Jericho was surprised.

“But why?” He asked over the phone.

“Just do it, Jericho. Its extremely important. Come over now” Klaus replied and ended the call

Jericho was still muddled. Why was it so important for him to come over huh! Yet, nobody was giving him a reason.

He looked at Valerie on the bed as she slept soundly, her face growing more pale.

He looked at the phone, then at her. And something came to his mind….

“My good boys” Hapitha laughed as soon as Ethan ended the call.

She brought the phone down from his ear and returned to the table with it.

“You’re so brave, you know that?” She smiled as she mixed some things on the table.

“You’re never getting away with this, Hapitha” Ethan suddenly said from behind, his voice sounding gruntful.
They were both in chains. And of course, Hapitha wasn’t the type to use just ordinary chains on them.

“Oh…!” She turned and laughed scornfully. “You’re so funny, dear Ethan. I’ll never get away with it? How?”
She laughed again, then turned back to face the table.

“Your father really thinks he can take me down with his three tiny boys. Oh! He must be a greater fool than I thought he was’.

“Don’t call him that!!” Klaus yelled but was suddenly caught off withthe painful grunt.

“Dear Klaus, I hate seeing you being so hurt. Don’t stress it okay?” She said mimickingly and laughed.

“The Key’s mine and mine alone” she continued. ” And when I’m done, I’m going back home to open the door with it – on my own.

“Your father sent you to kill me, right? Well… I’m gonna send a message back to him…with your heads. In his next lofe, he’ll know better than to mess with Hapitha”.

“Lincoln…” ivy called as soon as he showed up at the door. .
Why wasn’t he moving? Why wasn’t he coming in?!

“Ivy?” Lincoln called in shock.”It’s…Its true. The rumors and pictures on the internet are true. What happened to you?”

“I don’t know. I swear, Lincoln. I dont know. I was just ..I was just at the mall and…all of a sudden, my hair… it started falling out. Please… you need to believe me” Ivy whimpered

“Why are you begging him, Ivy?” Her mum suddenly snapped in. “is he in love with you or your hair?”

Lincoln was more concerned about her new looks and not even her mother’s words.
Geez! She was looking like a horrible boy.

“I’m sorry, I… I’ll be back” he stuttered and left, while Ivy bursted into more tears.

Jericho sat quietly in the car, staring at the house in front of him.

That was the address Klaus had sent to him. But soemthing in his guts kept telling him it was a terrible idea to go near.

He reached for his phone and dialed Klaus’ line and just at the last beep, he picked up.

“I’m outside, Klaus” he said. “come out and get me”.

There was a pause.

“I…I can’t, Jericho. Just get in” Klaus answered hesitantly, but Jericho wasn’t buying it.

“If you can’t get me, then I’ll just drive back home”.

“Hapitha is here, Jericho! We can’t let her get away!” A voice suddenly yelled and Jericho recognised it to be Ethan.
Whaaat???
