“I am not sure Mavis,” Thea replied with a sigh, she walked away from the window and fell on the bed.

“It is normal for me to feel insecure, right?” She asked. “Of course, she is his ex,” Mavis replied.

“I don’t want to think about her but it’s hard to get my mind off her, what if she is still in love with Cisco? What am I going to do?” She panicked.

“Calm down girl, you are Cisco’s present and future while she is in his past, don’t feel inferior to her or she is going to steal your spot,” Mavis said.

Thea didn’t give a response but simply stared into space. “Thea, are you there?” Mavis asked.

“I feel sleepy Mavis, speak to you tomorrow,” she said and hung up.

Thea walked out of her room and bumped into Cisco, he was on his way to her room with the look of things.

“Are you okay?” He asked and she nodded.

“Yeah, why?”

“Fiona said you have been in your room all day, you skipped lunch,” he replied.

“I was tired and I felt like resting,” she replied and quickly changed the topic. “How was your day at work?

“The same,” he shrugged. “Let’s have dinner,” he said and motioned at her to lead the way which she did, he was walking behind her and for some strange reason, she felt uncomfortable.

He pulled a chair for her at the dining table and she mouthed thanks, he sat close to her and the maids dished out the food for them.

“Thea, are you okay?” Cisco inquired. “Yeah, why wouldn’t I be?” She asked.

“You are worried about Chloe, aren’t you?” He asked. “No,” she answered swiftly.

“You are,” he insisted and she sighed. “Don’t be, she is not a threat to us,” he assured.

She dropped the cutleries and turned to face him. “Francisco, do you remember how we ended up here?”

“I don’t understand,” was his response, he was confused at the moment clueless about where she was driving at.

“You had insomnia and my voice was your cure, you asked me to be your fake girlfriend because you want to forget about Chloe,” she blurted.

“Ho…. How did you….” He trailed off. “I was in love with you before our fake relationship so there is no reason to pretend, I could read you like an open book. Your insomnia started with Chloe, our relationship started with Chloe, and everything in your life revolves around Chloe. Now tell me Cisco, should I feel uncomfortable and worried or not?” She asked.

“I know it’s hard to believe in the possibility that all will be fine but I need you to trust me, please,” he pleaded.

“I trust you, it’s Chloe I don’t trust,” she replied. “I lost my appetite,” she said and stood up.

“Good night,” she peck his cheek and left the table.

Cisco lost his appetite too and dropped the cutleries, he rubbed his eyes continually out of frustration.

Vin walked into the house with Flora in his arms.

“You guys finally decided to return,” Mr. Kings said and Vin turned to him, he was surprised to see Greg.

Greg stood up with Mr. Kings, Vin turned to look at Octavia who was happy to see him but didn’t want to show it.

“I will take her to your room,” Vin said to Octavia who nodded in response before leaving.

“Hi,” Greg spoke casually while Octavia just stared. “We will excuse you two,” Mr. Kings said and motioned at Mrs. Kings to come with him which she did.

“How have you been?” Greg asked. “Fine,” she answered.

“I am sorry for what I did,” he apologized. “Is that all you have to say? Sorry? Don’t I deserve an explanation?” She asked closing the gap between them.

“I am not cheating on you,” he replied. “Seriously,” she scoffed.

“I know it’s hard to believe but I want you to know that I love you and Flora and I will never try to hurt either of you,” he held her hand and stared into her eyes.

“Trust me Avia,” he leaned for a kiss but she looked away, he sighed and let go of her hand.

She folded her arm under her breast. “What do you want from me? What do I need to say to make you believe me?” He asked frustratedly.

“I don’t need you to say a word, Greg. That is not what I want, I need you to show remorse I want to know you feel sorry and regret what you did,” she stated.

“I regret it, more than you can imagine I hate myself for hurting you believe me I do. I should have never reacted the way I did, you were right to feel insecure and all. I am sorry for being the worst,” he apologized sincerely.

“What has gotten into you? Why are you suddenly like this?” She asked

“What do you mean?” He inquired. “You apologizing is something new, you are not trying to justify yourself,” she laughed. “It’s weird Greg I mean it’s not one of your numerous personalities.”

“Isn’t this what you wanted?” He asked. “You are confused, it isn’t about my wants it’s about doing the right thing, and with the look of things you don’t realize that yet,” she turned to leave but he ran towards her and wrap his arms around her.

“Don’t,” he pleaded. Octavia wanted to turn around and asked if something had gotten into him.

“Don’t…. leave me, I have done tons of things wrongly but loving you and our daughter is never wrong,” he sobbed silently.

“Did something happen?” Octavia inquired as his words sounded strange to her ears.

“Going back to the house and meeting it empty made me realize what I lost,” he answered and she turned to face him.

“I know you didn’t mean to hurt me or Flora,” she started and his eyes widened. “You do?” He asked.

“Of course I do, I love you and I know you but you gave us choice but to doubt you,” she pouted.

“I am assuring you that will never repeat itself, I love you,” he hugged her and she smiled as she hugged him.

He pulled away from the hug and peck her lips, Octavia deepened the kiss and it went on for a few minutes before they broke it.

“Will you come home with me?” He asked. “I would love to but Flora is asleep, she had a long day. We will return tomorrow morning,” Octavia told him.

“Are you sure?” He asked and she peck his lips. “There is your reply,” she smiled.

“I should leave,” Greg said and Octavia walked him outside, she kept smiling as she watched him drive out of the compound.

“Are you too Okay now?” Mrs. Kings asked as Octavia walked back in with a smile.

“Yes,” she beamed and rushed to hug her. “I saw a different Greg mom and I am so happy,” she giggled.

“I am happy for you,” Mrs. Kings said as she pat her back.

Mr. Kings watched from the room with his face void of emotion, he knew Greg had changed too.

He could tell by the little conversation they had a few minutes before their arrival, he rubbed his temple and wondered what was going on.

He went back into the room while Octavia and Mrs. Kings continued to hug.

Thea stood in the kitchen with Fiona, she found it hard to sleep so she got up early the next day.

“When will breakfast be ready? I am famished,” Thea said.

“Didn’t you have dinner?” Fiona asked and passed her a cup of tea.

“No,” she replied and sip from the tea. “Why? You didn’t have lunch too,” Fiona stated.

“I didn’t have an appetite,” she replied. “You have been moody since the new girl visit,” Fiona said.

“I don’t want to talk about it,” she shrugged and walked away only to meet Adrian at the door.

“G… Good morning,” he stuttered shortly. “Morning,” she replied and tried to walk away but he held her arm.

“How long are we going to do this?” He asked.

“Do what?” She inquired with a fake smile. “Ignore each other,” he replied.

“I am not ignoring you, I just don’t feel like talking to you,” Thea replied and free her arm from his grip.

“I wouldn’t want you to blame me for your lateness to work,” she added and walked away.

“Mr. Kings,” April called nervously as Cisco walked into her office. “What are you tensed?” He inquired.

“There is a lady in your office,” she reported. “What lady?” He inquired.

“She insisted on waiting in your office, she said she is your personal assistant,” April reported and he dashed into his office to meet Chloe sited on the armchair.
