JERICHO’S WEAKNESS Episode 43

Jericho watched her closely as her pretty lids fluttered open. Ethan stood up from the bed Immediately, making Jericho go closer.

“Valerie, hey” he cooed and held her hand which was still feeling so cold.

Valerie was dazed, her head muddled.

She could hardly hear a thing and the sudden brightness from the window seemed to disturb her and make her eyes go closed.

“Oh..” she made a faint sound, her entire muscles feeling so weak.
Where was she? The last she could recall, she had been with Jericho when all of a sudden….

Her eyes went open immediately as she thought of the name *Jericho”.

Someone seemed to be holding her hand and when she looked, she discovered it was Jericho and he was sitting right beside her.

“Jericho?” She called fraily,her brows furrowed in Surprise.

Her eyes searched the room and found Ethan as well and she flinched but was too feebled to move. She seemed to be in their mansion. What if he hurts her???

“Hey, Valerie. Can you hear me?” Jericho asked calmly and she looked at him and replied with a nod.

“What happened to me?” She finally asked after a few seconds realizing she needed to say something.

Jericho paused and shot Ethan a glare, then turned back to her.

“It’s um…it’s a long story. But you’re fine now” he told her and she just sighed in relief.

“Guess I’ll be outside” Ethan interrupted them and left the room.

“Why did you bring me here?” Valerie asked as soon as he left. “What if he… What if he hurts me?”

“Hey, Ethan is cool okay? He won’t touch you” Jericho said reassuringly and squeezed her hands tighter into his.

“I’m so sorry for dragging you into this, Val” he said . “You shouldn’t be here; you shouldn’t be going through this. It’s just…it’s always been my personality to hurt people and I…” He paused when he noticed he was acting un-Jericho.

Valerie could swear she had seen something like guilt in his eyes, but as soon as he blinked, they were gone.

He looked at her face and instantly, rbe spots vanished, but Valerie didn’t realize. Then, he stood up.

“You should get ready and leave. It’s not safe for you here” he spoke icily and left the room.

He walked out to the aorri the room, took a cigarette and lighter from the table and stuff it in his mouth after litting it.

Smoke emanated from his mouth and nostrils as he took several drags from the cigarette.

“Jericho” he suddenly heard a voice from behind and turned to see it was Klaus.

“Hapitha is awake”.

They walked into the room and met Ethan there already, standing in front of Hapitha who was tied to a chair.

Her hair was rough and made her look like the witch she was.

“Has she told you where it is?” Jericho looked at Ethan and asked.

“Sbe wouldn’t say a word, Jericho” he replied.

Jericho took a drag from his cigarette and dropped to a crouch in front of her so the smoke goes right into her face.

“Let’s make this quick, Hapitha” he said. “Where is it?”

“Oh, you spoilt little boys” Hapitha said with a snigger. “You’ve been here for only a few months and you already smoking? Does your father know about it?”

Ethan and Klaus glanced at each other. Urgh…this was really not going to end well… especially with someone like Jericho.

Jericho took another drag from his cigarette and this time around, he placed the burning end right on her, creating a sizzling sound.

Hapitha yelped and threw her head backwards and he didn’t stop until the light was out.

“There are two things involved, Hapitha” he stated gruffly as he stared at the red mark on her leg.
“It’s either you tell me where the key is, or I torture you and you still gonna tell me. Choose widely”.

“Let me go, Jericho. I don’t know where it is. It died in Drake’s possession!” She yelled angrily and while Klaus and Ethan acted surprised, Jericho didn’t even flinch.

“Get me the knife, Klaus” he said and without hesitation, Klaus took the knife from the table and placed it on his palm.

Hapitha watched in sheer horror as he brought it close to her thigh.

“Too bad you went with the second option” he muttered and drove the knife right into her leg.

“Ahhh!!” Her screams were almost shaking the wall.

“No!! Jericho!!” She cried out.

Jericho took out the knife dripping with blood and cleaned the surface on her laps.

“One more chance” he took the knife to her foot this time around and stabbed right there on her bones.

Oh, damn!! For someone like Klaus, he could hardly keep up with the sight due to his abilities. How could Jericho be so brutal?

“I’ll tell you!! I’ll tell you?!” Hapitha finally screamed, her voice cracking due to the pains she felt.

Jericho didn’t pull out the knife but left it stuck there on her feet.

“I’m listening..” he said, ignoring the fact that the pains could prevent her from speaking clearly.

“It’s in my…. underwear” she said at last, grunting painfully.
