EPISODE 12
Jasmine’s POV
***
“So how was your weekend? ” Jennie asked.
“It was just okay” I told her trying not to look unhappy.
“With the Shannon guy? ” She asked and I gave her a what-do-you-mean look.
“I mean,were you able to make friends with him? ”
“No” I shrugged.
“Why not? ”
“He won’t let me” I said.
“You must have hurt him really bad, so he finds it hard to forgive you.. ” Jennie said feeling sorry for me.
“I know, his sister I called a zombie as gotten along so well with me and she likes me. Everyone makes mistakes and sooner or later, they’ll realise their mistakes..but he is hurting me as if I made the biggest mistake on earth” I frowned.
“May I ask you Jasmine? ” Jennie asked.
“If it has to do with the guy in my house, pls don’t ask ‘cos it will only hurt me more”
“Well, less about him but more of you though I have asked you before”
I wonder what it was..
“Anyway ask” I permitted.
“Do you like Shannon? ” She asked..
I should have known that she’s going to ask me that again.
“It’s obvious you do, it’s written boldly on your face and looks like he doesn’t like you too.. You want my advise don’t you? one, change completely…two, please him, do whatever he wants and ensure you impress him. .I’m pretty sure he will like you back” Jennie said.
“I don’t like him, end of story” I yelled at her..
Just then, a junior student stepped on my shoe..
I looked up to see an unkempt little figure “Are you blind? ” I shouted at the little boy.
He began to cry..
“See, when it has
to the with Shannon, you are a changed person but you are completely not” Jennie said,i sighed and frown again.

Mom waited for dinner and Dad joined her after having his shawor…It has been an hectic journey indeed.
I helped Shannon with dishing out the dinner although he didn’t want me to, I insisted.
“Mom, you would love it” I said smiling and I smiled at Shannon too but he avoided me.
“Whao,Jasmine,Shannon..I can see you both have gotten along so well” My mom said.
“Yes Mom, It’s cool to be a changed person” I said.
“Wonderful ‘cos i’m sure of just one thing, you can never help or assist someone” My Dad said.
“Bygones!,I’m the most generous human on earth now ” I dramatized.
Shannon wasn’t even interested in my drama,he walked away after looking at me like I were a dummy.
I sat down in front of mom and dad as I watched them eat.
“You believe I’m a changed person right? ” I said again.
“We didn’t doubt you,you showed it yourself” Mom responded.
“Having a nice character doesn’t hurt, I was once like you” Dad added and mom stared at him and smiled abit.
“Well, here I am with the best behavior everyone loves” I said.

“Mom, Dad Shannon finally made up his mind to come to my school” I proclaimed.
“Really? That’s good to hear. He has finally made the right choice atlas! ” Dad said.
“Where’s he? ”
“Shannon” I called
“Dad wants to have a little conversation with you” I added b’cos he may refuse to come.
Emily came along with him.
“It’s good you made a second thought and you arrived with a good decision” My Dad said to him.
“About what? ” He asked looking confused and I tried to wink at him.
“Jasmine said you’ve decided to complete your high school”
“I.. I. What? ” He stammered and saw me winking at him.
“I said so, I did” Shannon said and I smiled.
Finally!
“Kuya, so we would go to school together and return together? ” Emily excitedly said.
He sheepishly smiled at her before thanking my dad for approving to send him back to the school, he never made up his mind to go to.

Shannon’s POV.
She opened the door almost as soon as I knocked on it.
“Shannon” She exclaimed seeing me..This is the first time I would come to her room, it might be the last too.
“Come on in” she pulled me in.
“Why are you acting like we’ve known eachother for so many years” I smirked.
“B’cos that’s what I want and welcome to princess Sofia’s room” She said.
I gave a small laugh but when she caught me doing so, I quickly stopped.
“Hey you! Why would you lie to your parents that I decided to come to your school?? ” I yelled at her like I was angry with her.
“I did that because I wanted to make it up to you and trust me, you would love my school” She said.
“You wanted to make it to me, well you haven’t” I scorned but she smiled.. She was glad I came to her room to see her.
Jeez, why did I come here at first?
“I came to shun you for lying against me and leaving me with no other alternative than to accept and listen to your Dad.. If you’re thinking you impressed me already, sorry to tell you miss witch, you didn’t…we are not friends yet ” I said then turned the door knob and left her room.
I must have hit her in the right spot..
I smiled peeping through her door to see her moody and sober..
Interesting! I’m beginning to derive joy seeing her sad.
