“Can you?” Mavis asked and Vin nodded. “I have no reason to tell Cisco, he deserves it for being a jerk,” Vin replied
“I bet you haven’t had dinner, I and Vin will prepare something,” Mavis said and dragged Vin to the Kitchen before he could protest.
Thea smiled and went to join Sol on the couch, she was happy it felt like a burden has been lifted from her chest.
Thea fell asleep while watching the cartoon, Sol rested her head on a pillow to make her feel comfortable since she slept in an uncomfortable position.
About forty minutes later Vin went to get Thea since dinner is ready.
He smiled when he came into contact with her sleeping face, he missed her so much.
He wished he had confessed his feelings first, she won’t be so hurt at the moment. He squat in front of her and tried to stroke her hair but Thea opened her eyes before he could touch her.
“Hey,” he smiled nervously. “Hey,” she smiled and sat up.
“Are you alright?” He asked. “Yes, why do you ask?” She questioned back.
“Because I was sleeping,” She answered herself. “No, I mean… going through this alone,” he gestured at her baby bump.
“I was not alone, I had my mom, Allison, Mavis, Victor, and Sol,” she replied.
“Wait, did you say Victor?” He asked. “Yes, he happened to be there when I informed Mavis, and he has been a lot of help,” she answered.
“Wow! Was I the only person you couldn’t trust? Let me guess because I was Cisco’s brother?” Vin asked quite disappointed.
“I am sorry, I just couldn’t bring myself to tell you that I was pregnant for your brother based on the….” She trailed off.
“Because I had feelings for you,” he completed her sentence.
“Yeah,” she nodded. “I am fine, I just want you to be happy. I feel bad that you don’t trust me,” he mumbled.
“Don’t feel bad, I trust you. Things just happened too bad then,” she replied.
“It’s fine the past is gone, we should hope for a better future,” he smiled as he fought the urge to touch her baby bump.
Thea noticed and smiled, she held his hand and placed it on her tummy. “What are you doing!?” Sol snapped as he pushed Vin’s hand away.
Vin was stunned by his action, he stood in front of Thea protectively.
“Sol,” Thea called with her hand on his shoulder. “He is a friend, he means no harm,” she assured.
“No one is allowed to touch my best friend without my permission,” he stated
Mavis walked out of the kitchen just in time and she inquired. “What’s going on here?”
“He tried to touch my best friend,” Sol replied as he threw invisible daggers at Vin with his eyes
“It’s fine,” Mavis assured. “He is the baby’s uncle.”
Vin stood up with a smile and Thea gave him the look that says. ‘Sorry.’
“I don’t care,” he replied stubbornly. “I wonder if you will let anyone hold the baby once he is born,” Mavis shook her head and started setting the table.
“Let’s have dinner,” Mavis said and Thea stood up, Sol made sure to sit beside Thea so Vin would not get close.
“I am sorry for trying to touch your best friend,” Vin apologized. “You are welcome but you still don’t have the right to touch him,” Sol stated.
“Calm down Sol, I am your best friend’s godmother,” Mavis said and he rolled his eyes making him look funny
“Your eyeballs might fall off,” Mavis joked. “They won’t!” He replied.
“Can you all stop picking on Sol, is it wrong that he badly wants to protect his best friend?” Thea questioned
“We are not trying to kidnap his best friend,” Mavis replied and Sol stick his tongue at him.
Dinner was fun, Mavis wouldn’t stop picking on Sol and he didn’t quit talking back.
“Sol help me clean up,” Mavis ordered but he declined. “You don’t want to?” She asked and he nodded.
“Fine! Don’t, you won’t be informed when your best friend is born,” she threatened.
Sol knew she can manipulate everyone into keeping it from him.
“Don’t make me dislike you, aunt Mavis,” he warned. “Don’t make me kidnap your best friend,” she replied.
Sol glared at her and she glared in return, Thea knew the glaring competition won’t end until she intervened.
“Help her Sol,” Thea urged and he glanced at her baby bump before he reluctantly walked into the kitchen.
“Who is he? He is a handful,” Vin said as they sat on the couch. “Don’t freak out when you find out,” she warned.
She notices people tend to freak out when they find out Allison has a child. “Nope, I won’t,” he replied.
“Allison’s son,” Thea blurted. “You are joking,” he laughed.
“No,” Thea shook her head and he stared at the kitchen hoping to get a glimpse of him but he was gone.
“They have a lot of similarities,” He commented. “I know, but he is adorable,” Thea replied.
Vin laughed and his hand found its way to Thea’s baby bump, Thea glanced at him and smiled.
“Is it a He or SHE?” He asked. “I don’t know, I want it to be a surprise,” she replied.
“Oh,” he mouthed and concentrated on rubbing her stomach. “Do you think Cisco will find out?” He asked.
“He will eventually,” she replied. “What are you going to do then?” He asked curiously.
“I don’t know, he has his own family,” she muttered as she remembered running into him at the mall in the morning.
Vin knew she was talking about Chloe, he would have told her Cisco doesn’t love her and she is forcing herself on him but part of him doesn’t want him to know the truth.
“Yeah,” he muttered. “Your family must be thrilled,” she chuckled sadly.
“They aren’t,” he blurted. “I understand if Mr. King doesn’t like her, what about your mom?” She found herself really curious about their family.
“Mom never liked Chloe, no one did,” he replied and withdraw his hand.
“Let’s not talk about my family, it makes my head ache,” he joked but his heart knew it was the truth.
There was a minute of silence between the two, Thea suddenly missed Cisco at the moment.
She had no idea if it was her heart or the baby all she knew is she badly wants to be with Cisco.
She sighed and rubbed her stomach gently, Vin stared at her for a long time and part of him had the urge to tell Cisco.
“Can we go home now?” Sol asked as he walked out of the kitchen. “Sure,” Mirabel replied.
“Bye,” Vin pecked her cheeks and Sol cleared his throat. “Sorry,” he apologized.
“Don’t, she is all yours but my best friend is mine,” he replied and walked out of the door.
“Bye,” Thea hugged Mavis and followed Sol.
Thea dropped Sol before heading home, she fell on her bed and Mrs. Robert followed.
“You look tired,” She stated and took off her shoes, she massage her feet.
“I am tired,” she replied. There was a long silence afterward.
“Mom,” she called. “Humm,” Mrs. Robert respond.
“Can I ask you something?” She inquired. “Yes,” Mrs. Robert answered.
“Will I be enough for my child? Will I be able to fill the role of a father as well as a mother?” She asked and Mrs. Robert stood up.
She sat on the bed and rested Thea’s head on her lap, she stroked her hair gently.
“I don’t know but I am sure of one thing, you will be an amazing mother,” she assured.
“I love you mom,” she said and closed her eyes.

Chloe stood beside Cisco like a nagging wife, he was working on his laptop but Chloe would not let him have a breathing space.
“You left me at the mall,” she started. “I want compensation,” she stated.
“Have you lost it? Can’t you see I have better things to do than pet you?” He inquired furiously.
She asked him to spend the night rubbing her stomach.
“Why should your job be mo important than your child?” She questioned. “I need you, our child needs you.”
“Leave this room, Chloe,” he uttered calmly. “We are leaving together or better still we spend the night together,” she replied stubbornly.
“Leave or I am going to send you out of this house with that pathetic thing in your womb!” He snapped and he was slapped.
Chloe breathed heavily as she glared at him. “I hate it when you speak trash about our child!” She yells in tears before running out of the room.
Cisco stood up from the armchair and walked into the bathroom, he washed his face. It felt like her palm let a stink and he hated it.
His phone him as he walked back into the room, he picked it up and tapped on the message.
*Do you think I will come back for Chloe?* Cisco read.
*I am watching you*
