finally I found myself speaking .

“Obi,I guess your amulet and royal neck valuable to you– I paused.
my whole system shivered when my eyes met with those charming eyes of his..

“well obi,I just came to tell you that some people out there are after you and your valuables…most importantly they won’t stop till they see you falling”I said.I felt relieved telling him this…
He breathed out and quietly turn his face to the other side cutely.

“what is your main motive of telling me this Emeka,knowing fully well that your brother and I are competitors….
shouldn’t you also be among the people looking for my downfall”he said,smartly.His ringed fingers slowly went for the steering.

I smiled.”am not an enemy,I just want to be a friend,friend”.
hope am convincing again.
“umm obi can we get a drink together?”I asked.
“alright,you can fix a date for the drink”he said.We exchanged cards and I left afterwards.
I breathed out….step one has just been carried out successfully.

I beamed like a good dream.Going over there is like a dream coming true and I regret myself for pushing diamonds away and chasing after stones.

my phone rang,I checked the screen, it was Kelvin.I hissed and cut the call why are you calling me now??
you made me changed towards obi now what exactly are you calling me for?? the phone rang again and I had no other choice than to pick it.
“kelvin…don’t call me,am done here” I dropped the call.
the research manager I hired came in with some files neatly arranged.
“tell me”I said and poured juice in my glass…
“Just found out that Obi is amadioha’s apparent heir…”
I covered my mouth when the research manager spoke.
don’t tell me obi owns this land I stand on–

I managed a smile,she rushed out..
Finally,am going back to make amend.I know I make mistakes but only obi knows how to handle a woman so manly out of the men have met.
“the car is ready”a maid came in..
I moved out with my bag and got into the car straightaway to royal institute.

I stepped out and met the school press already.This place is really huge.

jeeez I still don’t get why I feel so happy.Have been smiling since midnight when granny told me am going to move in with Obi so as to relieve school stress.
going to royal institute from here is really stressful.Now,I will be moving in with Obi.

seriously what am I thinking..
staying with Obi,same house I mean his house,main house and not spark mansion..

isn’t that worth being happy for…
chaiii am lucky. I just pray I get to get full concentration in my studies…

“cheta what are you doing again…the car is waiting oooo”I heard granny’s voice..
I breathed out and carefully place my laptop in my bag.
granny came in and was surprised to see a box.
“hiaa,what are you packing since? are you packing the whole world”she said..
“no need to pack all my clothes, I already got a little box fixed”I told her
“will that be enough–
she suddenly dragged out a big box and emptied all the contents in my wardrobe into it.
I chuckled…she’s pushing me to Obi now,what type of dramatic grandmother do I have.
“now you’re good to go”she said.
“but am not going to a husband’s house” I chuckled and dragged the bag out.

the guard was in our sitting room already. He smiled and rushed to the bag I was dragging immediately..
“good morning madam”he told me when we finally moved in the car.
Rita should better come visiting on Saturdays else am going to miss her scatter.

I fastened my seatbealt and smiled when the driver took off..

soon we arrived in a different estate.
I was awed…a big waow escaped my mind.

the car pulled into a halt in front of the first mansion.

“is this obi’s main house?”I asked the driver.
“yes”he answered.Jeeezz this is really huge.
I will be staying alone in this neat mansion with obi not even as a maid but as a girlfriend.

the driver stepped out and like ten maids in neat uniform rushed out in a roll.I watched them took my luggage in one after the other.
I watched in full bewilderedment.

jeeez I really can’t wait.
the drive back to school was quiet.

soon we arrived.
“have a nice day madam,I will be here waiting for you when you’re ready to leave”he said.
I nodded and swallowed into nothing.

I walked into the compound fully,
a set of princesses catwalked by my right soo dreamingly, they all wore attires so color blocking.
I looked down at my uniform and smiled.I wished I was a princess to so that I won’t be wearing uniform and uniform days.

finally when I thought I will be left out,I came across students who wore the same uniforms like I did.
where are my friends??
I turned,no one.

I sighed and followed the other students.We walked past the class notice board..a lot of students were there checking out their results.
I was also checking with my eyes, although I wasn’t close enough.

the students quickly cleared the road immediately and approaching footstep was heard.
I don’t know who was coming but I also moved out of the way.
The people turned out to be princess Ujunwa and her crews.

her dress sense…..she dress so wild.
the students cheered her name in hails.

uju just kill me already-
I heard murmurs.

she didn’t look at anyone,not even a wave despite how she’s being cheered.
is she this inhuman-
her pride is her worst mistake.
Being a school queen entails so many things some if not all is Love and that’s the greatest,the charisma of being a queen and loyal leader is love,yes the feeling of goodness and kindness towards one another.
but all this,ujunwa lacked it towards her people.

she’s failing in her duty as a school queen,how will she pass when she becomes the queen of a nation?.

Ujunwa still walked in front,as she did that,the securities informed we the non royal students to clear road.
“the school queen wants to check her result,you will check yours when she’s done”the security said

“we were here before her…this is unfair ooo the royals cheat we the non royal students in so many ways” a fat girl said.

Just then uju tried painting her school shirt but the girl held her hand with tears in her eyes.

“my mum really suffered to buy me this uniform”the girl said.
I couldn’t hold watching the bullying scene,I shift my face away.
“she doesn’t know I can withdraw her admission,hey don’t you know my father owns this school”said uju.

Just then the fat girl withdrew her hand and uju marked her.

uju walked out. I felt pity for the bullied girl.

but come to think of it,who exactly made uju the school queen?.
I minded my business.

the other students made her move to the front…waow feels good to be a celebrity friend,now I can see the board clearly.

more students trooped in.

“as you all know that the result of the best student in exams is not shown publicly”.

“the best student with a total of 100 out of 100 in all courses is no one else but….

All the students started clapping.
the clap got soundedly.

“CHETACHI OKEKE!!….chetachi okeke come forward for your results*she said.

I got goosebumps all over.only me, just me out of 1000+ students.

“give it all for the first female student to win “greatness” award…
Mrs Ekins said.
Everyone clapped as I moved forward I feel sooo nervous,you know all eyes moved with me.
I took my results,Mrs Ekins hugged me.I smiled.

the meanest proffesor just hugged me….
The agencies wore me the school sash boldly written on it was “Mrs greatness”.

many lights flashed on me,I smiled broadly.

“congrats on being the school president as well”Mrs ekins said.
I smiled broadly when she presented my award.
the claps increased.
I hugged my award.

A set of girls walked past Margaret and I.I turned slightly.
“those girls are they students??” I asked,she covered my mouth.

I walked to the dean and collected my list of activities from her.

then I attend lectures.

I checked my time table..I was free for the day so I returned to the car. It took me back to Obi’s main house.

it was evening already.
I called home and informed granny happily about my award winning. I even sent her pictures.
she suddenly changed topic. “how is Obi…has he seen you already” she said.I dropped my phone and looked at the screen.

I ended the call and entered the house fully. I looked around speechlessly..

I used the shower and wore the type of outfit I used to whenever am alone.

since there is no boy around,I walked round the penthouse,it was so romantic.everywhere was beautiful the pool had two colors the white part and blue part.
I wondered why there was a stair inside the pool,the stair demarcated the blue side from the white side.

red roses floated on the water beautifully.This is really pretty.
I came across a golden statues… waow Obi has his statue is his house

there was also a fountain man. it was beautiful.There was a button on the hand which says touch me…
I touched it..it poured me water in all direction.
