Chloe cried throughout the night as Cisco’s harsh words rang in her head, he said he doesn’t love her, he called her a baby mama.

She knows his heart beats for Thea, but she never thought he would say it to her face.

Chloe hugged her knee to herself as more tears escape her eyes, it felt like her whole world was crumbling.

Everything she spent years preserving is being ruined, she screamed in pain and pulled her hair.

Though it hurts she ignored it, her heart was hurting more.

Cisco could not sleep either, he felt guilty for what he said but it is the truth.

The next morning, Cisco stood in front of the full-length mirror fixing his tie. He smiled in satisfaction and walked out of the room downstairs.

He was hoping to meet Chloe fixing Mitchell’s meal but the table was empty, he guessed she woke up late due to last night’s incident.

He sat on the table and brought out his phone from his pocket, he checked the messages on his WhatsApp first.

He browse the internet for more than twenty minutes but Chloe didn’t show up, he decided to go to Mitchell’s room.

“Princess,” he called with a smile and opened the door to find Mitchell’s sites amidst toys, her baby oil was spilled on the floor too.

She was in her nightwear no he knew no one has been in the room, he rushed towards her and carried her.

“Why are you a mess?” He asked but the girl only giggled, he took her to the bathroom and bath her.

He dressed for her and ordered a maid to clean her room.

While doing this his shirt was ruined and he had to take Mitchell to his room, he changed his suit and all.

He fed her in the dining, and while doing this he hoped Chloe would walk downstairs and give an explanation as to why she ignored the girl.

“Why isn’t she out yet?” He wondered and dropped Mitchell on the couch, he changed the TV channel to cartoon.

The unusual chores exhaust him, and the last thing he needs is to fight with Chloe.

He knocked on the door but no response was given, he was losing his patient already.

“Chloe, it’s morning you know,” he said as he opened the door. “I understand that you are mad at me but you shouldn’t ignore Mitchell, do you…” He stopped talking when his hand made contact with her neck in the process of removing the duvet.

“Chloe,” he called and she opened her eyes slowly. “You are feverish,” he mumbled anxiously.

“Why are you in my room?” She questioned weakly. “Why are you in bed?” He questioned back.

“I am sorry, I try to get up but something keeps pulling me back. It’s hard to keep my eyes open too, it must be…” She trailed off as she didn’t want to tell him she cried.

“I will be up soon,” she muttered and tried to pull the duvet over her head but her hand was shaky.

“You should be in the hospital not in bed,” Cisco stated and rushed to her wardrobe.

She was in her nightgown, he picked her trench coat and wrapped her in it, he carried her in a bridal style and rushed her downstairs.

He ordered a maid he saw to bring his car keys, the maid opened the car for him and he dropped Chloe in the passenger seat.

He rushed back inside and picked up his phone, Mitchell watched confusedly, she was too young to understand but she knew something was wrong.

Cisco dialed Vin’s number and prayed he would pick up, he did and Cisco spoke immediately.

“Chloe is sick, I need to take her to the hospital. Please come and pick Mitchell up.”

He didn’t wait for Vin’s response before cutting the call, he rushed out of the mansion and hopped into the car, he drove wildly out of the estate.

“Was that uncle Cisco?” Flora asked and Vin nodded. “Are you alright?” She asked again.

“Yeah, we have to drop by his mansion,” Vin replied. “Do we get to see Mitchell?” She asked.

“We are picking her up,” he replied and Flora giggled, Nathan was sick so Octavia was busy taking care of him.

Vin decided to hang out with Flora to ease the burden, they were in the ice cream parlor close to Thea’s apartment.

He planned to take Davis out too but there seems to be a change in the plan now, he walked Flora to his car with ice cream in her hand.

They got into the car and drove away, they reached the mansion after twenty-seven minutes.

Flora was the first to get out of the car, she ran into the mansion and met Mitchell having fun in front of the TV.

She was dancing, Flora stopped to watch her. She looked really cute, Vin walked in a few seconds later and the beautiful view stopped him too.

“Doesn’t she look like an angel?” Flora asks after she noticed Vin’s presence. “Yeah,” Vin replied and Mitchell turned to face them.

She smiled displaying her six baby teeth, Flora knelt with a leg and her arms wide open.

“Mitchell!” She called and she ran into Flora’s arm. Flora carried her and Vin poke her cheeks.

Mitchell giggled and Flora peck her face, she planted kisses all over her face.

“Where is aunt Chloe?” Flora asked. “Let’s go,” Vin ignored her question and they walked out of the mansion.

Flora tickled Mitchell on the way to Thea’s place, she kept making her laugh.

“Flora,” she called and Flora blushed. “So you knew my name uhh,” Flora tickled her more.

“We are here,” Vin announced and Flora stared around strangely. “I have never been here,” she said as she stepped out of the car with Mitchell in her hand.

“I know,” Vin replied and led the way, Mitchell pulled Flora’s hair as she wanted her to continue tickling her.

“Mitchell, you are ruining my hair,” she complained and they stopped at the door.

Vin pressed the doorbell and Allison opened the door. “Aunt Allison?!” Flora’s eyes widened.

“Flora,” she mumbled. “You… You are Flora?” Allison asked as she was unsure.

The girl she is staring at looks older and prettier than the flora she knew back then, what was she expecting it’s been two years.

“Yes, you look prettier,” Flora complimented and she blushed. “Come in,” Allison stepped out of the way.

“Hey,” Vin side-hugged her. “I am guessing this is Chloe’s daughter,” Allison said as she stared at the little girl.

“Yeah, Mitchell,” Flora introduced her. “Hi, Mitchell,” Allison waved but the girl’s eyes were fixed on the TV.

Davis was watching the TV before he went into Sol’s room, Sol was playing a game on his phone but Davis wanted him to watch cartoons with her.

Mrs. Robert was not around, she went out. “I will get you guys a glass of juice,” Allison said and went into the kitchen.

“Mom!’ Sol screamed from his room while Davis ran out with Sol’s phone, Sol ran after him angrily.

“Mom, I tell Davis to give me my phone!” He yelled while Flora stared at him with a smile.

Sol looked funny at the moment, his brows were furrowed and he was breathing heavily.

“We have guests,” Allison informed him as she walked out of the kitchen with a maid behind her, the maid was holding a tray with two glasses of juice on it.

Sol noticed Flora and smiled, she looked like a goddess. Flora stared away and Davis cleared his throat.

“I didn’t notice,” he muttered shyly. “Hi, Sol,” Vin waved.

“Mr. Vin, have you come here to take my best friend?” He asked and Vin shook his head sideways.

“No, I brought him a new friend,” he replies and gestured at the kids who were playing with Sol’s phone.

“Davis!” He screamed and rushed to take his phone, it was hard getting it from them.

“Why are you two so strong?” Sol wondered as he stared at them with his hand on his waist.

“Let me help you,” Flora volunteered and knelt beside the kids. “Give it Mitchell,” Flora opened her palm but the kids ignored her.

She tried to take it by force and as she was dragging it with them, Sol tried to help her. The kids left it unexpectedly when they realized they are powerful than they are.

Flora fell on Sol and they both fell with a loud thud, Sol smiled at Flora.

‘I must admit, she looks beautiful,’ Sol thought but his thought was disrupted when Vin pulled Flora up.

“Are you hurt?” He inquired worriedly. “No, uncle I am fine,” she smiled.

“We are leaving, we need to see Cisco,” Vin said, he couldn’t get his mind off what could be wrong with Thea.

“But you just got here,” Allison said

“Can I come with you?” Sol asked and Vin stared at him suspiciously.
