Kaylan and Jaden were talking a walk around the balcony when they heard the hard hooves of horses riding in. They looked downwards and found Lord Xander riding in with the guards – so dangerously.

“It’s been hours already. I wonder where they went” Jaden commented and Kaylan just shrugged.

Xander stepped down from his horses and marched into his chambers,Axel following up closely.

Xander felt both hurt and pained. He was probably pained due to the fact that he was reminded of his inability to have a child. And also pained because he’ didn’t kill Berlin in the end. Well, the words of his mother saved him.

He got into his chambers and dropped his sword on the table.

“My Lord; do you need me to get something for you?’ Axel asked from behind, trying to chose his words wisely so he doesn’t sound offensive in anyway.

Xander said nothing inner as he removed his armor and heavy clothings.

“Get me Anya” he finally said and walked into the bathroom.

Anya was in her room, seated on the bed and awaiting the knock.

She knew Lord Xander was out and deemed it the perfect time to do this.

Shortly, she heard the knock and her heart beamed. With a small smile touching her lips, she stood up and went for the door, Akim standing in the space.

“Greetings, Akim” she lowered her head.

“Greetings to you too, Anya” Akim sighed.
He was looking so huge and manly in the thick clothes he wore.
“You requested to see me”.

“Yes, please. Come in” Anya stepped away and Akim walked in afterwards, closing the door behind.

“Why did you say you wanted to see me, Anya?” He asked, watching her as she reached for a jug of drink.

“Calm down, Akim. Don’t tell me you’re in so much of a hurry”. She spoke so calmly and sweetly.

“Well, I find it strange that you sent for me, Anya. So, if you could just tell me what I need to know, I’d really find it pleasing enough”. He replied.

Anya dropped the drink and turned around to face him.

“Okay then. I think I’d just go straight to the point” she began, sounding as calm and innocent as she’s always been.
“I have an offer for you, Akim – one you might like.

“I’ve noticed your advances towards Princess Kaylan and was wondering if you’d want to take it to a different level”.

Akim scoffed.

“Advances? What advances are you talking about?”

“I know what I’m talking about, Akim; I’ve been watching you. And I was just wondering perhaps, you might want to take it to a next level” she shurgged.

Akim was about saying something else when a knock on the door interrupted them and Anya flinched.
Who could it be?

She glanced at Akim who was also staring at it, then went towards the door to check it out. And opening it, she discovered it was one of Lord Xander’s guards.

“Lord Xander wants you in his chambers. Now” the guard delivered the message and left.
