. The dance parts makes it very easy
for me to get tired and stressed out to do another shoot the
next day, but I was just trying my best.
Three more days passed and and finally we get to go back
home to Mahnline.
The ride home was fun cause we were going home and
that’s what makes it so much fun.
Hannah and I were in the car with vox driving when
Hannah focus on her phone released a “Huh?”
I turned to her but didn’t bother to ask.”What the…” she muttered again her eyes still shocked and
fixated on her phone.
“What’s wrong” I had to ask.
“Nothing” she quickly said putting her phone away.
“Hannah… I can clearly tell it’s something, so tell me what’s?
Wrong?” I asked.
She sighed and brought out her phone and slowly handed it
to me.
I looked down at my phone and the phone suddenly left my
hand.
