Samuel forced out a smile and looked away quietly from Chidinma. Rema looked so jealous and over protective just now.
He didn’t even let her shake hands with him.

He replied a text the moment he stepped in.
“Mom am back”
“Your penthouse or where?”
“With my younger brother”
“Okay then,take care”.

He dropped the phone,rema already walked up with his girlfriend and Chris was in the bar,sipping on wine and using his phone at the same time.

Chidinma glanced up at Rema the moment they entered the room.
“Talk about it” rema said while removing his jewelry.
“I thought your friends are Henry, Chris and—-
“Samuel is not just a friend” rema cuts in,Chidinma raised her brows.

“Ohh”
“yeah, he’s my brother” he added.
“he’s your blood?” She asked.
“yeah,don’t we look alike?”
“But the queen have only one son, everyone knows or did she had Samuel before she had rema?” Chidinma looked confused.

“Okay,I never knew you had a brother” Chidinma said instead, although she didn’t spot any resemblance between them but they are both handsome anyways.

“What are you thinking about?”
“Nothing,you’re both handsome” she replied.

“Wait,did she likes Samuel now?” Rema thought inwardly,he faced Chidinma properly.

“What?? You said what?” He asked.
Chidinma shook her head. “ohh no,he is jealous,I have never seen him so possessive”.

“Hmm I said I can’t spot any resemblance between you and him but he’s so handsome” she twisted what she said earlier.

“He’s handsome,I like handsome guys. Can I tell you a secret?”
Chidinma moved to Rema and whispered into his ears. “I have a crush on him”.

Rema cleared his throat like no one’s business.
“You have a crush on him?” He asked, sounding like he doesn’t care.

“He’s so jealous” Chidinma smiled, enjoying the look in his face.
“Yes,I have a crush on him” she replied,jumping on the face.

Rema stared at her for a while. “Is she playing with me or what??.
He took his button lips in.

“You really have a crush on him”

“I told you earlier” Chidinma replied and threw him a pillow. She was really enjoying seeing him being jealous.

“I have a crush on him. Do I love him now? Come on let me think about it” Chidinma spoke, pretending to be thinking about it. She corned her eyes to look at Rema. He looks like an angry bed.

She held herself from laughing.

Rema didn’t allow her finish,he got her from the bed. Chidinma felt his heart beating hardly against her back. He was really jealous.

“Listen,you can’t like anybody apart from me okay! What else do you want me to do for you that I didn’t do? I give you everything, love,care, money and I bath you with so much attention. I pretend to be poor just got you. Do you know how hard it was for me? To let go of my ego and pretend to be a nobody?” Chidinma felt his heart pounding hardly against her back with every words he spoke,his breath on her neck was warm yet tense.

“what’s more? you saw a more handsome guy and you don’t like me anymore. Fine,go ahead. Goodluck” he said,he left her and hurried out with his car key.

“What? Prank gone wrong!. Whoever said Samuel is more handsome than him!
She was just playing with him and he took it seriously to heart.

“Obim!!! She rushed downstairs after him,close to tears.
“What I have I done to him? Did I hurt him that much with the prank?.

Chidinma bumped into Samuel on her way downstairs. She had almost slipped,Samuel caught her waist. She stabled herself.

“Thank you” she said and wanted to walk away but not so fast as Samuel pulled her back the moment he saw her cry.

“Why are you crying?” He asked, his attractive face worried with wrinkles.
“It’s the crying crying girl again” Chris who was heading downstairs chuckled.

“I’m fine” Chidinma collected her hand and rushed out.
She felt not so her. In the past one year relationship with rema,they had never had issues or arguments.

“Why am I so stupid? I don’t even know what to play with” she said to herself,she sniffed while wiping her tears with the back of her palms.

She messaged him.
“Obim,I said am sorry”
“It was just a prank,I love you so so much….believe me it was just a play” she messaged him,yet no reply.

She felt bad within herself,she dialed his digit,no reply. He must have placed his phone on airplane mode.

“Hey,why are you standing alone? Come inside” Samuel said.
*It’s none of your business,can you stop following me already,you have already caused a lot of damages, what else!!!!! Can you stop following me around!!*
The normal Chidinma would have yelled and shun at Samuel. But instead she walked inside,obeying Samuel like what she doesn’t know.

She won’t stop looking at the gate.

“Come on,stop looking at it” Samuel pouted and offered her hand,she quickly took it without hesitation.
She wondered why she is suddenly listening to him and even taking his hand..

When last did she touch a guy that’s not Rema????…..

“Don’t cry okay” Samuel said, she nodded.
“He’s always like that,he will come back to beg you….you have to promise me you won’t answer him once he comes back begging” Samuel stated,his eyes won’t give up staring at chidinma.

*Come back to beg me,when I hurt him badly* Chidinma sighed.

“Okay thank you” Chidinma said,she collected her hand and left hastily.
Samuel sighed and dug his fingers into his hair.

He looked so confused.

King Jewel as well as the other influential lawmakers stood before queen chiamaka,begging her like a mini god.
Queen chiamaka felt like the world was in her feet,having this type of people begging her. Today makes it the second week they will be begging her like this, king Jewel’s own was worst.
The old man begged her everyday, Everytime,every seconds,minutes and hours. Yet,her mind still remained unchanged.

She’s never letting any of them meet with Rema,never. Cos when he was blind,they all turned their back against her,pointing dirty fingers at her ….calling her and her son all sorts of names.

It’s now a pay back time right now and she will pay every one of them back what they deserves,starting from king Jewel.

“(clears her throat) I already told you people,rema is out of the country and he won’t be coming back anytime soon” she responded.

“Chiamaka,I know you hate me now but please don’t do this! Let me see my son?”

“The blind one or which one? The one you disowned or which one?”

King Jewel sighed and did what he has never done in his entire life, he knelt holding chiamaka’s leg. Never in his life had he be humiliated like this!.

“Either I will let you meet Rema or not depends on your ability” she finally said.

“Thank you so much chiamaka,you’re very kind”
“Thank you my queen”
“Thank you queen chi”

Chiamaka raised her hand to silence the law makers.

“It depends on your ability so don’t thank me yet”….

“If you answer all my questions correctly,I will gladly talk to Rema and my questions are ……
