fresh blood trailed down my jaws which made my guards trembled and drop their protective weapon out of shock then three of them rushed to cover me

Obi finally moved away from the waterfall,he turned to me and was shocked when he saw the blood but he didn’t let the surprised face show.

I got angry,yet afraid to talk more.
what if I bite my tongue again?.

he scoffed when he look in my eyes. “Prince Eze,mind talking again”.

I clicked my tongue in anger,it really hurts.Does he have some supernatural power or is it just a coincidence? I look angry,pained, confused and curious.

“you think you’re smart, ain’t you?”I speak..
Obi pouted sweetly as he connected his earpud in his ears.”Eze are you not afraid of biting your tongue for the second time?”he asked.
“hunnn”.

i watched dip his wet fingers into the waterfall,only his gold ring glittered when he brought out his phone. It has a waterproof glass all over.
He walked past me directly.”Till then, I hope you’ve learned some manners today”.he added,warningly.
I couldn’t help but watch his back view till he was gone.

I warned the guards not to tell anyone what transpired in the waterfall,it made me look foolish already.
.was it a coincidence?
does he have powers?

obviously not because he was shocked when he saw the blood.
my thoughts were distracted by a knock.

“come in”I said and sip out of the fruit wine.imagine..I can’t even take alcohol because of the damn tongue.

“my prince”I heard, i turned still with my glass of wine it was a maid.
“food is set sir..royals dinning” she curtised.
I blinked and nodded.
the maid was a dark skin,her waist alone was a fire,as tiny as a wire..
what was I thinking? getting laid with a maid.I better control myself,I hate commoners.

Ebuka sat opposite Emeka while like six maids were around the dinning. I joined.
My food was dished.White rice,beef stew sauce with mackerels and shrimps.
I used the fork to pick a meat..then I remembered my tongue.

gosh! I can’t eat pepper right now. I dropped the fork and drank water silently.

“not eating”emeka said while ebuka gilrinned.I shook my head maybe I should just explain what happened to them.

“you guys know obi right?”I asked.
“yeah that expensive celebrity” emeka chirped in.
“hmm we had a cruise today, he told me to bite my tongue,I don’t even know how I did it..I spat out blood,it was really a deep cut”I explained.

“Whaaatt!!
you should have gotten him arrested, why will he get into a cruise with you?”Ebuka asked.
“get obi arrested? Ebuka is your brain really in use what if what happened was a coincidence..

it might be a normal thing.
you know when two kids fights, one can tell the other one to fall down if he’s pained.There’s just 50-50 chances..
all that are coincidence”Emeka said.

“well I don’t think its a coincidence because the way he told me to bite my tongue..
I don’t seem to understand his aura” I said

“well its a coincidence”emeka said.
“why do you say so?”I asked.
“only Amadi had that power of authority according to history”he said.

“who’s Amadi?”I asked.
“Well Amadi stands for Amadioha and he is the god of thunder and vengeance”he said but I don’t seem to believe in that myth.

“so you’re not actually going to eat tonight”Ebuka mocked..
Emeka laughed and filled my glass with more water.

Eric’s p.o.v⏰⏰
I headed off to the joint lake house.
the boys are in;oh no one.I entered and was surprised to meet Kelly. He is actually new,the industry just signed him.He might have came here to practice for the live show we have at banana island.

“hey,hi”he said.
“oh welcome to our place”I smiled and shook hands with him.He look cool and friendly.
I hope obi gets along with him cos he look friendly, the last person that was brought to join was removed.Obi might be bossy sometimes and the industry dare not obi him.

I headed upstairs while I check time in my gold wrist watch.
“practice when obi returns,Jerry should be on his way”I said.
“hungry people don’t practice”Jerry said.
“hmm you better don’t call the cook, it will end in tears cos you will regret eating what she cooked”I said.

“but the board just changed the cook to a male since the woman is incompetent”he said.

“Fine,i will be back shortly” I said and went to the large kitchen.
I met the new chef.
“my greetings sir”he said.
I nodded as I opened the fridge to take a chiled plastic water.

“what should I cook sir? I don’t know your preferences”the chef said.
“ohh that’s simple.
🍝 pasta and veggies for me
🍛 fried rice and chicken for Jerry.
………
maybe you could just make meat sauce for Obi..and strawberry slush and fruit salad, he’s very picky and would possibly eat one of those.
Ask Kelly what he wants”I said and left..
⏰⏰⏰ An hour later.
.the food was ready,the aroma says it that the food will be okay.

“finally”Kelly said as we sat.
obi and jerry are yet to come,what’s holding them.
Someone came in.

“is that food?”he asked.
“no,water”I laughed.
“thank god they changed the cook,I was already thinking of how to face another salty meal”Jerry said as he tapped my head playfully.He sat beside me.
Kelly just chuckled. He seems to be getting along.

Jerry poured my pasta in his fried rice and hit his spoon with my head. “hey have you forgotten we always eat together”he said.Kelly chuckled.
“its nice joining your band,you guys act like brothers and sometimes kids I haven’t had this type of fun while growing up”Kelly said..

he glanced at Obi’s sit,
he will soon join us.

Three glass plates were covered in front of obi’s seat then two dish warmer and a flask for warm water.
“don’t tell me the chef cooked for Obi”Jerry said and wanted to uncover obi’s food.
I held his hand playfully.

“this bad habit you need to stop it,too much of food is not good”I said,jokingly.
Kelly laughed and choked,I passed him the water.When he took the water I saw the royal tattoo meaning he’s a prince.
“thank you”he said.

Obi arrived and catwalked to his seat on the dinning,he was on phone and chewing a bubble gum.
is this someone that wants to eat.
He uncovered a plate absentmindedly ~~the meat sauce.

he used the fork to eat a meat and swallowed it very slowly.This boy won’t change.5minutes to eat just one meat.
“its salty”he said,yet used the fork to pick another meat.

“are you sure?”jerry asked and wanted to eat from obi’s plate.Obi smiled and hit his hand with his fork.

“its salty doesn’t mean am not eating”obi pouted and used the fork to pick another meat.
He got engrossed in his phone and forgot he was eating.
He didn’t notice Jerry was eating out of his food. I drank the fruit juice quietly.

Jerry stopped when obi wanted to look down.Obi looked down and ate the one in his spoon and was surprised the plate was empty.

“have really ate a lot”he said.
“aaah you really ate a lot”Jerry said. Kelly laughed lowly.
“and you said am a slow eater, Eric I won that challenge”he said and dropped his fork.

He drank the warm water.He got engrossed in his phone.
Jerry picked the key to the new car he bought to add to his fleet of cars. He didn’t notice it was taken by jerry.

Jerry just love troubling Obi and its fun watching them like that.
“Practice in the next one hour” Obi said and stood up with his phone.
He checked where he kept the new car key.

not there!! the first person he looked at was Jerry.
“my car key..”he asked.
“hunn,I can’t hear”Jerry teased.Obi’s ascent is something else..
millionaires voice tho…you won’t understand if you are not attentive cos he’s too fast.

“my new car key”he said.
Kelly laughed lowly.
“what..I can’t hear?”Jerry said.Obi doesn’t know what Jerry is doing to him is on purpose.He doesn’t talk much and we enjoy seeing him talking.

“my…new…car…key..you saw the white Lamborghini in the compound” Obi rushed words again.

“which car key,what color”jerry said.
“black”obi said.

“blue?????? Jerry and I said.

ohh goddd,what type of friends are this that can’t even hear well.

“here here..I kept it here,black key, white car–are you guys listening to me at all”obi rushed words.

“I don’t know what is wrong with my ear of recent”Jerry said.
“even me..obi spell the blue”I said.

“not blue…black..b l a c k” I said.
“I think its red car key”Kelly added to the fun.

Obi picked and apple–“you need to work on your ears”he said.
“I thought you said orange car” Jerry said..
“ohh damn!!
Obi dropped the apple and ran into his room before we kill him with talks he will still come back, we have practice and he’s the leader.
